I remember back in 94, when my dad took me to hockenheim to watch the race live there... from that on, i went to hockenheim, nürburgring and spa everytime f1 was there... from year to year the sound of the cars sucked more and more... the v10's were great,too... but the v8's from nowadays... omg... I would give anything to just hear that V12 again...

The Cosworth V8's just didn't scream.. they were more like a 'bang'sound, but yes, they sounded better than the 2.4l from today... I think from 2013 on f1 will drown... and in 2014 they will go through the pits on electrical engines... WTF? This is F1, not Lego or Playmobile...
@JohnnyMidnight1 maybe ecclestone will die before 2020. you have to thanks montezemolo because threatened ecclestone to rule out ferrari from f1 if the 4 cyl. will be set in the future.

Back when qualifying engines were allowed. They were built to last only a few laps, lighter and higher revving then the race engine. Love it!!!

How many RPM´s did they rev then ?
I believe the '94 412 T1 revved at 14,500 or 15,000 RPM and the '95 412 T2 was at 17,000 RPM.
