Winter is depressing for me, and finding your video has made me feel hopeful for this year to be better. You made slowing down seem comforting and renewing. Thank you. New subscriber.
What a delightful and comforting video! The food looked absolutely delicious, and your chat was so pleasant. The only thing that could have made it even cozier would be an active fireplace. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you once again Holly for such a comforting video. I really feel it on the Party Season as because of a inner ear problem loud music, and noise cause me so much discomfort. People wrongly assume because I do not attend certain events I am miserable not the case at all. So thank you for saying do not feel obligated to go to these things. I love to just stay quite and keep away from them so your reassuring words has helped a lot. Bless you Holly ❤
I do enjoy this time of year..cosy nights, yummy food, going to bed early with a good book. Wrapping up well on a sunday walk, then coming home to a slow cooker dinner. By february I am ready for spring especially when the spring bulbs start poking their heads out. Lovely vlog today and the pasta looked scrumptious, i always fey my sage in a little butter until crispy so tasty.
Absolutely, they're truly some of the best little things ✨ I believe fried sage is meant to be delicious too, I must give it a try 😋 Thank you for watching! ☺️
The end of the year is always very difficult for me. I am chronically depressed and the end of the year makes it even worse. Although I do love to put on the candles and cuddle up in the evening, during the day it’s so hard for me to get anything done. And because of the weather (I live in the Netherlands so weather is just as lousy as in the UK) I feel kind of trapped in the house. I haven’t been celebrating Christmas already for the last 10 years but I just do what I can do in my home. So I read a lot and try to be creative with home made cards and most of the time I have a Jigsaw puzzle on the hobby table on a separate board so that I can take it off the table when I want to craft. It is what it is and we can’t change anything about the weather or the light anyway so we just have to wait for Spring again.
I definitely struggle at this time of the year - it is the lack of light and not being out in nature as much, even thought I have taken steps to try and tackle it this year - but this week has been a struggle. I do enjoy the cozy evenings, nice PJs - curling up with a good book & taking it a bit slower.
Yesterday I visited the channel to check the new update and thought to msg you about the next video and now it's here, after a long gape By the way it's super cool
Oh Holly my little pajama queen..each season is meant to give us the opportunity for new experiences and when we fight against the natural flow of life I believe we can miss out on what was meant to be a wonderful thing for us and just miss the meaning completely but if you embrace what each season gives you’ll find that each one was made for a purpose and is very important for our whole life system …wintertime is a when life hibernates and has a chance to recharge and even transform kind of like a caterpillar getting ready to turn into a butterfly so there’s really no need to worry about not being productive enough because it’s not the season for that now you’ll have plenty of time for productivity when spring comes…love you my friend and thank you 🙏 for all the wonderful videos you are and always will be the best….& you know I can’t leave without saying how beautiful you look ..
Holly :-) so good to see you again ❤ beautiful video. That pasta you made is truly a work of art! Looks so delicious, I've made pasta before but it's never looked that good lol. Winter can be hard, but where I live we've had some dry, hot, and kind of foul days which I've found unpleasant that I was almost wishing for winter again. I've always found December to be the most beautiful month, truly a time of rest, because of Christmas of course, and it's my birthday as well lol, on the 30th of December. I have learned about some of the things going on in the UK at the moment, and I have sincerely been hoping and praying you're ok. By the way, your hair looks really beautiful in this video :-)
Thank you Stephen, I hope you're doing well ☺️ So glad you enjoyed and definitely give the pasta a go if you can as its very yummy 😋 The complete opposite of us here in England, I do miss the sun but of course the heat brings its own difficulties so I hope its not too taxing for you 🥵 Aw you're a Christmas baby too! It certainly is a special time of year! 🥹 Thank you for your kind words and support as always, sending my wishes to Aus! ✨
@lagomholly Thanks so much beautiful Holly :-) ok I'll give it a go soon, I know you always leave recipes in the description :-) and I always enjoy your videos. I can definitely understand you missing the sunny weather, I don't think the sun would be too scorching in England. Here in Australia we have a real danger called bushfires, you've probably seen it in the news at one time when we had some very deadly bushfires during summer, I've seen the sky orange and red filled with smoke like the apocalypse, that was a long time ago though. You're a Christmas baby too? That's cute 😋 and all good lovely Holly, sending my wishes to the UK :-)
Do you have any tips to beat the winter blues? ⛄
I've added my speedy butternut pasta recipe to the description too! 😋
Honestly for me it is good Christmas movies or shows 😌 along with any warm beverage! 😍
@@jyotsna_tiwarisounds rather perfect to me☺️✨
Beautiful kind-hearted soul, thank you.
The white cottages are charming and so are your videos
