Charlie the ChainBaker sent me over to your channel - and I'm very pleased he did! I'm impressed with your attention to detail, the finished lollipops are amazing! I've just watched your Rosehip Jam video, that's a good one too. I'll be back! xx
Thank you very much for the support. I recommend checking our the Fruit Caviar Video and Lemon Curd video. I am pretty happy with some of the shots that I did to capture the process.
I have one lollipop a day and I have to try this. I had no idea this could be done at home. What a revelation. Could anything be added for tartness for certain flavors?
Yeah, when the gun wasn't warmed up, the sides crystallised and hence that is how I got the bad lollipop as well as when I didn't bring the lollipop syrup to the right temperature. Also, with filming and worrying about pressing the record button, I also forgot the sauce gun was hot and just grabbed it. Regrets, then I put on gloves the next time round.
Not really. I like watching How It's Made videos and noticed that candy is dispensered in a similar but in automatic machine, I wanted to replicate the process without the need to use a spoon and go back and forth to spoon the liquid. I find use a sauce gun easier to control than to pour the liquid from a pot.
@@AveryRaassen I've watched many episodes of how it's made and many videos on candy making and you're the first person to use this genius level idea for the metal sauce gun

ChainBaker didnt disappoint us recommending your channel. Your videos are super high quality and I like your explanations. The only downside is me getting fat if i reproduce this kind of things (I already eat too much bread :)) ).
@@AveryRaassen maybe you can find some nice recepies, but healthier. Less added sugar and fat. There is a chance that people would be more interested in this sort of deserts. Its more of a sugestion. You're a lollipop scientist! 👨🔬Awesome video 😎
I'm watching because of you!
I adore the amount of care and detail you put into making these. They look so good!
Thank you for the support! They were amazing. We couldn't eat too much. We passed most of it to our neighbours.
Can I be the one vegan friend, please? I love your enthusiasm, who needs kids when you keep your child like excitement for life and sweets!
fascinating
Fascinating! Thank you for making and sharing this video.
Thank you for the support
I like how you just straight up said these are way too good and nice to give to kids to enjoy. Give them some bagged candy lol

Avery, I just ordered Sakura (Cherry Blossom) ingredients from various sources - perhaps in time for Valentine's day....
That is such a good idea!!! I need to start thinking of Valentine's day as well for my work.
wow that f-bomb came out of nowhere lol, i’ll definitely try this the next time i feel like making something special.
Sorry about the f-bomb but sometimes I can't help but swear when it either looks good or taste good. Also, becareful when making it.
@@AveryRaassen no need to apologize i thought it was hilarious.
Thank you 😊 you are awesome this will help me a lot for my handmade lollipop business. Insha'Allah ❤
I am glad you enjoyed the video!
@@AveryRaassen would you like to share more tips for making perfect crystal clear lollipop?
@@BabaBaba-vm7ln Don't use pulp from fruit. Make sure to brush the side of the pot with water when making a syrup. Work quick but safely.
@@AveryRaassen thanks 😊 can you make one more video on Lollipop?with artificial flavour
@@BabaBaba-vm7ln I can show you a video I trust. Oh Yum with Anna Olson - Professional Baker Teaches You How To Make LOLLIPOPS!

Just be careful when making it. You could add a secondary flavour to counter the tartness.
Ooow I was about to send this to my niece, then I heard the f'in sexy, glad I watched it all first.
Sorry about that but sometimes good food make you say that.
I'm new here, chainbaker sent me
Welcome!! I hope you enjoy these videos/ food projects.
@@AveryRaassen oh I already have. I watched the banana jam video and the fruit caviar video
You went past "above and beyond"
I think that was one of my most ambitious videos I have made
Could your berry essenses be used to flavor lollipops?
It may not be strong enough. But also instead of the water in the syrup, you could use the Berry Essence
😋💖 Delicioso 😋
Thank you for the support!!
Did you learn about heating the sauce gun in the oven the hard way?
Yeah, when the gun wasn't warmed up, the sides crystallised and hence that is how I got the bad lollipop as well as when I didn't bring the lollipop syrup to the right temperature. Also, with filming and worrying about pressing the record button, I also forgot the sauce gun was hot and just grabbed it. Regrets, then I put on gloves the next time round.
@@AveryRaassen did you come up with this idea yourself? To use a metal sauce gun to dispense molten liquid candy
Not really. I have seen this when they do Chocolate or Ice-Cream dispencing so I figured why not a really hot version of the same principle.
