O.o Along with the people who lucked out on the Trending page. lol It was aggravating to see those plots... the witchy faire was good but many aren't and they have all their nameplates finished now. I spent too MANY hours decorating my plot and as a semi-retired professional decorator in real life, I'm a little miffed at what I've been seeing and all the "votes" they have gotten. At last view I had 16 amazings as my top one. At this rate it'll be another 5 wks. I have a ton of rando friends which want to pop in to the real thing at any given moment but doubt they are looking me up to vote. haha This also has brought attention to the fact that I need a better guild/community as this is something that should be happening with your guildies. All that being said, I'll be sure to visit your plot~ :)
I don't even have 20 as my top number, I feel you!. I will never be a trending plot! the system just herds everyone like cattle into the trending plots and leaves out everyone else and I can't think of any way that that makes sense or is a good idea. I did find out that as long as TEN people have given you the same emoji, you can start using the coffee cup nametag right away - just go to collections and turn it on.
No shit, S6 did it again and introduced something new and made it as annoying as possible. Putting the "trending" homes on the start page just leads to most people clicking on them instead of the random ones like good citizens like you do. And this just leads to more points for the trending homes and less for the others. Who in his right mind does something like that in a "cozy" game?
@@krieglich Yeah, that explains why I have gotten so few reactions. I've been using the random button now too when I realized that first page is just the trending plots. Random page should have been first to give every plot a chance.
I agree but most people just don't KNOW - we have to let people know how it all really works so it is more fair and everyone starts getting views - I am doing all I can to get the word out there!
Ooooh the tour board now has a store. Oh you know I am going to be visiting all the discord devils home tours now lol. So thank you Mel for sharing all this new information so I can stay up to date with what I have missed out. The best and helpful videos on YT or anywhere else by far. Oh they have quite a few votes already oh wow I feel so far behind now and catching up is definitely going to be my priority right now hahaha. There is one cooler I do not have and I don't have the table. I bought all the beach towels from Zeki's black market and bought the recipe for the tiki bar and made it. There is another way to make tickets at the bottom of your accomplishments there is tickets for 50 plots visited 300 plots visited and a thousand plots visited

Absolutely - we have to try to help each other out since the way the tour board is set up it just herds everyone unknowingly into only the trending plots. Everyone else is getting so angry about it now that they see how it is working - I feel so bad for everyone, what a mess!
What's interesting in your video: "ladybugs tea party" is the first of the trending homes and you got sent to it after the first house. This would be a massive coincidence. So what I think is: you didn't change to the random screen before going to Tegula's home (but stayed at the trending screen), so what it does: as soon as you hit the "next home" button, you will start at #1 in trending and so on.
And this just keeps the "trending" ones trending. I really don't like that as the setup and wish they would run the three choices in the opposite direction, 1st random, 2 latest and LAST choice, trending. That would be WAY more in line with what this game is supposed to be about, I agree.
Is that x/50 confirmed that we earn the plate at 50 reactions? Because before you hit 10 the "example page" says x/10 and then changes to x/50. So maybe after 50 it changes to x/100. Wouldn't be surprised since it's S6 ...
There are HEARTS or whatever!!! We just confirmed that. So with 10 visits the nameplate you get o Sunday at the end of the first week will have like 1 heart or 1 star. If you made 50, it will have 2, and 100, it will have 3 or something like that - this is the rumor!
The tour tickets that you spend in the home tour store? Look in your accomplishments on your UI and see how many houses you have toured and left an emoji on, it will tell you if you did enough to get some tickets yet. I have 2 videos on this now since it is so darn confusing!
We were mostly all doing it wrong until you just happen upon some of the truths behind the mechanics accidentally....we are digging and figuring more out!
