Thanks for using the bulky weight yarn. It really made it easier to see and understand.

So that’s what it’s called! I’ve used it several times, but never knew its name. I also made some hats in the round using hdc into hdc (like this, but hdc instead of sc). I didn’t realize until later that it made a pretty pattern on the “wrong” side as wrll.

Thank you so much for this information! A lot of flat waistcoats stitch tutorials do not address the wrong side, so I was mimicking a purl stitch on the wrong back (like knitting) and was obviously getting bizarre results.

Thank you, you explained everything so clearly.. I only like how the stitch looks in the round & not how in all videos I have seen that it is not as nice or the same when it is done with the flat crocheting.. so I tried something different & it works & looks exactly the same as when you do it in the continuous round .. you just have to finish off at the end of each row .. & start again at the beginning of the row ( a bit like when you change colours, you have loose ends on each side but they can be crocheted in when you do a border) that way you can use it for both ways when making a cardigan etc & the stitches are all exactly the same.

Thanks for this! I was struggling because the sleeves of my cardigan (which I crocheted in the round) where looking absolutely beautiful, but the back panel wasn’t looking as nice. Good to know I wasn’t doing something wrong

How do you keep the stitches stacked evenly when you are going back-and-forth for a scarf?

What if I want to do a scarf? How do you go back-and-forth and don’t turn the workaround and continue, do I have to cut the yarn all the time and start over again on the right side so I can work on the front V only

I was just saying how terrible i am at this stitch- I stitch it too tight every time😩Thank you so much for this video!! Do you think the streamline hook helps the stitch to be looser?

It took me so long to get this stitch right! I tried it out for the first time while designing a pattern for my book, which was such a bad idea to learn a new stitch with. 😂 I always prefer to use my streamline hooks, so I feel like it does help me stay looser. With this stitch, it’s always better to use a bigger hook no matter what brand it is!

@@EClaireMakery Well younhave mastered it! Thanks so much for the tip. I will use larger hooks.
