En África lo primero que le quitan a los motores es el filtro de aire, con todo el polvo que hay por allí,no se,tiene que haber una razón que de peso para hacerlo. Me intriga.
Taking the ignition coil out while engine running it's a normal practice in engine diagnostic. Disconnecting ignition coil connector will be better way on your mind? You can easy damage it, especially on old car parts like this.
@@top_ass taking the ignition coil out while an engien is running is defintiely not normal practice anymore, on a modern engine thats 50'000 volts you are messing with.
Come off it, a spark plug not sparking so engine not running smooth, replaced with wrong type of plug. This car will fail mot on emissions. Plug problems are easy to identify when there is no difference when plug is disconnected. When you can fix a merc, you can fix any car, except the Mazda with a rotary engine, probably more complicated.
I HAVE ONE OF THIS IN NIGERIA. but sadly, our mechanic aren't trying at all. Please, I need more of this kind. With love from Nigeria.
So this is a proof how little old machines need to run comparing to nowdays standards. 👍

Actually it say 190E on the back of the car and E in German stands for injection, this car was converted to carburettor..
This is quite rare for the carbureted w201 190. Mostly you will get the fuel injected ones(ke-jetronic)
maybe it used to be fuel injected and over time it became carburated, I wouldn't be surprised XD
@@krecik2336 no, this is carbureted from the factory. The ke-jetronic will be in the other position.
@@timevscars i believe carburetor version doesn't come with ABS so maybe they convert it into carburetor from injection

Pro mechanic fixing 30 years old Mercedes. Can he fix new 2020 Mercedes like this with 30 engine codes problems
Even after replacing parts it would probably still not work because it'll have to be coded. All of this to take our money back to mercedes scammers
Who needs 2020 mercedes when the cars from the 1980s are still on the road?
30 engine codes? Surely you're joking, modern mercs will have have at least 3 digits worth of codes if you actually have a problem
Maybe this car originaly had fuel injected as standard because it had abs (anti lock brake). I never seen merc's with a carburetor had abs before even in w124 model
I think it’s carbureted from factory but they could order abs as an option

The body is definitely an injected engine model...and I think that carb is from a 22r Toyota...
