@@DD-bx3gm Oo nice. One of my dream bikes. Only riding i've ever done in that area is Rowher Flats off the 14 and a fireroad way up in Angeles Forest. Mt. Gleason Rd. or 3N17. You'll find it if you google Pacifico Mountain Trailhead. And I want to say there are sections of it that take you all the way to Kagel Canyon. But not sure if they are closed off or not. It's too bad there isn't more riding in the foothills of LA. So much land.
It's such a cool road. I'm trying to plan a ride where I go all the way around through Johnson Valley and maybe up Coxey Rd. Camp one night in Fawnskin. And then back into Joshua Tree on this road. Just need Big Bear to warm up a tiny bit.
I just rode it all the way to big bear last weekend. Slightly muddy in some spots at the top. But I know they got some snow on Tuesday up there. Should be perfect by this weekend
@@poundermonster oh really? I rode it on the 18th. There was a road closed sign on the big bear side but not down in pioneertown. But we rode right back into the forest road on the way down. Wasn’t completely blocked
Great ride. Keep posting!
Love those exploring types of rides. What kind of mount is that for your gps?
The fairing is made by Adventure Spec. That's what accepts the mounting hardware that came with the Garmin.
Thank you very much. I have a Garmin XT2 on a KTM EXC-F 350. I live by the Foothills in Sylmar and can't find a trail without a locked gate.

Oh great. I appreciate the info. Mt. Gleason is in the Sunland area. Kagel Canyon is next to Sylmar. I'll have to take a test drive. Thank you again.
Looks like fun! I grew up in Redlands and rode trails through Mentone to Big Bear. I suppose they are all built up and gone now.
Nope they still there
thanks for the video, I want to loop this tail in for one of my future rides

Cool channel man
Killer content keep it up
I though this trail was closed! No problem to get in?
I entered from the bottom since I was coming from Joshua Tree. No problem getting in or back on to the trail from Big Bear
The cave wasn’t the sound of wind.
Great video! Does anyone know if the trail it's open?

@@MichaelKarapetian I was reading on the forest website they closed it on the 18th of this month. What day did you ride?
