Hemstitching at the End of a Weaving Project on a Rigid Heddle Loom

Ending a piece of weaving with hemstitching creates a really pretty edge and helps protect and hold your weft yarn. It can also make it easier to create short fringes or to sew in the fringe edges if you want a clean fabric edge.

The yarn used in this video for the warp and weft is from Lion Brand. It's called Schitt's Creek (as in the television show), and it's a really soft, slightly shiny 100% acrylic yarn that I got on super deep discount. I used the color "rose apothecary" for the weft yarn. I used the following colors for the warp: "a little blush", "the premiere", and "wine and roses".
I plan on doing a series over the next few weeks on hemstitching techniques. I may put them all together at some point as one long workshop.
I'm newish to weaving and still learning various techniques. I'm also learning video editing. I'm hoping I improve on both fronts.
