Your camera is set on two nodes, by default AE is set to one. I spend 20 minutes trying to figure out why it wouldn't rotate properly. The details matter.

Good tutorial. Just one small suggestion. It would be good at the end to show the final rendering of what you’ve created. Otherwise we have only been able to see incremental stages, but never get to see what the finished product looks like.

Thank you for sharing this. Question - why did you pre-compose the gradient layer for the colour map? What difference would it make if you did not pre-compose it and left it as a standard layer? Thanks.

For the complex workflow I often use multiple layers. So a pre-comp is a great way to organize things
