Hey mate FYI there is a weak aura that tells you if you are being targetted by a spell i.e. necrotic bolt. It can be used for every m+ and regardless of spell it'll tell you (flash if your being targeted) may help prevent a future death.
@@jpibmg It is trolling. Bursting down big packs that can wipe you is more important than saving for the next. It depends more on the group if they can stay alive or not rather than the spec he's playing, but in pugs you kind of have to take everything with a grain of salt and assume your teammates won't survive
Tip for the sniper pack, you dont need stop, the tank has to turn all the snipers around, they just shoot random targets in front of them. SO you just all stand behind them
Almost every pack will instantly kill vdh without fel dev+spikes on entry. Also if he lept in the middle instead of in front, he will catch a butthole slap and seem like paper. Not sure specifically what happened there, but ive had that pack kill me in the first global at least a half dozen times if i try to ego it ever
for the snipers pulling them is fine you just have to stand behind them right down the butt crack because the sniper bullets are frontals so if everyone is loosely stacked behind the mobs (usually by the stairs) and drop the poopoo on the grass or close to it on the right then it should only be the tank getting sniper shot. you going to the side of the mobs close to the tank during that pull is what killed you, and thats why they all targeted you and shot you but not the ranged standing behind the snipers. *TLDR standing DIRECTLY behind them makes the pack trivial*
@10:50 do not skip the snipers in SoB if you do NOT use any stops or stuns they actually focus tank ( if you use any of them they'll switch targets ), so stay behind them and nuke in peace
It’s not that you know “nothing” it’s that tanking this expansion is wildly different. It’s just a lot harder with lots of mobs all casting abilities all at once. Like mass groups of 3 or more of the same type of enemy that will just all use a tank buster at once. Like your previous bonafides still stand, but until you tank 8+ you really have no idea.
I know why you’re doing it. But the mage, evoker, spriest comp is not a good comp for super high keys. Sure it’s big damage but you’d time so many more keys if guys weren’t just memeing for damage. I do love this series though. This is awesome content. And I love that you’re playing mage. My main. Keep it coming
Regarding the remove curse CD, highly recommend this weakaura that will glow the unit frame to show if someone has a dispellable debuff AND your dispel is off CD: The War Within Dungeon Dispels - Frame Glows - SEASON 1
Referring to the first footage of the dawnbreaker 13, the reason why SLT couldn't save you guys from dying is becos the lack of kicks, abyssal howl went off. SLT is not good if the group is not top up quick enough, i played a resto shaman, when a SLT is being chuck off , i need to ensure i pair it with another healing CDs if i know i can;t keep up. Yeah its fucking hard, there are mulitple reason like myself not being good enough for certain keys, lack of experience and also factoring if the dps have used their defensive and stops at the right time. There is so many times where stops and interrupts overlap leading to no interrupts at the next junction, coordination and more coordination is the key.
Also that VDH SoB, it can literally just happen - especially in the 10+ range they can just unfortunately get clapped and fall over it’s not too often with other tanks you might be able to get away with a second of not having your active mit / defensive up as you go into a pull but VDH can get unlucky without their calc spikes dr and fall instantly. Misjudging by even a second with VDH can be catastrophic
Tbh the fact that its hard isnt the turn off it truly is just too toxic now. As a dps trying to get better and actually learn people wont even let me mess up on a 5 without trashing my skills or dps
vengeance dh leaping into a mob and dying happens so much. They do not use their brains. They forget other classes can't also leap 50 yards and you are now out of range of everyone including healer.
If you can play frost and arcane I wouldn't tie yourself to one spec, choose depending on your composition 👌 sometimes having an arcane mage in the group feels so good for the prio damage and seeing the scary mobs in a pack melt
@VesperalTV Do you think the Key squish has been more of a positive change or more of a negative change? I've heard both sides and i understand each side while i lean a little bit towards negative but I'd enjoy hearing what your thoughts are on it. None the less enjoy the videos man! keep it up
Honestly, I think it didn't make a big difference. They screwed the pooch on the gearing curve big time with delves at the start of TWW. That was way more of a factor, because a lot of people thought it wise to jump directly into +5 or 6, even if they weren't good enough.
Squish is OK, but balancing between different key ranges is so huge, that it makes it look bad. Also this is the hardest season by far, i am healer and I have never felt this like ever how hard is it to heal 10s. Also would love, if they gave us myth track items in other way than vaults. 1 rng item is just not enough for a progress. Even when myth track items would drop from +12 onwards (even when i think it should be from 10 onwards), I would love that to strive for sth to get gear on.
Ya that CoT route kinda sucks, I prefer the left route. No triple caster pulls in a pug is always welcome. Not sure if it’s slower but I hate that dungeon so I’m not keen to find out.
Mythic + is not that hard if you play with 2 melees to int. You have spriest with 45 sec int and i don`t know mage how much he has. you are just killing the healer :)))

There’s no set in stone rule for spymasters. If you have 30 stacks for a big pull with cds and you don’t pop it, you’re trolling
Probably more spec dependent than saying it’s trolling if you don’t use a 30 stack

you can get on a repair mount and kick off the vendors to let two other part members on and be rescued across for the NW skip just a FYI
The sniper pack on SOB won’t shoot the dps if the tank faces them away from u while everyone else stands on other side. They will only target tank

Kinda insane a tank can get into a 12 SOB and not know about staying in melee on the 2nd and last bosses.

if a mob is ccd during final harvest it wont wipe u can cc a mage the entire time or last second stun

Had way more fun when there was more keys to progress into the 20s. Makes no sense the difficulty spike between 11-12s

having 2 casters in your groups is your first problem
3 casters. He wants power infusion and augmentation buff. Yeah it’s good for showing off meters, but it’s a HORRIBLE mythic plus comp
and the aucmount had nothing to do with the lags

you dont have a shaman healer in a lot of those.. so yea
not having an affliction lock in a 12sob is not good. you almost need the second dispel unless you have a livelord group
