Coming soon, hopefully, on a friend's RUclips page - he's got another recording session coming up, just after Christmas. Keep a check on his RUclips page - and check out the rest of his stuff in the meantime - I'm on some of his videos. www.youtube.com/@rwrinn
No. There was YOUR one on Retrofret about a year ago. At that point, I had a REAL hankering for a K-136 !!! Retrofret would only ship to me (in the UK, via UPS or FedEd) via an expensive courier, and not with USPS as I asked. Price seemed high overall - so I passed on buying from them. Bet you were not gonna get the full price. I hoped I coujld buy from you direct. Anyway, I got this one on ebay late last year, from another US ebay seller and it's in lovely condition although the neck is quite wide, and the nut string spacing was really narrow. To get the string spacing to feel right for the width of the neck, I had a new nut cut to even things out, so the 1st & 6th string were not miles in from the edge (like how it was !), and refretted. The string spacing on the wooden bridge was too narrow too. My luthier wanted to cut new slots on the original green painted bridge - but I persuaded him to leave it alone - and he cut a brand new rosewood bridge for me, to the same shape as the original, but with string spacing to better suit the wide neck. The string spacing is wider than any other guitar I own (over 20, including several vintage Nationals - but it still feels right, now). I am considering painting the new wooden bridge green - but unsure whether I could get the colour right. I replaced the tuners for brand new Kluson Supremes (19:1 gear ratio) but when I took off the old/original ceased-up Klusons off, the metallic green paint underneath the tuner plates was much lighter & brighter green colour - so the guitar finish has certainly darkened and dulled over the last 60+ years). It's a super-cool looking guitar, although not as easy a player as most guitars I own. Sounds cool too, I think.
Hallelujah!!! He lives and plays and still plays amazing. Fantastic!

It sounds fantastic, and you’re a great player. I’m glad you found a K-136 for your collection.
