In my younger days (I'm 79) we would have called this a clothes pin apron, used for holding all the clothes pins to hang our wet clothes outside. So glad thats a thing of the past, especially in our cold northern winters when the clothes froze as we hung them ... along with our fingers! The big advantage was the clothes smelled so fresh and good!

@@donnainmt I am 77 and yes I had one of those clothes pegs aprons. Disposable diapers were just starting to be popular but so expensive so my kids had the regular cloth diapers and yes they smelled so good coming in from the fresh air. In the winter months here in BC Canada it was too wet to hang clothes outside so my hubbie installed a clothes line in the basement. White flags everywhere. Haha. Memories!!

This is the simplest process I’ve ever seen. The way the straps are done make it easily adjustable for anyone. That is a plus for those who sew to sell.

I do not know if the person that's doing these instructions is going to see this comment. You, or she is a wonderful, great, instructor, or teacher on how to make a item. Or making the apron you are great at explaining and showing step-by-step. I do wish more people would explain and show the way that you have just done on making this apron. Thank You So Much!

I made two like this for my daughter using drapery fabric several years ago. She stands four and ahalf feet tall. Mom all the aprons tangle around my knees. It is so frustrating. She chose to have hers lined with painters drop cloth(hubby is a painter added that for fun). She wants to have some more made as they have worn out after 10-12yrs. She just loves them. She is scouring the thrift shops for ends of the rolls. Thank you for a delightful reminder as to how to do this. I might have to make some smaller ones for the great grandkids. I'd rather be sewing than doing house work. ThkU.

I worked my rear end off making quilt tops for the 4 girls in my family, sent them off to be quilted, and put my sewing machine AWAY! Thinking surely I am DONE! with sewing.
Then along pops up your easy to follow video for aprons. 😆. Guess Im headed to the fabric store and pulling out my sweing machine! You made this look so easy! Thank you for that!
Sewing is my winter hobby, but I was NOT gonna attempt another quilt. Im hoping to find more easy-peasy things to sew! Thank you for inspiring me to get back at it!

I have an apron very similar to this. It is my favorite. It fits perfect on anyone because of the straps. Great apron pattern to share. Nice presentation on how to make. Thank you❤😊🥰

Thank you very simple to make. I will be making one of these. Was thinking it would be great to see you do one out of patchwork material.
