Reverse engineer the firmware and make it your own if you want to be able to wirelessly connect them. This will require a good bit of research and understanding of firmware, reverse engineering, and your specific router models! Not an easy task but a great way to learn a lot very quickly.

@@beno.verbich7386 Depends on the range, anyway you can turn off auto connect for the extended router on your smartphone and the phone will automatically connect to the main wifi router (one with stronger connection)

Oth, i finally managed to connect my existing tp link ac1200 archer a6 as an extender and managed to connect my A6 wired to my cpu via LAN connection. Wow. I feel like a kid just happy. My headache just gone.

I’m pretty sure u can then it would just be a double lan connection.

As long as the cable is Cat 6 or cat 5e, length doesn't matters.

How do I setup a normal repeater that has outdoor and indoor antenna and connect it to an existing router? The repeater doesn't have a LAN port

I really need help my Wan light on my extender rounter sometimes it doesnt work when i pull off and on the light goes on but after 1day it comes off again. Im tired on pulling on and off the cable
You need a new lan cable i guess. And it should be cat 6.
When i did the steps i cant connect back to second router using wifi itself. It is showing error ip cannot be found.
try repeating the process and wait for 15 mins after completing the process.
