Bass head garage is where you find the bass knob guys. It's pricey. I don't use my knob that much. I'll just use the head unit for that price. Great video Parker

Hey Parker. Quick question 🙋♂️ Do the wattage increases the speed of the sub movement? Like hp to a car engine?? Cuz I remember it didn’t take 5k watts to get a 140db or 1200$ speaker to do a 146 🤦🏾♂️
Hz is Hz always same speed movement,, but more power mean more excursion... for better score port tuning and box size are important thing. this subs likes lows,, box needs to be largeer and port low tuned. this single 12 can easily hit 150dB at 30-35Hz.
I got a 148.7db in the kick on 2000rms watt clamped. My system is way more efficient. Now I was running 2 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum subwoofers but still I'm guessing my 2 subwoofers are about the same price as this 1 12" subwoofer.
Would love to see you review the Ds18 Hooligan series. Been eyeing them up for awhile and have never seen a bigger Xmax at i think 58mm and for 700ish dollars seems like a decent deal if reliable
Hooligan subs are nice, heard a set of 4 12's in the ds18 hummer. Bass was nice and low. But 58mm is not one way xmax. Just like when i got my massive audio dmx 15's advertised at 62mm xmax both ways 😂 they were sq beasts.

I love the testing you do Parker. Very informative. Keep it up! I hope you don't take this as a big negative comment, but I did try to inform Vlad that this sub was not going to work very well. It's a huge waste of money for both them and the consumer. This is the consequence of letting a Chinese build house do all the R&D. Very unfortunate IMO, DB usually makes some very nice stuff.
B2 is nice. Ran a single rage v2 12" and was able to get around 142-143 Db on 1k in a 4.75 cu ft box tuned around 33hz. I have 2 but not enough power to run them both😭
You probably won't see this comment Parker but when using the SMD meter for long periods just keep pushing the on button every few minutes or when ever you remember to, this basically resets the 5-10min timer & won't shut off while you're testing, still annoying i know but at least you don't have to go through the modes again. Dam, I would have loved this bass knob! I just got my d4sound speaker bass knob with the volt meter on it. When you turn down the volume all the way, the switch clicks and turns off the remote out line. So you can turn off the amp. I didn't know it had that feature when I bought it. It was a black Friday sale and was like 40% off. My family just loves your videos, parker. Every Sunday, we sit around to watch your new video! Thanks for sharing, my man!

Question before hit me 150 decibel with 500 W is that the same as moving air in a truck or car with 500 W or do you need more wattage to do that because I have two avatar STU 1246 and I want to make sure I can move a small amount or decent amount of air with that power

This is the same problem I am having with my sundown u 10 v2 the magnet is almost the same size of the mounting ring. so to all the companies out here if the moto is too big for the smaller subs just make a bigger mounting plate or just skip that size woofer with that motor it's a big pain if u ask me and not Worth it .the reason people go with a smaller high powered sub is because of space but not at the cost of poor mounting design

But I had JBL. We had the power Series 12s that were oversized 13" and I picked up a GTO 700.1 that was only 2 ohm stable. Was doing those numbers in a trunk. Upgraded to ground zero, same numbers but triple the power. Same with a sundown setup. Moved states and haven't done any more spl since. Got burned out doing installs but thinking about doing a build for fun. Have things really changed this much?

Need to dissipate the wattage from somewhere more than spider displacement I guess. Indeed 4.5" on 12" is kind of overkill for sake of dissipating power. All sound can be produced within 1500-2000Watts.
I started watching him on my birthday last year Dec 29 and I can’t stop watching now and because of his build a while ago with Walmart subs I wanted to do that same and I put 2 12’s in a single cab truck with a 1200w amp at 1 ohm all thanks to him. Thank you for introducing me to bass.❤
Did you ever smell it any… every sundown I’ve ever had I’ve smelt and had to glue the dust cap back on them. Two nightshades and both of them lost the dust cap and they always smell I hate to say it I really do I bought them cause they were sundown I thought they’d be good and I’m not saying they’re not but I’m tired of smelling them… so I want something I can push and I know deaf bounce really tortures the subs themselves so I want to try them out.. if you was running nightshades already would you change to deaf bounce..? I’ve never used them so I just don’t know and after watching this I’m kinda being sold on them..

Just got a rage 12 v2 d1 myself. Breaking it in at the moment in a 2.9 cubic ft box tuned to 28hz. We'll see how ot does 👌

I know you are an American Bass fan. Can you do a review of the King 12 ? Looks like a monster and AB is one of my favorite brands.
Actually the better American Bass sub to compare to this is the Godzilla 12 which is 4700 watts RMS. The King 12 is 6700 watts RMS.
You should get one of those thermal reading, heat guns and when you’re pushing it, see how hot the coils get

Review the digital designs 2508 revision g. That sub is 1200 watt rms, crazy.

It's actually super simple.....you just come in thru the backside of the terminal, then you don't have to worry about wires sticking out.
I expected mire spl. Ive done that with 600 watts and 200 jbl sub lol. Way back in the day. Is it just thw vehicle?
Back in the day the spl score was different. You weren’t no where near as loud as that. Gotta think wayyy more motor force, way more power handling
