I see, good to know. The water wasn't that hot and it was crowded so I wasn't compelled to stick around for long, plus it was getting a bit late. Next time I'll have to explore a bit further. By the way you get a mention in one of my videos, not the next one but the one after that, when I go to Brasilito beach.
As a Costarican, I got to experience the volcano 🌋 when it was very active and not yet a National Park. Some friends and I thought it would be cool to climb a bit on the side of it. When we had climbed maybe a third of the way; we heard a huge explosion. I remember seeing a smoking boulder flying way over our heads and quite a few more boulders rolling down, close to the top. We scrambled to cover ourselves from the rolling rocks, as we heard them coming down. Thankfully, they didn't reach us. We were very quick in getting back down to the base of the volcano. The other interesting thing was the lava fields at the base, you could hear rocks being pushed out of the ground, it sounded like porcelain falling on rocks.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me
I was fascinated by what the British lady was saying about the attempts to turn Costa Rica into a milk and cheese producing location... gladly that didn’t work out. 🙌
Hi Gabrial, around 2002 myself and two friends turned uo la Fortuna. my friends wanted to stay at the bar, but i pursueded them to go and see the Volcano in the evening. As we a rrived in the dark moulton laava was runniing down around the volcano. People had been camping for 6 weeks to see this specticle. We also went in the cheap hot springs, complete with frogs. We were on a budget. great memories.
Very cool, it must have been quite a sight. I saw active lava flowing from the volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii years ago, at night, pretty incredible.
What a great video Gabriel! The previous teasers you put out were also, but it’s nice to see it all together. Looks like a fantastic country to visit and lots to see. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Oyi....the band of coatis are the highlight, great score Gabriel! 💞🦝 the best part of CR are the wildlife and plant life. That sweet lil pup wanted to play so bad😂 monkey wasn't having it!🐒 another fabulous vidddd. Thanks G, enjoy your time n stay safe! Until next time my friend✌
In case you don't know or haven't been told, an old town lies at the bottom of Lake Arenal. Sometimes during the day you can see a kind of spire from the old church resurface.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Also, don't ever again submerge your face in untreated hot springs anywhere, last year, a couple people died because of brain eating amoeba that enters through your nose, and they live in hotsprings.
Gabe, Thanks so much for living the beautiful life you live and sharing it with us. I REALLY appreciate it. Throughout my life I have vacillated between people I admire, and today - during this period of my life; you most closely embrace the way of life I aspire towards the most. Thanks for being you! -j
Nice jungle tour. The butterflies were amazing and the insects and frogs. She was pretty knowledgeable. Funny having a Brit there. She sounds like a traveler too. Now I am starving seeing your dinner. Stay safe. Not too many with masks. Enjoy your day❤
Costa Rica is known for its incredible national parks, where tourists can enjoy some thrilling activities like river rafting, canyoning, cave tubing, and zip-lining. It will be a fun adventure going to Costa Rica
A volcano is a spooky place to live near. Before I moved to the Philippines I read about the big Taal Volcano destruction ,it was insane what it destroyed. It was the same volcano that erupted a year or so ago. That would take a long time for that shock to subside for the locals.
This is so cool to watch Gabe. You are going to all the spots I went to. That local hot springs was so busy when I went as well. Can't wait to go back.
Aww man this brings back so many memories I was there in July of 2019. The drive to La Fortuna was awesome! Baldi Hot Springs was an awesome place to visit. The butterfly reservation! Costa Rica has such a relaxing feeling! Happy Travels!
Gabe, that butterfly isn't an "Owl".... It's a Snake-Head butterfly, pause in on one and really look. In all my travels, that is the crazist thing I've ever saw!! Went to a similar place in Machu Picchu Pueblo.
If you haven't, I also would consider visiting the Poás and Irazú volcanoes. Contrary to Arenal, there is a good climb to them and you get to see their craters, weather allowing. Can't speak for Turrialba Volcano as I've never been there; or to the Miravalles one (which is nearby-ish to Arenal) as I've only been to its skirts back in 2000, and it was getting dark (we got close to the geothermal plant, though).
Hunting is against the law in Costa Rica so that's not gonna happen. Costa Rica preserves nature at the most, actually hunting is not well seen here for most population here, like 99%.
@@charlitocr5209 I chose the wrong verb, searching I should have used, but in my vocabulary hunting means searching...not killing..thats the last thing I would do is kill animals
Oooooh i loooove butterflies, this video made me sooo happy ...iiiiii ❤️❤️❤️ There is a Schmetterlinghaus in the very centre of Vienna. It's just like in a fairy tale for me :)) but it's so hot inside, buuuh! And first time when i see coatis was in a small zoo near my city...never know they exist before :)) sooo cute!
Hi Gabriel, Not for nothing but I would like to know what impact do butterflies offer to the environment? Are they like bees? Coatis remind a bit of cat's the way they have their tails positioned.
Great Video Gabriel....Aren't column ants fascinating to watch? Spent many a happy time watching them on Crete. Nice moment in the hot springs when you go exploring and the water music plays. Thank you. We are locked down in Scotand but the weather is beautiful, blue and frosty!
the poison dart frogs lose their potency when they are in captivity. i dont know where they get their venom from but they do lose it when they go captive. they use to sell them here in Florida at the herp shows and they were not venomous.
Wowww what a nice cute adorable coati 😍😍❤️❤️😍😍☺️☺️☺️ I love small animal like that and I love the Butterfly botanical garden and nature 💕💕😍😍😍 thanks again sir Gabe for your nice walk around tour road trip there in La fortuna Coastal rica take care keep safe Godbless u from your solid fan viewer from the Philippines 🇵🇭 sir vhin 👏👏🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍👍🙏🙏
I enjoyed this vid so much Gabe. Beautiful, interesting, and very colorful. That chick was very interesting for sure. Be glad your not home right now, so restrictive (covid) and politically insane.
so cool that you made it to those hot springs. the water gets hotter as you go upstream... and usually more secluded too

Those tiny animals are so cute with their brushy looking tails. It's like a squirrel dog almost

I almost twisted my ankle at that free hot springs place. Really slippery. Wear water/hiking sandals if you have them

Looks like Costa Rica is huge, free open air zoo
Wouldn't bother me paying those slightly high entrance fees if the money is going towards conservation of these valuable habitats.
Nature, animals, hot springs, more!
Gabe you had this video clip on you tube a few days ago but loved seeing them again so cute
Excelente, muy entretenido. Gracias por la creación de contenido del vídeo y la calidad del trabajo.

Food looks delicious. How much did it cost? Was told those animals at the side of the road are called Mapache in Costa Rica.
Alguas especies de Coatis o Coatimundis son conocidos como Pizotes en Costa Rica, especialmente los de nariz blanca.
that's wrong, raccons are the ones known as "mapaches" in Costa Rica. Like Fredericj says, "Pizotes" are use to refer Coatis

27:31 looks like some kind of a brown animal on the ground behind that sign.
I liked the comment that blue berries (psychotropic ones) aren't so nice to eat, so what about the after images, I wonder.

So those frogs can kill you if you they touch you??
It sounds like they won't kill you but could make you sick. If you ate one then you'd be in real trouble.
