That introduction to Oberyn was epic! This man was a star from day one.
I loved it!!
"What the f*ck's a Lommy?" 😂 one of my fav lines, The Hound and Arya are such a brilliant duo.
My favorite one after Tyrion and Bronn
They have the best back and forth.
"The greatest swordsman who ever lived didn't have a sword?"
I used to compete in HEMA(Historical European Martial Arts) in the Longsword category for 10 years. I'm naturally right handed and left handed fighters were so hard to beat. 90% of people you face your entire career are right handed, so you just get used to that. Then rarely comes along a left handed person who does what everyone else does, but everything they do is now mirrored. It's so hard to beat. You have to actively be reversing everything in your mind as it's happening, fighting against your natural response instincts. I own a fencing manual from the 1400's called Fior di Battaglia(The Flower of Battle). It shows many things like stances and guards, something called The Window Guard won me many engagements.
That's so interesting!
‘Is that a REAL kid!?!’. Lol. There’s at least three of these per episode. I LOVE it.
Remember that this small part is what made Pedro a star, he was considerably more unknown prior to this but Oberyn really thrust him into the spotlight!
Prince Oberyn is my favorite character introduced in this season. Total badass!
I love his character so far already!
I was just getting ready for bed when I saw this had been dropped so I guess sleep has just got to wait. This is easily my favourite G. O. T reactions channel right now and every day a new video is dropped is always a good day. Should only get better too as this is a great season.
Thanks so much! ❤️ I'm already loving this season so far!
"Who's this guy?" Lol! I was like, Where? Did I really never notice a third person in the scene?! Lmao
😂 I was so used to seeing him long haired and disheveled!
The Wildling's still have to stick to that plan because Ygritte's group have no way of contacting the army beyond the wall. Only they know Jow ran away.
Ah good point!
Dang, Emmy…giggling through a wrist piercing by Oberyn and a bloody skirmish featuring a Hound/Arya skirmish! No longer a sweet summer child. Nice. This is a strong season. Much more fun to come.❤
It's still tough to watch some times but I'm definitely getting more used to it! 😂
This season is by far the best season of GoT. Maybe the best season of any show.
I'm loving it so far!
You used to shield your eyes to violence, now you laugh when Lannister men squirt blood
That cold open was so excellent
Yay🎉
Loving this journey with you!🏅
Keep up the epic work 🤩
Thanks so much! ❤️
My favorite opener to all the seasons, and (since you’ve already posted ep 2) made even sweeter by what comes next. We begin with two swords, one larger, one smaller, and end with The Hound and Arya, who have a similar size comparison.
Pedro Pascal!! Enough said!!❤❤🤣🤣
I seriously love him!!
Guys Emmy is close to 1k subs give her a little push.
"The wizard guy who cut off his situation." 😂😂
You didn't recognise Jaime! 😂😂
A great start from you, and then that whole scene at the end is comedy gold with lashings of violence. The Hound and his love of chickens began a whole series of memes, just google.
I know Pedro Pascal makes such an entrance but do keep an eye on his paramour. She's played by Indira Varma. I've seen her on stage a couple of times (once in a play with Emilia Clarke!) and she is one of the best stage performers I've ever seen. At the end of ''Present Laughter', another character (her ex husband) was talking and she was just sitting stage left staring out into the audience. I was in the second row, barely ten feet away, and there were genuine tears running down her face. I'll always remember that moment!
A great start to arguably the best season!
She was also in the show Rome, along with the fella who plays Mance Rayder and the fella who plays Edmuir Tulley!
@@Ottawajames You know, I have never seen Rome, and it's just up my via. Thanks for the reminder.
She'd have been a great choice for the Doctor . . .
Pedro's entrance was so great but his lady friend was also very stunning! That's awesome you got to see her on stage! I can't wait for the rest of this season with them
Glad to see you so excited!😊 This is the best season in my opinion. ❤ From india
I'm loving this season so far!!
@Emmy Reacts If you like pedro pascals character in this season, you are going to really love him in the next season. Think of this whole season as his just introduction. Next season, he really becomes a fan favorite.
Right. The buildup is crazy this season though.
Yeah, the beginning was Tywin melting down "Ice," the Stark's valerion steel family sword. Which they used to kill Ned, Yes. Aholes. Since it was a great sword, very big and difficult to handle, he had it made into 2 swords. He also wanted 2 swords because the Lannisters have never had a Valerian steel family sword, and he wanted one for the Lannisters and the Baratheons. Since Joffrey is technically considered a Baratheon. Tywin has been searching for valerian steel for his family his whole life.
Almost but not quite. The Lannisters did once have a valyrian steel blade.
Brightroar is a Valyrian steel blade that was the ancestral weapon of House Lannister. It was lost when Tommen II Lannister, King of the Rock, took it on his expedition to the ruins of Valyria and disappeared.
@@havok6280 Ah yes!! Good call, I forgot about that! And then Uncle Gerion (Heh, heh, good name) went to Valeria to bring it back, but never returned. How could I have forgotten!
Yes! New Emmy just dropped!!
🥰
Perfect timing!! I'ma have a great lunch. Yay!!
❤️
I bet your a good dancer because you were doing some serious dance moves at the end of this episode when they were in the Inn.
hahaha gotta have some good moves to keep up with all the violence on this show!
The Daario change is always jarring, but he grew on me a lot. The previous actor seemed a little too romance novel for me 😅
That's no way to talk about Francis...
Word is he was creeping the girls out on set.
Omg yes the previous actor was so romance novel-y 😂
Brienne : I swear to you, i'll avenge Renly.
Margaery : who?
Renly : your husband, who was brutally murdered.
Margaery : ho that guy. I forgot about him.
😂
The Hound is the best character in the series.
So the reason why jaime so keen on staying in the kings guard is because of cersei. and she is also the reason why jaime wanted to be in the king guards to be close with her. what a hopeless romantic jaime is.
He seriously is so obsessed with her 😳
I am still loving your reactions, babe, especially to the gory stuff. You're so fun!
❤️
Let's go!!
Almost 1,000 congratulations earlier. You celebrate the murder of your hated character with joy. 🎉
🥳
No that was Ned's sword
Ned was decapitated by his own sword, so yes it is.
Oof that makes it even worse!
and the Stark's sword for centuries before that
F Jamie Lannister!
New Dario is so generic, sad the original couldn't continue in the role.
Definitely such a big change from the original actor!
