- In this video I will be installing dynamic LED lights in place of the stock rear bumper reflectors! This might be one of my favorite lighting upgrades so far! I hope you enjoy the video and this helps you decide if this is an install you want to do on your Civic!

Loving the progress! Keep up the great work!
Thank you sooo much!!! Hoping to get the exhaust on next!
This is pretty nice , very informative video as usual 🤙
Thank you so much!!! I appreciate the support 😊
Looks so good!!! Nice video
Thanks Zac!!! Love your support! I love them!
Fantastic video! Motivated me to do mine thanks to you!!
Thank you!!! I love to hear that!! What style did you get? Clear, smoked, sequential?
Awesome. I wasnt sure if i wanted to do this first time i saw it but after watching you i think now i will lol
👍👍! It was definitely more work than I thought originally, but happy it’s all finished now and I love the results!
Hello, have the same car and in the same color only in the Sport Line version. Is a great car. Love your videos, greetings from Germany !!!
Hi 👋! We are Rallye Red Civic twins! 🚘🚘. Thank you for the sub and the kind words!
I did the same thing to my FK7, except I get the kind don't have the blinkers, since I prefer blinkers to be in amber lol I also added a connector in between, in case if someday I have to take the bumper off, I don't have to cut the wire✌🏻
Overall, it looks really good, thank you for your video, your FK8 is beautiful👍🏻
Thank you 😊. That’s a good idea about the wire too! Thanks for the comment and wiring idea!
Great video and great mod, I own a 2018 and wanted to add this mod. Did not see in the video how the wires were routed to the tail lights. Didn’t understand how you spliced into the OEM wiring harness. Great video overall.
Hello 👋! I tried showing kind of pushing the wire up and through, but it’s all behind the bumper so it’s not easy to see from the front side. It’s very obvious when you get to that point as their is no where else they can go. Hopefully that makes sense. The wiring is pretty straightforward too. Just a matter of matching the proper color and function to the proper light. Thanks for the view and kind words! 😊
Looking good. So is the car
Lol 😂. Thanks 😊
I'm going to do the same but I want to try something that I don't think anyone has done yet. Nice video by the way
Thank you so much! I’m interested to see what you are going to do!!! 🤔😊👍
@@diznylnd I'm still waiting for my taillights then I'm going to install everything
@@LCDsim oh nice! What taillights did you go with?
@@diznylnd They are like the Hi Rev Sports V1 Tail Lights. But they come from China so have these at a better price than the original from Hi Rev. In the end I think they are all the same.
So happy you showed up on my feed. Instantly subbed. I have a 2021 and Ive just had my first oil change. About at the same amount of mods. Love the wheel choice, just did mine as well. I was also looking at the quick jack for my CTR and my wifes Miata. Which model did you end up going with if you dont mind me asking? Looking forward to seeing what else you do. Appreciate the videos
Yay!!! Thanks for the sub! Love you two’s car choices! We have the 5000lb set of quick jacks, they are worth every penny. I’m actually literally using them right now to sand the edges of my daughters from splitter on her s2000. It’s nice to not have to sit on the ground and be able to get the car up in height to save your back😉.
@@diznylnd I went to their site and I know I need to take measurements. I’m hoping I can have one model for both cars. My wife’s Miata has a much shorter wheel base
@@trancethan these fit our s2000, but I think it’s a bit longer than the Miata. Does she have an NA, NB OR the newer ones?
@@diznylnd NB I think. 2008. Car is mint. 46k miles. We do oil changes based off time not mileage lol
the truth is is that they have been incredible, the penalty is that in spain do no think k are legal.good job wonder woman, greetings
Thank you! You must have a reflector on the rear of your car here too, so officially if I don’t have a reflective item somewhere on the rear of the car it’s an issue here too. 🤫🤐😉. Our license plate is reflective in California though, so I at least have that. Thanks for watching and the support!
@@diznylnd jajajjja ok,
I recommend the OEM black chrome "civic" emblem to match the "Type" R emblem in rear from heeltoe automotive
That’s a great idea! Thank you for the suggestion, I’ve been trying to decide if I want to delete it or not…maybe the dark emblem would be a good move. 👍😉
@@diznylnd I have a blk 2020 fk8 myself and did the black chrome and it's the way to go (dark mode on). Great content 👌🏽
@@mybloodtype_r the all black is so stealthy 🥷. Love it !
Dang I really wish you would have showed the process for tapping into the wires there are really no other videos on this.
Hi 👋. What part of tapping the wires don’t you know how to do? I’m happy to answer any questions about the process 👍.
@@diznylnd thank you I was able to get it done! Just had to figure out where each one goes by testing them. Great video thanks for the content!
Luv your license plate :) , by the way would you have the link to the product you installed?
Haha, thank you! I ordered the plate 9 months ago and finally just got it! I ordered the lights on eBay. Just search sequential Civic lights! Hope that helps!!! Have a great day!
Hi there. Love your videos. But how do we connect the wires to the car?
Hi 👋. Thank you. You just splice each feature you want to use into your existing tail light wiring. You can test what each wire is with the meter. Hope that helps. I thought I had explained it in the video, but maybe not. It’s been a year I can’t remember. Have a great day.
Can you please show where to put the air jacks.
Hello 👋, I don’t really have a way to post a video or photo to this reply, I used the quick jacks putting on my wheels as well, you can go view that video and it might help be a good reference point on where I placed them. Hope that helps you out! 🙂👍
Hello
Just confirming, the rear garnish panel is held by tabs only. No screws inside the bumper to remove before popping it off? Basically you can pull it from out side with a trim tool. Thanks
Hi! Yes you can pull it from the outside, I just didn’t want to risk marking my paint 😉
I was looking at the bumper from inside to see if I can remove the panel tabs from inside. Actually for the Si model, we have mufflers sitting on both sides blocking some access. For your Type R, you have that shield that you removed first. Will figure something out 😅
Do you know if these would fit the FK2?
Hello 👋. I don’t believe so. These are for the FK8 and FK7! Hope that helps.
I want one. Where did you get it and how much?
Hi 👋. I got mine on eBay, I think they were about $20.00! Just search sequential civic tail lights.
Thanks for your help. You're appreciated
R they still working?
Yes!
@@diznylnd I heard that they don't last for to long😢
@@julienvial959 that’s a bummer! I guess at least if that does happen replacing them wouldn’t be too bad being that you could just splice into the old wires to add a replacement set, since that was most of the work of this installation.
