    The O.T. boot is possibly our most versatile boot design to date. O.T. stands for "Over-Time" meaning this hybrid work boot is not just meant for the "clock-in-and-out" days, but for the long hours, varied conditions, and last-minute hiking trips. The dual sport design offers an exceptional balance of agility, comfort, and support, making them the perfect choice for city or mountain terrain. The O.T. is lighter and more flexible than our Superduty but still tough as nails. Born in the heart of the northwest, sourced and handmade entirely in America, these all-purpose boots keep you moving anywhere, anytime. Each set of O.T. boots is meticulously handcrafted in our Spokane, WA facility using only the highest-grade American leather, NFPA rated materials, Vibram 100 Honey soles, and stitchdown construction.
    These boots are some of the toughest and most versatile handmade boots you'll find equipped with our *ASTM-Rated Composite Safety Toe (this rating meets or exceeds standard steel toe boot safety requirements)

    I love watching these videos - so amazing to see true craftsmen at work! Even more special is that I'm watching this wearing a pair of JK honey bison superduty boots after a long, hard, crappy day at work and my back / legs / feet feel great.

    Es una maravilla apreciar un trabajo a mano hecho por artesanos espacializados. Veo sus videos todas las noches y son relajantes, especialmente cuando el trabajo se transforma en un par de botas perfectas.

    I like an owner who still likes to work in the shop making boots. When I get a handle on some of my medical bills, I will be getting a pair of JK's. I truly enjoy watching video's of how cut leather becomes a thing of beauty and purpose that will last a long time. Very unusual in todays world where everything is made not to last.

    On there web site, but call the Reading location before you order online. But like I sed before, I would highly recommend trying them on before you make your order. Or if you truly have normal feet, you can do it that way too by just measuring your foot and making the order.

    Jk thank you!!!! My Super Duties are over 1 year old and still basically look brand new. I am gonna have to purposely start doing crazy things to wear them out so I can send them back to get resoled !!! Lmao I don’t think I can wear these out. I should have gotten these boots when I was in my 20’s. I got them in my 40’s and I don’t think I can destroy them

    Great video. And as a new JK customer I really like the quality of their product. But for anyone that is looking into a high quality, custom work boot for the first time and never had or ever owned a pair of Pacific Northwest boots before. Do your homework before making the investment. There is things I know now that I didn’t know and no one told me at the store and now I’m looking at paying $100.00 to cancel one order to place another order, with JK boots you just can’t add to the other after placing it. And for people that want a heavy duty custom boot that will work best for your particular working conditions. JK boots also has a Super duty 2.0 boot and a 2.0 boot in I think any of there models. Unfortunately for me I did not know about this until 2 weeks after I went to Spokane, Washington.

      I'm looking at ordering some boots. What do you wish that you knew beforehand?

    • @Jc-bo1uu
      @Jc-bo1uu 6 месяцев назад

      @@zachearley1906 I would highly recommend going to one of there locations and getting fitted and measured, and try one there boots to get an accurate and correct size. I spent about 4 hours in there store and I truly feel the time spent there was worth it. But win it comes to the boot ordering there is so much to take into consideration, like what you are going to do with them. If you have a screwed up back knees and hip, along with big feet, I would highly recommend you get custom boots because it’ll be worth it in the long run. You cannot put a price tag on comfort, durability and especially if it makes you feel better and takes the pain away. And you’re only paying about $200.00 more for the custom boots. Now, here is something that was not told to me until later on. If you want the extra protection like two Lyman patches on both sides of your boots and a leather toe cap for your steel toe or composite tow. I was told at the time that you can’t do the double layer tow cap with steel toe or composite toe that you can’t get that option with the safety to. I was bummed but it is what it is. But I was under the impression that the double lineman patch was OK and the order was placed. After looking over my invoice, I realized that the Linemen patch was only on the inside of each boot not on both sides. When I noticed that, I called them back and talked to a sales representative, and he informed me that if I want the leather tow cap and a lineman patch on both sides of the boots, I will need to cancel my order and replace the order for the exact same type of boot, but in a super duty 2.0 and I will have to pay a $100.00 cancellation fee. Now to be honest with you that doesn’t make much sense to me and got me a little frustrated and upset. In my honest opinion, I don’t see why you should have to pay a cancellation fee for one order to place another order for basically the exact same boot but you’re just adding a couple of different features. And trust me, after all the time that I spent driving to their location, taking the time to get my Fitbit just right, and not to mention, I even told the sales representatives that were helping me that money is not an option I want to get the correct boot for me and what I’m gonna be doing with it. And nobody mentioned anything about the custom 2.0 boots. You can’t even find that option on their website unless you type it in super duty 2.0 or 2.0 on their website. But I’m working with them right now on this issue and to tell you the truth I wouldn’t change from JK boots not another boot company. Win I want to Spokane Washington, Washington. To order my first pair of custom boots my plan was to go to JK Boots, frank’s Boots and Nicks Boots. But the level of customer service and the way I was treated in their store and how long it took for me to get sized I went with JK. And like I sed, even after everything I would do it again.
      And from my experience so far the location in Spokane Washington is really good on getting the proper size and fitment. But the guy I’ve been talking to in Redding California has a lot of knowledge about all the different features and options of all the models that JK boot sell. I do know if he can do the same ripe of fitment and measurements along with getting the proper and exact sizing for your boots at the Reading location. But I don’t know I have only talked to him on the phone.

      @@zachearley1906 but honestly, it really depends on a bunch of different factors. If you’re in a tough environment like myself and you’re really hard on your boots and the leather., then yes I would say the exact $150.00 or so to get the 2.0 is worth it. But if you’re not then I would say just a standard order will work. If you have a messed up lower back hips and knees, that caused you a lot of discomfort and screwed up feet and you need the extra support then I would highly recommend the custom order boot. That way they make your boot to your exact measurements and what you will need or in your boots.
