hi, our wife is finally coming and let me tell you, her damage makes me call her mommy. Firefly is a break DPS that does nothing without breaking em but the moment she does, hell is raised. I think the highest i've done was 1 million damage in a non-Simulated-universe environment which was busted. Expect her to do 400k+ damage easily. Her Eidolons are kind of op as well.
E1 gets grants 15% ignore def and makes it so enchanted skill does not consume skill points.
Her E2 whenever she defeats an enemy or cause them to be weakness broken grants her an extra turn 1. This effect can trigger again after 1 turns. Which is so busted lol
Yea. In fact most people generally agreed that her e1 is stronger than getting her sig lc because fall of aeon is pretty close and slowing broken enemies doesn't do much unless you're like 170+ speed with harmony tb and Ruan mei
Firefly can be said to be the strongest character among the break effects characters and that's true, she is strong 🔥

I havnt seen anybody else talk about quid pro quo on gallagher. actually cooked with that and i may have to level it now.
I don't think it makes sense, hmc and ruan mei will probably have enough recharge if built right, and firefly gets ultimate in 2 turns anyways, its a similar situation to using huohuo (would rather multiplication for more sp, breaks and heals)
In 7:15 it worked with the rng, but used the ultimate that late that it didn't matter, also in 10:05 even less

The problem with newer class is the break level cap with material and S1-S3 boss drop breakthrough.
Eventually there will be a new player coming around and need for at least a month to get the material for the latest character.
i'll definitely build pity on her banner. this is giving me nahida vibes (i you skipped nahida on release cue months of dendro meta that punished the previous teams) break is HERE and DOT can only carry ONE side of MOC.
i predict she will be more busted than acheron on release since her lineup/team is better refined. acheron catches up with release of jiaoqiu allowing E0 to use harmony or E2 to do some diabolical things

I'd say more like its Ruanmei that gives nahida vibes xd She makes all these break meta DPS cracked beyond believe, though as a break DPS, Firefly is also just god tier. Who knows if the meta will be shaped for break or not in the future, maybe they just say forget it in 2 weeks and introduce a new mechanic 😭
@@GodDoggos ruan mei is very much a core for break dps, but she seems more like the facilitator for it not its main show i guess that makes firefly more like alhaitham in that sense. tho i didnt feel that bad skipping him like i did nahida. i guess the more accurate explanation would be that she will shift the gamemodes like how argenti did PF, (more fire weak enemies with break bars and hp too massive for other teams to keep up with himeko) which will necessitate her banner more than previous units. tho people who skipped jingliu said the same thing about ice MOC that lasted a while too.

You should try a mono-fire team, with Galagher, Asta, Himeko and Firefly
From what it looks like boothill and firefly have their deffrent weakness, depending on your speed she can be better or worst than him as she has 2 turn cooldown on her ult while boothill ramps up for the entire battle and boothill will probably be more versatile in terms of team compositions as she cannot be used with dot characters unlike boothill ,overall she is pretty decent in my opinion but beeing destruction doesn't necessarily mean she is better than a hunt character by default as i am sure a lot of people think that way

i'd say get rm and ff
Firefly will be as broken as acheron, but you’ll need ruan mei for her. If you save you’ll probably be able to get jiaoqiu after pulling for rm and ff
At the very least you should get ruan mei no matter what and after that firefly would be an amazing dps to use with her but if you dont want more dps for now its also understandable. I would also recommend jiaoqiu but you still have plenty of time to save up for his banner.
Ruan Mei is arguably the most valuable character due to her universal application and longevity. Then, it’s Firefly, because she can be as powerful as Acheron(or even stronger, till release of better debuff supports), but only with Ruan Mei in team
You should get RM and Jiaoqiu. You has dps character for most content already, you're set for a long while.

no Gallagher is still better than Huohuo for Firefly , she doesn't need the energy at all . and the atk buff while it's nice , it doesn't outvalue what Gallagher does : break effect buff for the entire team / high toughness damage (to help FF break shielder faster) / High personal damage since he scales with BE and he has high toughness damage as I mentioned / he's more SP positive than Huohuo , and both FF and HMC use a lot of sp
No, FF really only cares about two things, break efficiency and def pen. Which is good because DoT still greatly values Huo Huo.
Soooo.... about the ever expanding list of mobs and bosses that completely negate weakness type or toughness bar break
welp i'd say there are still way more bosses and mobs that don't do that comparitively. I'd also be surprised if they ever make the meta fully immune to weakness type, that's just removing a whole mechanic in-game heh.

Most of them will have they weaknesses back after you clear all the add, and that is so easy with ff. Bootshill on the other struggle with that type of enemies
@@GodDoggos now that they've introduced a dps character with super break inherently built into their kit the next characters to have it are only going to get stronger and better. If this almost assuredly leads to a path or character balancing dilemma and with the amount of mobs we already have in the game that can just turn off their toughness bar I think they'll at least moderately go down that path.
She can easily break most of these enemies before they put up their barrier and pound them to death immediately therefore preventing this from becoming an issue; case in point: ruclips.net/video/DzVIK36iglk/видео.html
Only Bronya and Sam are the exception to this (as they have an innate weakness protection at the start of the fight). She can quickly dispatch Bronya's adds to uncover her weakness and then basically one-shot Bronya's weakness bar (as she has one of if not the lowest toughness out of any Boss type of enemy). Sam is arguably her toughest match up (ironically enough).

E2 Gallagher is the best since he gets a cleanse when healing. Maybe try to pull more on Ruan Mei banner to try get some Gallagher cons.
Get 1 copy, and then in the new chara selector get the E2
I'd say yep! It more depends on the rest of your team, if you're running E0 Gallagher with Firefly Ruan HMC, that team will likely just beat anything before they get to touch you much. Gallagher in that team will only be breaking/applying debuffs more than anything.
If the enemies starts getting tougher with debuffs on them, i suggest E2 gallagher or just use say a Huohuo instead, can't kill them if we're dead after all

1) Stellaron Hunter team (Kafka, Silver Wolf, Blade and OUR WIFE FIREFLY)
2) LITERALLY SET THE SEAS ABLAZE (Firefly, Gallagher, Asta and Fire MC/other Fire characters) Mainly because of Asta's trace Ignite which she boosts allies' Fire DMG

can't say much about Yunli as we don't really know how strong she will be . but Firefly is very strong , probably top 3 (if not the strongest) , but you don't NEED to pull for the strongest to have fun , you should pull for whoever you like/enjoy more

Imagine if they give her 100% Super Break. She could be a Solo Sustain DPS. Not to mention if she's paired up with HMC, 200% Super Break would be crazy. I wish they would buff her Super Break from 35/50 to 50/75, just so in case we need HMC in another team
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, HMC and Gallagher will be the first ones they try and make replacements for. Ones already coming 🤷♂️

yep tingyun is able to give energy even during firefly's ultimate, though depending on who you replace on the team it may or may not be worth it.
she can , but it's not worth using her over Ruan mei / asta / HMC , energy buffers like Tingyun or Huohuo don't do much for Firefly

I still think boothill is better in flexibility he works in dot teams (as long as Kafka and/or Luka are present since bleed is the strongest dot)and he works well with Acheron(he can add 3 stacks to her ult bar in one turn) both can function well without ruan mei but firefly is a sort of glued to HMC

09:12 It's not challenging. You just need the right team, the meta, in order to win. What you actually need is the money to sacrifice in able to keep up.
? There are buffs for FuA and DoT in AS when you break the main boss toughness which anyone can do. FuA buffs is when you break the boss it will accumulate all follow up dmg done before the break and dmg the the boss after the break. It is the same for DoT instead of follow up.
Ofcourse AS benefits the most to those who can break toughness bar fast.
08:38 there are buffs that suits other teams too shown at the exact same timestamp, not just "helping BE teams".
09:12 It is challenging where if you don't have the perfect team, you will have to utilize the buffs/axioms and boss guide to help you achieve victory. Obviously spending money getting the best team will make it easy, otherwise there is no point even getting new characters. But it isn't just "You have to get BE team to win".
Doesn’t matter. Pull smart and you will always be able to leverage all buffs.

What a lot of people here are missing in my opinion is that Firefly is pretty average if:
1. Enemies are not weakness broken
2. You are not running the same team (Ruan Mei and Harmony MC specifically)
Which means if you use Firefly, you immediately need Harmony MC. If you don't use Ruan Mei as the 3rd member, her damage severely goes down as well. Her kit is built to be using Super Break from Harmony MC.
She is balanced in a way that she only works for a very specific team.
She’s already been tested thoroughly during her leaks against a wide variety of including ones she should be disadvantaged against and she clears them all easily. This character is minimum top 2 units in the game right now. Acheron is not on that list by the way.
So, acheron is just better right. I am suprised no one is comparing her with acheron when doing comparisons. That just means acheron is the real busted dps😂😂😂
Naw we have calcs. And guoba started by calling her Acheron level. First day is always the solo showcases, but it’ll be hard to compare them without calcs atm cuz 2.3 content is heavily break biased leaving Acheron in the dust.
If it helps all the leak showcases I saw had FF wining in 2.2 content.

@@a.r5235difference is, archeon can use any debuffs, sometimes not even nihility char only, while ff HAS to use hmc while rm is very strong but shes still playable without rm as long as she has hmc. This kind of dependency was never in the game before
