How to do an Off Ice Single Axel⛸✌🏽

Hi my name is coach Erin, i want to make figure skating fun and accessible for everyone.
In this video i will give some tips on how to land your single axel. keep in mind axel are difficult at first and we all need some good exercises to train our muscle memory. Off the ice is best for strengthening your axel muscles.

Thanks; this is good stuff. I'm planning on taking an Axel class and it would be good to have some of this off-ice working ahead of time. With those arms, you have very nice balletic lines. Maybe I could use my large wingspan to similar effect.

I can’t land it in the back, it’s always like a pure single rotation. What can I do??😭

I’d say pull your arms and legs in tighter and try and land on 2 feet at first also pull harness when learning more rotation jumps is so incredibly helpful if you have one accessible to you I highly recommend this.
