Any chance you have the route saved as a GPX? I would like to try and prepare for the 2024 season and would like an idea of what sections they're having you guys take. I've gone through White Mountain, John Bull, Gold Mounatin, and headed through cactus flats and north east to rattle snake canyon.
I don’t have it saved, but it’s easy. Every hard trail up there, and some of them twice 😆. Gold mtn., White mtn, John Bull, Holcomb creek, devils hole, 38 special, Radonda ridge, Malcom Smith are just a few that should be on your radar. Good luck next year!
Looking to buy beta 500 rr s soon, and im right around the corner from you in Apple valley, is it a pretty good bike for the area? couple of my friends think the 390 might be a bit more practical for some of the tech stuff but i figure for riding out to johnson valley it looks like it would be a better fit for doing it all
Depends on the type of riding your doing. Desert and some street riding a 500 will be perfect. It would be fine up in Big Bear too. If you were looking at technical single track a smaller bike might be the ticket.
Are you attempting again this year? I’m riding this for the first time this year. I have a few questions. You seem to highlight the fun trails. Are you editing out a lot of the two track and placement? How much of the 200miles are service roads and pavement? Thanks!
There might be 10 miles of blacktop at most. There is a lot of service road and single track. My video shows the hardest parts. It is difficult. Last year 300 entered and 60 finished.
@@hannonenduro Yep, you’re much better off to go around stuck riders. It simply takes more energy to get going again. Plus you won’t get stopped behind that rider again. It looks like you had a reasonable pace to complete the run. Keep at it and you’ll bring home a plaque! GL
Man, that is brutal! You bare NO shame. You are tough as nails and that wassome awesome riding my friend,
Thanks! It is a challenging ride for sure. Maybe next year we get it done!
Good riding. Next year you will get it.
Thanks!
Cool ,ride cool sand love this stuf
It’s a great ride. Maybe next year we get it finished!
I was told that the event has an easy and a hard route,, I am hoping this is the hard route,, I am planning to try it this year on June 22
Yup this video is the hard ways. Maybe I’ll see you on the trail! Good luck!

@@hannonenduro nice! Ok. Hope we both finish this year!
Good luck and maybe I’ll see you there!
@@hannonenduro yeah maybe at the banquet. I’m in one of your LAB2V videos. I’m talking to you at the calico steps.
Looks rough!
It is, but it’s a great time!
What about fuel? Are you finishing the course until the next fuel station?
I barely made it to the first gas stop. I’ll be installing a bigger fuel tank for the 2024 event for sure.
I noticed you politely stop when someone ahead of you stops. Is that being nice or taking a quick breather?
A little of both. It’s a huge waste of time though. I need to not do that next year if I want to finish this thing!

Sorry, that didn't even look fun. That was just a desert race, requiring tags. How did you get CA. to let you ride a 2t DS?
I just didn’t ask permission😬
