The hot springs are amazing when it's pouring rain because the rain is slightly cold and the hot springs are so steamy and warm you up well. It's a perfect contrast. It's one of the most relaxing and cleansing feelings you can have. Not to mention how they perfectly infuse the pools/chambers/waterfalls with the natural elements and plants. Unreal experience that I'll never forget.
Since I am from Panama, I've never really gave it much thought about visiting CR. Panama has a lot of lushness wonders of it's own, but these thermal pools are really convincing me now. How amazing it's that!!!!👍
Costa Rica is definitely right at the tippy top of my bucket list. Hopefully get to visit some day soon! Great video Gabriel Looking forward to your next one 👍
I really like this grateful Gabe, who says "just gotta imagine the viewpoint" "lookign forward to the viewpoint even though there's not much to see".... *edit* and shirtless Gabe feeling for a spa
I am from Indonesia but I really like COSTA RIKA because COSTA RIKA is one of the safest countries in the world and COSTA RIKA is the best football country. 🖐🖐🖐
Holy cow Gabriel, you discovered paradise, that Bali place alone is worth the trip, what a great spot, thanks for the treat, love your style, no nonsense guy. Good job
About 10 years ago I stayed at Baldi for 2 days and it was awesome! Hands down the most relaxing I ever felt! Great memory seeing your video Gabriel...thanks for sharing.
Haven't commented on your videos lately and figured this location was a great place to start. As you've probably heard numerous times, I'm living my travel addiction through your work. Could feel your excitement for the spa and hotel, and the rainforests. Thats some reasonable prices for all those amazing pools and haven't seen your accommodation yet. Hope the new year brings quick action for safe travel again minus the quarantine requirements. I'm so ready for trips back to Indonesia, but may reconsider to something closer like CR due to your videos. Happy New Year!
If it makes your non-seeing the volcano plight any better, Mt Fuji here in Japan is similarly elusive with showing itself in full. Even on clear sunny days there is often only a small window of an hour or two when the peak isn't shrouded in clouds. Lots of luck needed with getting the timing right.
I have a friend that visited Japan years ago and while on a vantage point to look at Mt, Fuji he said everyone there started to speak very excitedly and he looked up and the cloud broke and between the cloud appeared Mt, Fuji!!! He took some great photos and told me that some of the Japanese people there said that it was rare to see the Mountain.
@@WillieDuitt1 It's rare when you want to see it, and kinda not so rare when you aren't planning to i.e. almost every time I'm nearby the area (including two days ago) it disappoints, including the time I climbed it and the clouds parted for no more than 15 minutes whilst I was on top. On the other hand, I've done some part-time work in a Shinjuku office, up on around the 30th floor of a building, and Fuji has been fully visible for each of the half dozen times I was there (albeit seen as very small, far in the distance). As the other guy wrote though, winter does tend to be the better season for viewing.
On the road next to the Tabacon hot springs. Cars parked along side of the road. Some hostels offer free rides there. Don’t leave valuables on the bank when you bath in the hot springs river.
Costa Rica is known for its incredible national parks, where tourists can enjoy some thrilling activities like river rafting, canyoning, cave tubing, and zip lining. The food is also really good and not that expensive.
Wow, I've seen a lot of videos around La Fortuna, I've even been there, but never saw that hot springs resort. Thanks for sharing, it looks amazing. Happy New Year!
Great video! Thank you for sharing my country to the world. I haven't been there since a couple of years but this video reminded my small but beautiful country. Keep sharing please!
Thanks for the volcano walk Gabe. Was there but only swam in the warm river at the side of the road. Lake Arenal is manmade for hydroelectric purposes. Many villages were flooded. If you noticed it has a green hue to it. Blessings to you. Happy, safe, prosperous travels in 2021.
Go to a snake zoo & learn all about how those snakes like the trees & hide well. But, probably avoid the most popular paths. You get to see all the poisonous frogs, snakes & butterflies etc. that are in the region.
A precarious bridge and going into a jungle to climb a Volcano.....just another day in the “office” for Gabriel. So awesome man! Happy 2021 Gabriel. 🎉🎉🍻👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Thats Arenal for you. I’ve been in that area for weeks at a time and never seen the peak. Then I’ve gone for weekend trips and seen it clearly with blue skies. One thing to note regarding snakes. Trail or not always be on the lookout. I’ve seen vipers along trails packed with tourists in Arenal National Park. Not all venomous snakes are on the ground either. Some of the best photos of eyelash pit vipers I’ve ever taken were in Arenal on a trail with tourists walking right by it oblivious to the fact the beautiful yellow venomous snake was hanging out on a branch right along the trail. Hopefully you get to see Arenal on a clear day. I’m supposed to be heading that way next week so I hope I do too.
Hi Gabriel. I have enjoyed your tavel channel for sometime and was glad to see you visiting my home country of Costa Rica. I hope you enjoy your visit and if you need anything while you are here please reach out. Keep up the great videos ! Wish you the best for 2021 !
Thanks for sharing your travel adventures. What a perfect way to end 2020! Baldi Hot Springs envy... Lake Arenal had a fabulous zip line through the treetops when I was there years ago. Don’t miss it, if you have the opportunity and weather permits. Happy New Year, Sylvia
Because of gabriel places like this will be recommended by websites like TripAdvisor. .. as top 10 places to visit in this year. Thank you gabriel 👍 👍 Greetings from morocco
WOW Gabe, the hot springs were other-worldly. I lived in that area of Costa Rica I would be there every week. It could qualify as a man-made wonder of the world.
We are just about to leave La Fortuna and head for Monteverde before heading back home. It's our second time in Costa Rica, but absoltuely love it here. Spent a few days in Tamarindo before coming to Arenal. Thanks for your videos about CR Gabriel. Your first video about San Jose made me realize CR is open for tourism and I booked a trip for the very next day :). Pura Vida !
I am from Indonesia but I really like COSTA RIKA because COSTA RIKA is one of the safest countries in the world and COSTA RIKA is the best football country.
Gabe so do you recommend travelling at the moment? Is it cheaper and less crowded ? Or is it too risky with the constant changing of restrictions everywhere? Enjoying these videos
What's one great resort! The one day pass with locker is well worth the $43. Glad you enjoyed that as I did just watching the video! Stay safe and travel on! Oh, and Happy New Year! LOL
Hi Gabriel, It's a shame they don't have a path to the Volcano see you can see that clearly, it would be a much better attraction. Those hot springs are fantastic what a beautiful way to relax and unwind and it wasn't even crowded which made it even better.
I was lucky when I visited.. Walking down the same street and saw a small eruption from the Volcano .. I was able to get some good pictures.. I wonder how common that is??? Good stuff as you walked by quite a few places that where great to eat
Your adventurous spirit doesn't make you think about some risks, but did you have an internet signal on your cell phone in that isolated area of the volcano? What would happen if someone suffered a broken ankle in that desolation? Especially when you walk alone
Nice tour. Too bad it was cloudy and rainy. No volcano view. Very fancy hot springs. No covid precautions so be careful. Enjoy your Friday. Happy 2021.
Happy new year Gabriel, stay safe btw the video is beautiful, it seems this country has lots of lush greenaries situated everywhere but I wonder that weather is unclear is it normal throughout the year because it's not the monsoon time.
Really appreciate the realism in your travel videos, hope one day our paths cross and we can share a beer.
Wow, that resort alone is making me want to visit Costa Rica. CR has definitely been added to my list
Go to Guate or nica instead
That resort looked like a dream come true!
I like Gabriel. He has went from a backpacker staying in dorm rooms in a hostel to a 150 dollar a day budget.
He has earned it.
He’s put a lot of work into it. That’s why. Hope he becomes more successful

Hey Gabriel your videos are great for getting me ready for CR..stay safe and keep travelling

Costa Rica is definitely right at the tippy top of my bucket list.
Hopefully get to visit some day soon!
Great video Gabriel
Looking forward to your next one 👍
You are a lucky bastard, Gabriel, to have your lifestyle...... but you created your own luck.
Yeah I kind of envy his free as a bird lifestyle too.
I really like this grateful Gabe, who says "just gotta imagine the viewpoint" "lookign forward to the viewpoint even though there's not much to see".... *edit* and shirtless Gabe feeling for a spa

That hot spring alone makes a flight down there sound pretty good right now, with all the nature surrounding it.
I stayed at baldi only once and i live here 😂 its a great experience
Good luck brother, welcome to my home country. Love your videos.
The best thing about La Fortuna is the hot springs. Baldi is a bit fancier than Tabacon, but they are both truly world-class places to soak!
Yes yes yes

LETS DO IT! what a great attitude to start the new year
I love your DP 😍
Just WOW the hotsprings fantastic!!!!!
Amazing the further you get out on the trail away from where most tourists are willing to go how much more pure things gets. Pura Vida Gabe.

Leaf covered sections of a rainforest trail, anecdotally, is a place where deadly snake strikes might occur, hitting around the ankle region.
I've really enjoyed your costa rica series so far mate. Happy new year and all the best to you mate
Wow so glad you did not miss those hot springs I want to live there.

The pools saved the day; they looked fabulous. The rest looked pretty dismal. Stay safe.
I hiked for about 10 days to use my imagination at Everest base camp. I know the feeling.

Great video Tabacon and Baldi are my 2 fav Hot Springs in Central America
Epic find with those pools, sir! I'm wondering, does your T-Mobile plan work ok in Costa Rica?
wow that spa !!
That hot spring spa looks amazing!!!!
I’ve been debating going back to Costa Rica and the more I watch the more I was to go back!
Hi.. Gabriel.. Amazing video.. Mille Grazie 🍀

I really wanna travel to CR in maybe a month or two , being shamed for considering travel during covid tho . Conflicted conflicted conflicted :/
just do it
JUST WELCOME
