I would love to see you do a video on effective and efficient rotations during f2L; ones that are worth doing and why, and the best way to regrip while rotating. So many talk about being completely rotationless, yet I don't know if it's always practical, and maybe you could show why and the advantages of rotating and times when it'd be better not to rotate. Your videos are the best!
1st one is a bit iffy especially if it's last two pairs because you're setting up a BL case as your last slot, but if you're going to do it from that angle then your solution is absolutely best 2nd one with right thumb F' is fine though tbh (unless you're lefty like Jperm) 3rd one x' D' r U r' D x is cool but then you aren't saving two rotations (idk if i like this one) 4th one R' U F U' F' R works better for righty people For the mirrors 1 I like what you showed near the end 2 Probably what you did tbh but R d' R' U R F' ain't bad (i'm actually gonna write this down for myself later lmao) 3 & 4 are fine with what you listed Good video :)

For the last mirror case (F' L U L' F), you can re-grip your left hand to put thumb on top and use your left ring finger to push and pull the F moves. This trades 2 moves for a re-grip compared to the alt alg. It sounds about even or a little worse, but gives you a free glance to the BR slot, helping with look-ahead.
Hey j perm do you think that it's important to use R2 moves with pinky and ring fingers during OH speed solving. Can't we use only pinky instead of that?
Hey, J perm! In your «setting up you Cube» video you talk about putting lube on moving pieces. But how much lube do you put on in total? Is it on every single piece or just on one piece etc..
thanks Jperm very good tutorial as always! You've actually inspired me to make my own youtube channel so I can teach other people as well as make cube reviews!
what do you think of lh index U vs thumb pinch U in algs (generally LL)? my sune is faster with index U so does that mean I should always use index U or..
You can watch people's LL algorithm videos to see what finger tricks they use but generally you wanna experiment with each alg and see what works best for you. For example, I do my sune and my T perm with a thumb drag U to start off with.
I average at about 35 - 37 sec. I use up a lot of my time finding the first f2l pair after solving the cross. This is making it difficult to hit the sub 30 mark. Any help here. Also, what is your main?
I don't think that the cross-to-f2l transition is what you have to work on.. Of course it is an important part of each solve if not one of the most important ones, but in your time range I wouldn't put it on the #1 spot on your 'priority list'.. The most important things for sub-30 are (imo): 2-look OLL 2-look PLL Good intuitive F2L Things to look for: -Try to avoid as many rotations as possible -Try to insert your first F2L pair into a back slot / generally speaking, insert your pairs into the back slot if possible -Take your time to try and plan your cross so you would be able to do the cross blindfolded
I've personally been cubing for a year and i've got my time down to sub 20. all i can suggest is cubing a lot more often, practicing, recording and analyzing your solves (recognize your mistakes). I still use 2-look oll and pll and only know a few algs for LL. Try to get muscle memory for every f2l case, so that you dont have to think when solving. also, when finishing the cross, start looking for a corner piece and the corresponding edge. Improvement after sub 40-30 is really hard, so keep cubing!

I personally thing that for 4 th case you can just rotate y' and do the with F as set up moves. Main thing is b moves at higher tps r very very awkward and u can see tha pieces at the back also and essentially improve look ahead
Are you psychic? I was just practising this very case and wondering if there's a better way to do that fingertrickwise. I was doing the U thing right handed. Wow!... Whatever you do keep doing it.
How to recognise that pair if corner and edge is not connected? I move the corner over it's edge then I recognise whether it's this case or the other one. Help please
