He regularly outplays & outmaneuvers the biggest & best centers & PF's in the league, including Adebayo, Nurkic, KAT, Davis, Durant, Drummond, Antetokounmpo & Embiid!

With the sombor shuffle, you dont have to plant the left leg at all so that saves time thereby despite how slow looking his shot, defenders cannot react to it asap because he is already in the air instead of spending a split second to plant the left leg.

The best part for me is that in a lot of those situations the defence is rather playing very well. He is simply too tall to block the shot. I guess a lot of those defenders feel frustrated, as they did almost everything, and he still made a basket. It IS a killer move!

Not only does he shoot with only his wrists, his shot has such a high ark it is unguardable. In order to block him someone would have to be behind him and jump as high as they could, but the problem is that he’s such a lethal passer that trying to block him like that would be impossible.

The "awkwardness" in Jokic's signature move is that he jumps off the right leg and shoots with his right hand. A typical one-legged fadeaway is executed with the shooting arm being opposite the jumping leg, which is more stable for shot release.
