This Helped so Much! I Love this Product So Much and this Company, you guys are Amazing. Thank you so Much Guys! Very Helpful, Amazing Video and Have a Great Day! Thanks Again!
Hello does the shock absorber pegs , are they supposed to have those clear pegs and washer disks . Mine when got it only had two of them not four thank you
This Guy is great! DJI is trying to bring new people into this area and it can be intimidating. This guy is reassuring and very clear. I remember building my quad in the early 2000s it was lonely, confusing and there were not many people in the arena. Now it is a good sized business and making technological advances due to the increased revenue and players.
Quick question about the DJI Phantom 3 Standard remote: Do I turn the power switch on or off when I plug it in? The red light turns on when I plug it in while it's powered off, but when I turn it on the green lights show the charging level. I couldn't find anything online about.
I got a Phantom 3 Standard for Christmas. After flying it around the house for a few days, I ventured out to the back 40. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 5 phone with my controller and have connected them via wifi (I have not connected the two with a cable). The first thing I wanted to do was take it up to 300 ft and let it go. All went well until it got out to around 480 yards; at that point, I started to lose my signal. After moving the controller a little, and changing the position of the antennae to straight up and down, I got it out to 540 yards. At which point, I lost the signal completely. THinking that it would come back after 3 seconds (Return Home has been selected on the phone/controller) I waited. It had apparently gone into hover mode. I began quickly walking towards it and, only after it re-established a signal, did it turn and make a bee-line for home. I'm glad I wasn't over a lake somewhere. I deleted the DJI program from my phone, re-loaded it, and the updates. It still does the same thing. Would someone please give me some advice on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much.
+Mark Colbert connect your phone with a usb cord. the connection is stronger this way, you should get a farther range. Also, you may have been flying in an area that has radio interference. Find a place far from that. you should get the full range indicated.
+Jack Berry this is the standard not a pro or advanced. The USB on the controller is to charge. Never ever have j heard of connecting the remote to the phone via a cord. It's wifi. Same as my old phantom 2. Not one video anywhere on the Internet nor dji has shown using a USB from phone to the controller.
Get a spectrum analyser and see what is operating on the same frequency if you're in a built up area ignoring the point of you shouldn't be flying as a hobby within 50m of other people and 150m of congested areas, your signal is prob getting lost amounts a sea of wifi signals. Also make sure you have return to home set within your settings and not hover. Before you take off ensure you get the message "home point has been updated" this is coupled with a fast flashing green light on the back of the craft
I've reviewed what seems like dozens of videos, read articles, and finally galled the Drone Guru himself. My Phantom 3 Standard is connected via WiFi There are no other options. Secondly, on a good day, I'll get a maximum elevation of around 720 feet and a range of roughly the same amount - maybe a little less. I've purchased a couple extra batteries and a 32 GB disk, and I have no choice but to be happy with that. Granted, I'm jealous of the guys getting a range of 4 miles and even more jealous of the guys flying the drones capable of launching Brimstones and/or AGM 114s. I'd like to thank everyone for their feedback.
This follows the cliched standard of some tutorials, and might come off as robotic or overly cheery, but I guess the dude is just doing his job. It can grate on the nerves to some, but I found it really helpful to speed up the video to 1.25 speed, using the gear icon. Didn't really bother me then.
Question for anyone to answer. I have a Samsung Note 5 phone, works great with DJI GO APP, i also have a Samsung Galaxy tab 4 but it loses connection all the time, obviously i am nervous about using the tablet, why would the tablet lose connection? thank you...
The tablet would not have been optimised at that time for the app to function correctly. However that was 5 years ago, and the app has been updated so many times now that it would most likely function fine.
@@michealmission7890 you're most likely correct, I was just noting how unnatural his smile was. I'll give dji credit for their excellently written manuals & instructional material though. Many electronics Chinese companies don't make much effort to translate well. I get most help from user posts though because the drone community is awesome.
you need to speak to your technical support because they are crap nobody even knows anything about the drones you are talking to them about. unbelievable

Hello! I just wanna ask why I cant turn on the motor?
becouse you dont have a drone i guess? :D
When in beginner mode, you cannot start the motors unless your Phantom has a GPS signal.

+Jack Berry hahahah for real
+Camilo Jimenez First thing I thought of.
hahahaha this guy was cracking me up!
sweet - Im going to watch all the DJI tutorials at this speed XD
His way is very good indeed for non-native English speakers. Much better for tutorials with a broad range of viewers.

Not sure if my arms are big enough to fly this.

Nah, he looks hot.
@@michealmission7890 completely unnatural smile, too long, at odd times. He probably never flew a drone.
