I think it's plausible that the void isn't one single place but a hub that connects a vast network of voids which is housed within one void. Like having a few jars within a large jar, you have to open the big jar to get to the small ones but if you are in the small ones you can get to all the other ones without opening the bigger jar. This brings me back to when the ghost says that dreadnaughts don't exist in our universe. This is perhaps evidence to suggest that the warpath of the darkness isn't contained in one universe but all of them. Maybe the traveler jumps from universe to universe looking for suitable places to visit through the void but it cannot escape the darkness because the darkness is a fundamental force. Oryx's understanding of the deep or the final shape also allows his throne world to persist side by side with reality, and by doing so makes his universe his throne world. My guess is that if oryx defeated the traveller in ttk he would've made all the realities and universes his throne world so he could assimilate with the darkness, essentially becoming one with it. All through the void.
Just wanted to add a point. The way I see the void, is that it is like an alternate reality that you can jump in and out of. If you 'walk' the void, you leave this reality, this plane of existence, and enter the void. You then re-emerge at a different place. If you hadn't guessed, I'm hinting at teleportation. If you can walk the void, and those who walk the void aren't bound by space or time, that adds up to teleportation. That is why I believe void walkers are the only warlock subclass who can use 'blink'. When they blink, they actually pass through the void, but because the laws of space/time don't apply it appears that they just 'teleport'. Whereas in reality they could actually have spent days in the void, just to get to the place where they can reappear into our reality. Oh yeah, this is all my speculation btw :)
Techno Master1928 yeah but doesn't the hunters have the ability to shadow step plus the warlocks taught the hunters how to blink so maybe it's something you learn? idfk just speculation
The Fault I didn't even think about shadowstep, as I said, I don't play hunter, but I also came up with this theory off the top of my head, so I didn't put that much thought into it. Also, it is entirely possible that the Warlocks could simply teach the hunters to enter the void. It might not even be specific to Warlocks, maybe anyone can do it, but Voidwalkers especially because of their connection with the void.
I see the void as dark matter. for those of you who dont know, dark matter is an invisible type of matter in space that adds a gravitational force that holds planetary orbit together with the assist of an central celestial object like the sun. when the assist (sun) collapses it can change into lots of variations like a proton star or red dwarf. one option is a sun will die and turn into a black hole. a black hole is drawing all dark matter to it and then making the gravitational force so strong it even sucks up light . when the void is used I see it as the dark matter expelling all that it has absorbed out in a focused projectile like the void bomb or shadow shot.
@@Thetravelingmonke what i find absolutely hilarious is I made this comment five years ago and if you asked me today what dark matter is, I wouldn't have the slightest clue. I was rereading my comment thinking "wow this guy is smart!" It was probably during the stage where I hyperfixated on space for a while which is fun to remember. Thanks for the notification that dug up this old comment lol
The void is like an ocean; titans may swim in it, granted a membrane of protective void light, hunters sail its shores and hunt its waters, but warlocks...warlocks can walk on the waves and command the current, we can dive deep and from that dive drown/not-drown it's your choice if you survive. No one is corrupted by the void without their secret consent.
When you realize the true badassery of the artwork for this video. It combines Dark Soul's Quiet Resolve gesture (even with the elite knight helm, awesome touch) with the badass Voidwalker. Brandon will definitely get support from me on Patreon. Also, thanks Myelin Games for introducing his artwork into my life. You both deserve as much respect as possible for what you do for the Destiny community!!! :D
imagine you make a bunch of circles on a piece of paper, now imagine each circle is a universe, you’d still have empty space between those universes. I believe the void is that empty space
Yeah, I was just about to ask why us Defender mains can use the power of nothingness to form barriers. It really seems odd. Also, the flavor text for the Defender subclass suggests that the Void is not the Darkness, as Defenders use the Void to become "The Wall against which the Darkness breaks." At least that is how I interpret it.
The defender description I think suggests that it is indeed the in-between from our universe and that of the darkness. Meaning that the darkness is held at bay by the void, hence it only being able to communicate to ones in our universe like Oryx, instead of coming itself. That wod explain its kind of true neutral state.
I prefer to believe that the Void is NOT a part of the Darkness, it is a part of the Light. Ulan-Tan says this in a quest step description: "...If Light connects across space and time, what is the Void? What role does the vacuum-the absence-play? What stops the Darkness from entering into the places between the stars? The answer is simple: the Void is just another type of Light."
You and I talked about this on my channel already. I was trying hard not to give this away!!! I stand by looking at black holes as the connection for the void. What do black holes do? Trap everything, even light, inside of them. But what happens to them? One theory: They're a big battery, and who the heck knows for what. Also, could be for space-time. Weeeee so many thoughts.
Beard_Grizzly It's also possible that Ulan-Tan was a bit mad and therefore not entirely accurate in his definition. His Faction, The Symmetry, was, after all, considered to have 'dangerous beliefs' by the Tower. I'm actually leaning on the side that Efrideet's group are followers of Ulan-Tan's beliefs - the Light being in everything and being connected across all sources.
mrhappysadass That's a spot i hadn't even considered. There's a lot of off-shoots in the Destiny world for "religious" texts, however, very similar to us today. So many ways it could be interpreted.
Beard_Grizzly Yup, everything in the Destiny universe has a thousand interpretations, which for people like yourself and Myelin makes your job that extra bit harder. But personally I love the fact that everything has that level of unknown because it makes it all the more satisfying when a concrete definition is finally given and things fall perfectly into place.
So when you shade step, are you actually stepping through the void and then ending up back in reality? You're not invisible, but actually not even there.
Have mained a Voidwalker warlock ever since the beginning of Destiny. Ive wielded both arc and solar subclasses as well but never found more enjoyment then that of the Void Nova Bomb.
Void light is honestly the scariest type light in destiny because its like its own thing and kind of like it is its own realm that you can draw power from and its like the neutral between the light and darkness
Void is the bridge between light and dark, between life and death. The voidwalker must change themselves, twist themselves in order to wield the power. The traveler came from it. Therefore void is the most potent light that is closest to the traveler.
Out of the powers, the void on each class is home to me. Void is what I use to battle against guardians and the enemies from the darkness. I wonder, did it twist me? I can't leave this power.
i think the void light seems dark is because it's draining of all things. it drains light, darkness, life, matter, energy. it's just all consuming. i think that's why it twists you light
Void is the best element. Change my mind. The Void is the beginning and end of all things. It creates and destroys. Anything that comes from it must eventually return when the time comes. Void Light is raw, unadulterated energy of the Traveller and the universe itself. For that, it is pure. Its pureness is beautiful. Its beauty is nothing to fear, but to embrace in healthy doses.
On the note that void is directly linked to the darkness, anyone noticed how fallen an cabal don't use void weapons an these races don't really have too much to do it it?
Hey Myelin, I have a theory for the Void If you notice, a lot of the grimoire states that the void is 'between the Stars' , now I don't know if you noticed, but Eris noted after you kill Alak Hul "may he go screaming back into the pit between the stars", could the Void potentially be an afterlife/type of thing? Also could potentially link with her getting the Void sword stone at the end of the taken King quest line..
I like to think that the Void is neither Darkness or Light but something neutral and independent that both can use but is interpreted differently depending on who is using it and how.
I've also noticed that Vex and Hive are the only ones with Void weapons, right? Only instances of Void being used by non-Darkness enemies is the shields of Splicer captains and some elite psions (flayers, operants, etc.).It could be said that the splicers were able to get it from the hive, possibly through Kovik and his work with them, and the Cabal were able to take it from the Vex. Maybe that's why they had the base built around and technology hooked up to the Spire on Mars. That would mean that not only the Guardians can siphon and use the void at their will, the Vex and Hive can too, and the Splicers and Cabal are powerful enough to steal it from them.
I agree... there is actually an item that hints at this being true and also implies that everything else comes from the void. It is the Nerigal Savant III which reads, "Into the void, the spark. From the spark, the fire. After the fire, the void." Sort of reinforces the cyclical nature of the elements
Marked by the void, as much as i would love to draw on its power more I can't help but wield my golden gun to cleanse this world of it's enemies. The flame purifies indiscriminately and there is a reason it brought the end of Dregen Yor.
Personally I had an idea where the light actually isn't a type of space magic at all but actually corresponds to the four fundamental forces in nature. Arc light could be wielded by manipulating the electromagnetic force. Solar light could be used by manipulating the strong and weak nuclear forces. This especially makes sense because the grimoire cards tell us that solar light is the same power of the stars (more or less) and the nuclear forces are what govern the stars. Void light is where it gets interesting because this is where Superstring theory is incorporated and superstring theory still isn't entirely understood (as far as I know as of the time I write this comment). I think that void light corresponds with gravity. The grimoire card that tells us that "Those who have stared into the void are not bound by the laws of space and time." Well according to the theory of general relativity gravity is the warping of space and time (how this occurs is difficult to explain without a picture of some sort) and of void light is the manipulation of gravity then a guardian technically would no longer be bound by the laws of space and time because that guardian could technically control space and time. One issue is that, just like Myelin said, the void is a place. Well this is where superstring theory comes in. In this theory, the idea of parallel worlds is an actual thing (which could explain the vex having access to multiple timelines). I think that the void is the "hyperspace,"as it is referred to by string theorists, that these universes exist in. This could also explain why it is hinted that the hive nether worlds exist in the void; they are simply different universes floating in a void of an infinite number of other universes (the other universe don't necessarily have to be "parallel in superstring theory"). Gravity is easily the weakest of the three forces in our universe, however, the reason for this is because gravity actually "seeps" out of our universe into the hyperspace or void in which all the other universes reside. Earlier said that I think void light is the manipulation of gravity. If the void is the hyperspace in superstring theory, then that would explain why the void is a place in the Destiny lore and why it is also a source of power. Also the two enemy races that would have the most connection with the void if my idea is correct (the hive and the vex) are the also the two that employ the most use of the void damage type. One thing that superstring theorist hope to achieve is the creation of a unified field theory. It is essentially something that defines the four fundamental forces into one super force. This could be the source for the Traveler's power. If we were able to manipulate all four forces as one super force then the possibilities are limitless. That's what I think caused the golden age is the Traveler gifting humanity with the ability to manipulate the super force. As far as the darkness is concerned, I don't think that the darkness is an actual thing. I think that the power that both sides wield in Destiny is just both sides manipulating the four fundamental forces of the universe. I think that the Traveler and the worm gods (and the heart of the black garden) are are jus using the two sides as a way of carrying out their wishes. In other words I think that both sides are being deluded by their own gods. Why the worms in the hive hunger for the light is another mystery that I think I have an answer for, but it's a little abstract and makes a little less sense. I think that in Destiny lore the super force somehow is connected to consciousness (there is a lot on consciousness in information theory and quantum physics, but getting into that would just make an already long comment longer) and the worms just feed on consciousness and life in its most basic form. While there is no evidence that the four forces are linked to sentience, we have to remember that Destiny is a science fiction game. The worms themselves aren't very powerful so they struck a bargain with the proto-hive by granting the hive immortality in exchange for satisfying the worms unending hunger for life. I think that the fact that the sword logic demands killing reinforces this idea as despite the hive not being connected with the "light" they can still be killed to fulfill the sword logic like when Oryx kills one of his sisters to gain power. Well that's just some of my thoughts on the light in Destiny. If you made it to the end, congratulations.
The idea that Arc light is within all life really lines up with the respective subclasses. Hunters and Titans have instincts and fighting spirits, and move without much thought. So they can access it easliy. But Warlocks have their mind as a weapon, using thought and knowledge to shape light, matter, and reality into weapons to destroy their enemies. They need deeper focus to unleash the Arc energy, and a constant state of it. This, is why I love Warlocks the most.
So as I understand The Void is a space outside of space and time (or atleast time) and because of that could The Void be used as a means of transportation, like how a wormhole is described (you know, bending a paper and putting a hole in it) but the space between the two sides of the paper would be The Void.
"In our desperation we turned to the Void. The blinding night, the hellspace where our science and reason failed. We took the twisted few that had returned from that place. We built a frame around them, a conduit of their affliction. Gave them the weapons of the old ways. Gun and blade. A new warrior, a new code was born."
No joke RUclips made me I'm subscribed to your channel and I totally forgot about it and I just saw this video and I'm so happy I always wanted this video to come out to explain what the elemental damages is
This is my take on Void : 'Void'-- deriving from the word nothingness is a force to be reckoned with, the sheer existence causing a mere domiance to shadow over it's existent users. This is why it can corrupt and twist a guardian's light. Void can be seen from a mythological perspective if one looks up the name 'Erebus', who is the personification and justification of darkness or void. Hypothetically, void energy can be related to the zero point theory which in simple man's terms means you are drawing an abundance of energy or force from a vaccum of some sort. This could mean that void energy is around us on Earth itself, the nothingness and vacuum. It's a curse but also a blessing, only the lion-hearted being able to control this fundamental force. Some whose mind is not strong enough to withstand the darkness may cause their mental instability. In conjunction to this, one's mental state can have dastard attributes and effects to their physical embodiment.
We all are practically surrounded by the void and many mysteries hide within it that have not been discovered. keep up the great work Matt! we need to hangout together on Destiny sometime 👍😏
I have some questions. 1. If a guardian harness the void enough would their light be erased? 2. Would a guardian's void light be able to be stolen by the hive and feed them? 3. Would a guardian, after prolonged exposure to void energies, be able to utilize other elements?
Applying this to life I felt a sudden surge of power like I could do anything. Then I realized that I was only one piece of something bigger than life itself. It was almost scary...
All of a sudden, I feel a slight pang of guilt after having deleted my Warlock. But only slight. There is a definite coolness to stringing a precise shot (or three) from my Shadowshot. Marked by the void alright. But I'd caution about speculating too deeply about every usage of the word void in the grimoire and elsewhere. Void has often been used just as synonym for the emptiness of interstellar space or vacuum. I've always thought void light may have to do with that but be a bit more. Just like arc and solar light are relatable to known sources, void light may be relatable to more esoteric or even theoretical sources, such as dark matter/energy.
In halo, slipspace(slipstream space) is also called the void. Its a smaller dimension empty but with 7 more dimensions and no laws of physics. Its kind of a web of strings between all matter.
I think it's paramount that we distinguish the capitalized "Void" and the lowercase "void". The "Void" is the place and thing that you're talking about. The "void" is just another way to say vacuum; the nothing between stars.
I believe that the void represents a barrier, the darkness that holds back the light but also the light that holds back the darkness and is a thin area between light and dark in which we can walk, slowed, weakened, and being corrupted and only be the force of our will and our fearlessness can we master the void.
As a former defender, current sentinel I wonder why warlocks and hunters are little "twisted" by the void, but titans are not? Do titans just start with their twist, or is their "act now, think later" attitude a layer of protection from that twisting?
This video earned my respect and you a subscriber. The Void is most likely a mix of Light and Darkness. A hybrid amalgamation. When an enemy is destroyed by Void Light... where do the go? Something to think on.
'all that is dark is not darkness". I think that the void is similar to the other types of energy and that it can be used by both the light and dark but is not directly connected to either, it may have some effects on those that use it though. The hive, worms and maybe the ahamkara are the ones that refer to the darkness are "the deep" as far as warlocks and most guardians are concerned the void may be dark but it is not park of the darkness which is actually sapient.
I hadn't known the void connected guardians with the hive and vex this is really making me rethink using Nightstalker as my main subclass even though Nightstalker is overpowered s hell
I'm surprised that Ikora's mention of possible long-term effects of using the void to syphon life didn't come up (text from some kind of Voidwalker quest I think). On the subject of the Darkness, not only is the void is not the Darkness, void Light serves also function of keeping the Darkness from taking over the space between stars according to the warlock Ulan-Tan. A bit of real world science: physics have shown that empty space is not truly empty, and particles pop in and out of existence all the time from the vacuum. I think Destiny's void Light is inspired by this. Anyway, cool video :)
Marked by the void, I am, consumed I was. Then I rediscovered the power and the joy of the hunt for the perfect shot. The thrill of firing those three flaming bullets from a weapon of pure golden light. For my true calling is the Golden Gun.
Black Spindle has an ornament named Cold Between the Stars. If the void is the space between the stars and the ornament looks Taken, does that mean Taken are part of the Void too?
What then of TItans who form shields of void energy? Their shields do not siphon life from those who enter it and can either help to heal or empower those who are enveloped in it. Is it then that the void reflects the Defender's desire to protect?
Wait so when a voidwalker uses the blink teleportation does he quickly travel through the void ? ( That would make more sence to how they teleport for me )
The void actually is addictive. Might sound weird but I always feel eager to shoot my next shadowshot when playing with my nightstalker and always feel kinda.....thirsty when my super ain't charged. SO GRATIFYING AND SWEET TO TETHER THOSE HORDES 😁😤
This has been a question I've had for a long time. But I'm glad I was right on one thing. The void is nothing. The space between stars. Also it is strange that so many guardians would fear the void. We do use weapons of sorrow after all. Touch of Malice especially.
Myelin Games Would the vex as a species be considered time itself? Given Atheon is "time's conflux," like the deep to the hive do they have time to use. If so can they use such a tool to do as drastic damage as the hive did with the taken? I just seemed to be confused. I am aware that the vex do use time in order to spread themselves out across infinite realities in infinite timezones due to the multiverse theory so what im trying to get at is- in relation to the void, are the hive an extreme who use the void, the vex the opposite, and us the middle who use a little bit of both. You also mentioned in a video on how in Oryx's throne world, time moves according to the sword logic, and how the mind Quria(sorry if i botched the spelling) broke the sword logic. Does this mean that they used time in such a way as to disrupt a whole reality functions? This all ties into immortality and other things but I won't waste any more of your time. But given you are the best person I know about this I was curious. Love the vids keep up the good work

I love this theory. It almost perfectly encapsulates the idea of the void and ties it into the idea of alternate dimensions. Great work.

Also, it is entirely possible that the Warlocks could simply teach the hunters to enter the void. It might not even be specific to Warlocks, maybe anyone can do it, but Voidwalkers especially because of their connection with the void.
point taken, but bladedancers can blink and they say that they learnt it from warlocks but they do not use the void themselfs
Drawing enormous amounts of energy from a vacuum. Sounds like zero point energy to me.
the Zero Point from Fortnite
I see the void as dark matter. for those of you who dont know, dark matter is an invisible type of matter in space that adds a gravitational force that holds planetary orbit together with the assist of an central celestial object like the sun. when the assist (sun) collapses it can change into lots of variations like a proton star or red dwarf. one option is a sun will die and turn into a black hole. a black hole is drawing all dark matter to it and then making the gravitational force so strong it even sucks up light . when the void is used I see it as the dark matter expelling all that it has absorbed out in a focused projectile like the void bomb or shadow shot.
Thank you for actually understanding what dark matter is and that its not just magic thats dark colored
This is my new favorite destiny channel! Great work, loved the Void Lore vid (1st one I saw)
I remember making this footage with ya! (I'm the Warlock in the video). Great video!
I love your channel man! I love Star Wars and Destiny, and I hope you continue to make great content!
well thank you sir
imagine you make a bunch of circles on a piece of paper, now imagine each circle is a universe, you’d still have empty space between those universes. I believe the void is that empty space
No love for the Titan bubble?
GEWB2105 heeeey now I'm wondering about how the titan bubble works.
Ulan-Tan says this in a quest step description:
"...If Light connects across space and time, what is the Void? What role does the vacuum-the absence-play? What stops the Darkness from entering into the places between the stars? The answer is simple: the Void is just another type of Light."
You and I talked about this on my channel already. I was trying hard not to give this away!!!
I stand by looking at black holes as the connection for the void. What do black holes do? Trap everything, even light, inside of them. But what happens to them? One theory: They're a big battery, and who the heck knows for what. Also, could be for space-time. Weeeee so many thoughts.
I agree with you man, I assume you just watched the context page. The rest of the video will explain
"In the void there is silence, in the void there is peace" -marked by the void
Oh I love this topic! I was waiting for this video and I already loved it :D
thank you sir
Have mained a Voidwalker warlock ever since the beginning of Destiny. Ive wielded both arc and solar subclasses as well but never found more enjoyment then that of the Void Nova Bomb.
Void light is honestly the scariest type light in destiny because its like its own thing and kind of like it is its own realm that you can draw power from and its like the neutral between the light and darkness
The void is light and darkness
Great vid, never really thought about the void and what it represents, and what it is... if anything
heheh right
Always been a fan of the void. Requires the strongest of wills to wield it and to not let it change you.
This video gave me goosebumps
i think the void is the line between light and dark personally and that the void users are like the grey jedi of the destiny universe
This is quite possibly one of my favort lore vid yet sure the story's of thron and the last word are cool but nothing beets the mystery's of the Void
Voidwalker by chance, Stormcaller by knowledge, Sunsinger by choice.
-Fallen Warlock.
And also that generally it's the high tier hive, vex n taken enemies that use void weapons.
Hey Myelin, I have a theory for the Void
If you notice, a lot of the grimoire states that the void is 'between the Stars' , now I don't know if you noticed, but Eris noted after you kill Alak Hul "may he go screaming back into the pit between the stars", could the Void potentially be an afterlife/type of thing?
Also could potentially link with her getting the Void sword stone at the end of the taken King quest line..
6:38 that's y I can't put down nightstalker in pvp I guess
seems legit.
What, the no fear thing?
Ky Wright or is shadestep???
I'm so happy I found your channel. Well done!
The void. Now for Arc and Solar to decode.
Is it just me or does everyone think that void is the most powerful element?
CombatRhombus 90 yeah pretty much arc in my opinion is second but fire and flame I get it but seems the weakest
It sure has the possibility of being so. Technically, there's more void in the universe than there is helium, hydrogen and other elements.
I agree... there is actually an item that hints at this being true and also implies that everything else comes from the void. It is the Nerigal Savant III which reads, "Into the void, the spark. From the spark, the fire. After the fire, the void." Sort of reinforces the cyclical nature of the elements
CombatRhombus 90 yaaaaaaaas
Considering a Nightstalker's Void Light can shut down ANY other Guardian's abilities for a limited period of time? I'd say so.
Marked by the void, as much as i would love to draw on its power more I can't help but wield my golden gun to cleanse this world of it's enemies. The flame purifies indiscriminately and there is a reason it brought the end of Dregen Yor.
I love your lore vids myelin, because of you I have bad juju and thorn and main voidwalker. Thanks for all your had work
Personally I had an idea where the light actually isn't a type of space magic at all but actually corresponds to the four fundamental forces in nature.
Spartan Kninja99 or it could be space magic... or that, or maybe a mixture of both somehow
Keithen Cook yeah I could've just read into it a little too much it was just something that was fun for me to speculate over
Spartan Kninja99 i read it all,an interesting theory
That feeling when maining voidwalker and nightstalker woooooo! Great video Matt, didn't quite get the void but this video has helped a lot!
Wowsers I'm right on time for this one
As I main voidwalker warlock I think, yes.
Arrik Haight Ikr people say Stormcaller is OP but I use Voidwalker.
Arrik Haight i thought we were a few
Thorn , The Resurrected Stormcaller is OP lol
thorn you suck. I have you. My friends were so pissed when i got it, and its crap.
destiny player Sure, the player always blames the Gun. :)
No joke RUclips made me I'm subscribed to your channel and I totally forgot about it and I just saw this video and I'm so happy I always wanted this video to come out to explain what the elemental damages is
This is my take on Void :
'Void'-- deriving from the word nothingness is a force to be reckoned with, the sheer existence causing a mere domiance to shadow over it's existent users.
I understand the feling of the void better than instincts
Love your vids man!!!! "Marked by the Void"
Day 1 Defender Titan, I'm in love with the void, it's truly addictive. Your grimoire video is awesome.
Marked by the void, for as long as Light still resides in this bow.
Toland was said to be a Voidwalker. Dredgen, too. Pujari, perhaps. Maybe the Void is as connected as you think.
Thank you! This video was very enlightening!
this is my favorite vid yet
In halo, slipspace(slipstream space) is also called the void. Its a smaller dimension empty but with 7 more dimensions and no laws of physics. Its kind of a web of strings between all matter.
I've never found it so cool to be a NightStalker marked by the void
I think it's paramount that we distinguish the capitalized "Void" and the lowercase "void". The "Void" is the place and thing that you're talking about. The "void" is just another way to say vacuum; the nothing between stars.
I was void Walker since vanilla after TTK I turned into a nightstalker ... I have been a bit twisted but I have grown immune to the void's affects •w•
My fav. Desttiny video. I subbed bc of this vid
great video, I'm loving the lore :)
I believe that the void represents a barrier, the darkness that holds back the light but also the light that holds back the darkness and is a thin area between light and dark in which we can walk, slowed, weakened, and being corrupted and only be the force of our will and our fearlessness can we master the void.
I love it when he says "welcome back gaurdians"
As a former defender, current sentinel I wonder why warlocks and hunters are little "twisted" by the void, but titans are not? Do titans just start with their twist, or is their "act now, think later" attitude a layer of protection from that twisting?
This video earned my respect and you a subscriber. The Void is most likely a mix of Light and Darkness. A hybrid amalgamation.
When an enemy is destroyed by Void Light... where do the go? Something to think on.
great video dude! keep it up!
We are all connected. All linked together like a big puzzle. We are all marked by The Void.
'all that is dark is not darkness". I think that the void is similar to the other types of energy and that it can be used by both the light and dark but is not directly connected to either, it may have some effects on those that use it though. The hive, worms and maybe the ahamkara are the ones that refer to the darkness are "the deep" as far as warlocks and most guardians are concerned the void may be dark but it is not park of the darkness which is actually sapient.
can someone link me to the questline for the Sunbreaker description at 5:58?
Great video. I do enjoy the lore of Destiny as I do feel it is slightly bended from the reality frame. Now I want to play some Destiny...
Black Spindle has an ornament named Cold Between the Stars. If the void is the space between the stars and the ornament looks Taken, does that mean Taken are part of the Void too?
The Voidwalker's bond states: "Others flee from the Darkness. Only we stare into its depths."
( That would make more sence to how they teleport for me )
Noob question: What are those glowing cuts in the walls and what are those things trying to 'repair' them?
Makes me even more proud to be a Voidwalker. Marked by the Void.
I think I'm addicted. Voidwalker master race
The void actually is addictive. Might sound weird but I always feel eager to shoot my next shadowshot when playing with my nightstalker and always feel kinda.....thirsty when my super ain't charged. SO GRATIFYING AND SWEET TO TETHER THOSE HORDES 😁😤
Willi The Sa Jeph The King true, even better when you're the warlock who drops a huge Nova bomb on those that are tethered
This has been a question I've had for a long time. But I'm glad I was right on one thing. The void is nothing. The space between stars. Also it is strange that so many guardians would fear the void. We do use weapons of sorrow after all. Touch of Malice especially.
marked by the void; love ur lore videos keep them up
Being tethered is similar to being taken by Oryx, but maybe the Void isn't dark enough to pull the tethered being into the Void or Deep.
