Whoever is in charge of hiring and talent allocation needs to be fired. Like who honestly sees these people like Perk or Ryan Hollins just to name a couple, and says let's make them the future give them airtime.
Chris Paul was my first favorite player. Loved him on the hornets and clippers. Liked him on the rockets too but it was just a bad fit I think. He specializes in running pick and roll and elbow shots. He didn't get the ball enough.
The first year he was great with them but he 2nd year wasnt. His body counldnt take the rockets playstyle which imo isn't a winning playstyle but they did almost win with it
false. just cos the rockets didn't win the chip (should've in 2018) doesn't mean it "didn't work" or it wasn't a good fit. they just ran into GSW; no one ever came close to beating that team with KD
Paeng Camacho u weren’t paying attention then. It was clear that the style wasn’t for him last year. What do u think he was complaining about to harden and d antoni? He stated that he wasn’t a fan of the lack of ball movement and constant iso ball.. He is used to pnr, more movement from his off ball shooters and cutters. He’s used to using the big more rather than just forcing everyone to stand in a spot and watch harden iso all day. It wasn’t his style. When harden was out and Paul ran the show by himself, the offense was much more efficient. But with harden in the game, the flow of the offense took away what Cp3 does best and made him less effective. On top of his injuries piling up last year.
Facts all Kobe needed was for someone to run the offense & all CP3 needed was someone to takeover the scoring load late in game They would have been the perfect marriage. Especially taking into account their mentalities they would have 3 peated if they also had Pau
A true legend and my favourite player of all time. It's good to see him leading a team again, rather than standing behind the 3 point line as another player is shooting 30/100.
As far as all-time PGs go, CP3 is top 3 in nearly every important stat: 3rd best shooter (Curry, Nash) 3rd best passer (Magic, Stockton) 2nd best defender (Payton) 2nd best ball handles (Kyrie) 2nd best do-it-all (Oscar)

@@TheIcemanthomas money is money my guy. Chris Paul mid range out of the pick and roll is one of the highest efficiency shots in nba history so it's good company
Chris Paul's midrange mastery brought more to the Houston Rockets than I think he was given credit for. Only shooting threes and layups becomes problematic when the fouls you're fishing for don't materialize, especially on forced shots at the rim. Being a threat to score - from the elbows in particular - makes the pick and roll that much deadlier. Had they encouraged both Chris and James Harden to take those shots it would have put even more pressure on the defense.
I think a screener should get an assist point when the dribbler who used the screen makes points. Most of Paul's mid range jump shot comes from using pick. They are not the unassisted shots.
This dude got ahead 3-2 to the DURANT WARRIORS with choking teammates before he got injured... Then the next 2 games his team proceeded to lose two 15 point leads, one of those with 27 CONSECUTIVE 3 pointers failed. Only the rockets to keep forcing threes after failing more than 10 in a row... With him those 2 games, the Rockets would've had a chip this century by now, and as usual, CP3 would not be the one given the major credit for it... He a bad man tho
For all the people talking about CP3’s injuries, you’re stupid😂 he went half the regular season and has went healthy the entire time for being on the Thunder. He’s made the thunder team without Russ and PG a team that can compete with any and every team right now.
Love or hate him. He is the living definition of the point guard.
