- In August 1985, 4 witnesses claimed Our Lady appeared to them at Melleray Grotto, Co Waterford, Ireland. Three claimed to have received messages from her. On August 15th, I led an afternoon of prayer at Mellerary grotto, and gave 15 little reflections on the main messages. For more on the messages, see The Curate's Diary, September 2020. My father saw visions in Mellary. Been there many times with him and I have felt an indescribable peace there.

So for those two intentions we cry out to God:- that our Church will preach the full Gospel and the reconversion of Ireland - and the grace for ourselves to do what is in our power to bring this about, in the first place by living lives of deep union with Jesus bringing His presence and His blessing to everything we do and every person we interact with.

Dear Father Thady, Greetings from the USA, where you're touching our hearts here, as well. I love your message from Our Lady today, that we need to pray more! When I returned to my hometown here a little over 10 years ago, life (or so I looked at it) and it's vicissitudes having riven everything from me, 3 relationships, 3 children, so many enterprises, 2 entire household of belongings snatched away without recompense, I wasn't a bitter person, but I was confused. There were days that I would just cry my eyes out thinking this was the last place I wanted to be, because there was nothing here for me. I'd tried years earlier through a most wonderful old priest in Grand Rapids, MI., who brought me back into the Church, to remain a faithful member, knowing for years that I'd come back but, once done, it would only happen if and when I knew I could commut myself entirely to Christ. Before this I really was a stranger to prayer. I'd never had a real prayer life--even when at age 19 I'd been accepted by and expected to enter the cloister of an incredible beautiful group of sisters...I'd no real reason for why the horrible things that {O and they DID happen!) drove me away were so effective in their harrowing divisiveness, I only felt alienated from anyone even remotely associated to Christ, AND to Christ Himself. I denied loving Him and ignored Him on an everyday basis. I was unreachable, isolated and determined to stay that way. But Our Lady, my namesake. She didn't abandoning me. She was with me throughout everything. So was Christ. All the while, little by little, she would put me in the way of this priest, or that old prayer that I'd then recall from childhood. I would feel endeared to it and immediately recite it to re--feel that wonderful exhilaration I'd had then and bring it back to this apartment. I did this day after day and time and a half again. Within a matter of a couple weeks or less I'd built a cocoon of prayers around that lasted for weeks! And you viewers need to know, that no matter how miniscule your faith is, one though sent skywards, to Our Lady, to Our Lord, I can assure you they're right there, right now, and THEY WILL HEAR YOU!
They will answer with Compassion and Mercy and an incredibly embracing Love that no one else can impart to you! I takes one word, ONE!
Come back to Him. While there's still time.

Yes I went to Melleray many years ago and what I saw was the celestial court many saints and I am convinced I saw God the father. Also a the trees disappeard and Our Lady stood on her own and behind her was a wall of ivory.We took pictures and on the trees when we developed them was a very ugly face. Yes our Lady is or was appearing definitely Amen and Amen.

Father, I know this was 3 years ago, but I’m just listening now. Thank you so much for your messages, and for the prayer to renounce Satan! In anger as a teenager I turned away from God, so much fighting at home. Satan came in, and it is something that is destructive in every way. I've never been to Glendelough but maybe one day with God's and our Blessed Lady mother's help. I have seen our Lady when I was a child and very ill and it is as fresh in my memory as it was all those years ago. Needles to say I was cured.

Unless you are a Catholic, it is difficult for you to comprehend Mary's role in God's plan of salvation. Thank you Father for this lovely video which taught me so much that I did not know before. I love finding you on utube though I am only learning how to use this tablet my brother gave me and this tech stuff doesn't come naturally to me. During the pandemic of 2020/21 I became stricter in keeping Sundays for prayer. When lockdown restrictions precluded Mass attendance in person, I felt the need to ensure Sundays did not become 'just another day'' and I made the decision not to go to the shops, or do online shopping on Sundays and ensure Sundays remained the Lord's Day. Like most other Catholics, I had online Mass during this time.

Fr the warning about people need to change within the10 years I myself and about 100 other people took part in the first walk from armagh to knock in 93 we were part of the cursillo movement in belfast the walk was for peace and justice for ireland it and that walk still continued right up until this year until covid put a stopped to it the main prayer during the walk was the rosary and by the grace of our blessed mother it will be back on next.year and the first ceasefire was called 94 and still stands to this day so prayer does work thank you fr for giving me hope that through prayer we can get through anything god bless you fr

Fr I also forgot to add that the derry cursillo movement started the walk from derry to knock then we from belfast followed there lead the cursillo movement our a great bunch of people but sadly not many people our coming forward to take part in the cursillo movement in the north of ireland but as I said in my first post the walk to me represented for myself giving thanks and glory to our lady of mount mellery and for peace and justice in the north of ireland I went to mellery before I done my weekend for the cursillo movement

Yes, but the postage is dear. In euro, 5.70 to post 10 copies to US and then allow 0.50 per copy. 36.50 to post a box of 93 plus 0.50 per copy, but parcel post is not currently going from Ireland to US due to Covid 19. To post a single copy is 1.70 plus 0.50 for the Diary.
Most but by no means all back issues for the past 4 years are still available, but some even recent one's are running out quickly especially as I didn't know how many to print during lockdown.

I was there in 85, I was 13, I saw our Lord Jesus Christ, I saw his heart, he looked angry, I've tried to reconcile how that made me feel, I need to go to confession, it has always been a heavy guild I carry, having seen Jesus I have sinned terribly, I would love for this holy priest to hear my confession if possible?
Many people had spiritual experiences there. I was once asking the Lord which of several renowned priests I should ask to be my regular confessor. When I eventually heard what Our Lord had to say it was, "Pick a good holy priest". It didn't have to be anyone special. respect for the Mass and the decline in behaviour can be traced back to Vatican II and the poisoned 'reforms' than sprang from it. thank God the Traditional Latin Mass and the Eastern Rite Liturgy is still offered in places, there is ALWAYS respect and prayerfulness. Dear Fr. Doyle, I am delighted to have found your videos quite by accident yesterday. I am from India and live in the UAE. Cradle Catholic. I quit the Church for a good 20 years due to various grievances against some of my Jesuit educators and at least one of my parish priests. As far as the Jesuits were concerned, they were what I understand now as - hardcore Modernists. The parish priest I mentioned lacked any sense of charity whatsoever except to those who toed his line.
I used to be the everyday Mass serving altar boy type in my younger days. Anyway, I came back after realizing that my faith was not about the priests but about Christ and His Church. But ever since then it has been a battle to stay sane and not get angry at news such as the one I just read at this website:
