Clearly McKeehen don’t understand everything he does at the table convey infomation
Hahahaha
Sometimes you gotta give them a sniff so you can gauge their reactions. Or just plain fold them off of a draw. After all, he doesnt get to see his opponent's cards.
He was eating a sandwich during the previous hand
Why the hell ,every time I watch a poker video I foind this stupid comment.
@@jeremystarr4333 that’s how I knew he was hungry.
"Like the best possible hand" the delivery and the look he gives feels badass AF
LMAO IKR
i watched it 5 times thinking the same thing. literally just rewind to that exact part thinking... bad af
It appears Daniel had McKeehen pretty shook he was able to read his hand... But I also think McK was trying to convey obvious weakness to get Daniel to call.
*oh oh, McKeehen has to multitask, two people to stare at...*
I miss that Norman Chad one liners now that they dont show these episodes anymore...
Vatsal Pandya I’ve been watching the main event for the past few days. It’s gotten pretty boring too watch, almost no personality
why did they remove it
Negreanu's ability to call people's hands and read their moves is unbelievable. He's been doing it for 25 years. He's had some of the best folds and greatest calls I've ever seen
Also, i noticed McKeehen couldn't maintain the eye contact once Daniel started making his read. That "You've got Aces?" Call killed him lol
At that point, his only move was to show a bit of weakness in hopes Daniel would call.
"What would Hellmuth do, I already know"
Mckeehen looks very much alike with the actor from the hangover.
Zach Galifinakis
Lol
He looks a lot like the kid from 2 and a half men also
Bradley cooper
2:52 McKeehen pretending be nervous scratching his nose. Daniel read that reverse tell like a book
Or maybe he was just scratching his nose? lmfao
Folding AK off suit to an all in 5 bet is definitely not the greatest fold ever. You got me to click though.
I was going to comment the same thing. Only beating one possible hand AQ. And AQ probably does not 5 bet.
@@ohio Was it suited?
agree but the accent in on Daniel's ability to read opponents so well
@@ohio only fold AA when both cards are red! If they are black or mixed you have to go with it and hope for the best.
It's a good fold but most good players would muck there. Roberto Romanello laying down Jacks full, now that was a fold to remember.
McKeehen has one of those faces you want to slap
MotownShaker 😂😂😂😂
I thought it was Schwartz but sure 🤣
@@288theabe schwartz you wanaa slap and then punch in belly😅
not necessarily, but it's what he does with that face, he had a very pretentious stare
But that would convey information
The more I watch and read this guy the more impressed I am. He's a genius in this game. Just beautiful. He never seems to rattle, never taken off.
Luciano Simmons how old are you kid? You just now found out about Daniel. Stay in school dumb kid
@@pointlessminutes3212 why do you have your surname on the first word of your username?
He's a multimillionaire so he knows he doesn't have to win it all in one hand or even one tournament. He's at the point where he can sit back and win his money over the long term. That, in and of itself, has made Daniel an even better player than he originally was.
"You got Aces." What a perfect read by Daniel.
Well it isnt a hard read. Mckeehan would call here a lot with TT-JJ and sometimes QQ and KK. AA is a ship 100% esp.after he acts like he has a decison with the stare. Daniel can just call this pre no reason to 4bet. Not a great read because its never a blufc
@@mattmcguire9179 you say it but then if you were in that spot you would play it the same way then call the shove. Or worst you only call the 3bet and flop a K and get stacked. Daniel played this hand to perfection. The 4bet let him know where McKeehen is at. Pocket pairs will call and KQ AQ AJs will fold. KK AA will ship.
"greatest fold ever" is a bit of a stretch lol
Mckeehan did win that whole tournament. But yea, it was more of a cool read than great fold
AK is the most overvalued hand of all time. Good fold but not even close to a great fold. AL is only a coin flip against 22. 22 actually has more equity against AA than AK does. Someone folded 22 in this hand.
@@seaeff6428 I agree. They snap ak like it's aces or kk. I will play ak suited more aggressive but ak off is hardly ever in good shape deep stacked. Now obv you call short stacks that could be shoving small pairs and weaker aces. This was just a good fold that we all should make against non maniacs
AK is most powerful when you're the one who has raised shoved and you have fold equity - but when calling then even against 22 you're in a coin flip.
Great fold, there's no way Negreanu wins that fkn hand.
For many years Daniel been consistently accurate ✌🏻
It's always fun to watch Daniel play. This guy is the GOAT
Whenever Dnegs feels down he pops this clip in the video player
more rake is better
kazikartinec he's not wrong. The easiest games in the world are at the church 10% rake no cap. Only morons play those games.
“Prob the same thing as him Im thinking”looked rite at him to get a read...saw him react...you got aces?? Lmfaooo
I miss poker
tbh negreanu looks super strong when he cold 4bet here, McKeehen will be extremely tight when he 5bet jam here
The looks on his face!!!!! oh my that was awesome
This isnt the greatest fold, but its good. The way Daniel just tells exactly what mckeehan had and what he is gonna do was badass tho.
This moment always feels movie like to me. Idk why. So gutted he didn’t reach the finale table or win
Just way too many bodies, stacks, modern strategy and luck for some of the OGs to make it back to the final tables. Daniel getting this close back in 2015 was great to see though.
I think if they went with a separate 25-50k buy in tournament you would get bigger names to advance further to the final table.
But the whole allure of WSOP is that anyone, literally anyone who can fork the 10k, can go through the gauntlet and make it to the very end.
was this part of the short stretch of hands where he folded a monster to Mckeehen only to face the same situation like a hand or two later when mckeehen picks up Kings? I remember watching this and I was like "wow what a fold" and then was like "wow WTF" cause how are you gonna give a guy credit for a big pocket pair immediately after folding in the same scenario involving the same guy. Folding to KIngs/aces correctly once is hard... doing it twice to the same guy in a row is... impossible.
nope
Greatest real life movie scene maybe. Loved the commentary by daniel
The GOAT. He can see it in peoples eyes
Mckeheen won the event fool
His stare is so cringe, my god...it brings me physical pain
Me : reaches for cards
Daniel : "You have pocket aces, 9 cavities, a kidney stone, and your mother just broke her back"
2:32 🔥🔥🔥
It's a good fold, but no where near the greatest fold ever.
Wow. This guy just senses danger better than anyone. Amazing.
Damn.. wish I could play like daniel! My idol..
That is the Daniel I prefer. The Daniel that has been streaming the WSOP this year online is not the Daniel I recognise. He has been pretty classless talking on his live stream this year.
The announcer literally called what Mckeehen perfectly
I'll admit, I've gone broke in a similar situation a while back in a $1K event and learned from it. Sure, AK is a great hand, but in very particular situations you gotta let it go.
I wouldn't say the "greatest fold ever" but it was a solid move. He had to figure he was against AA or KK. It wasn't rocket science to figure that out.
Yea and Even if he was against a lower pocket pair, he’d have to put in 7mill more just to flip
Vi finales de WSOP desde Ryan riess y ya van 7 años que rápido pasa el tiempo...
tan pocas ? yo vi desde joe Cada
God I fucking love Daniel!
He knows he’s racing at best
The fact alot of people woulda actually called without thinking there is crazy.I have personally lost more than I have won with AK over the years.Ill take the pocket pair of anything in that flip anyday.
The man is a poker god
nice read
It’s funny what you pick up when you watch this a few times, Daniel obviously checked McKeehen after he told Butteroni what he folded to see if there was another tell. Unfortunately Daniel was busted later. It’s a shame, he’ll win won soon enough
The stares are because he knows Justin Schwartz has been wearing that hoodie for several straight days.
THE STARE
It’s sick that they mentioned that 06 hand before they even knew he’d be in a similar type of spot
They did know it was coming. The commentary wasn't live
He is getting almost 2-1 odds to his call if we put Mckeehen QQ AK+ he is got about 40% of acuary against his range. Well I'd just say that Mckeehen prints money shoving QQ and AK here, cause Negreanu is an ABC player. If he just 4-bets value hands then you get rekt when someone is willing to put 45bb in a AK suited or QQ, and sometimes Mckeehen should flat Aces so he can stack QQ aswell and let AK catch a K or let daniel bluff. I dont see 4-bet/fold that standard here but whatever I see that fold as a standard for nitty guys and hard for people that play to win.
He's pretty much up against QQ+ and possibly AKs, KK is the only hand you can call with in this spot.
Oh yes it Is the greatest fold ever!!!!! What a monumental soulread from the best reader of all time! Daniel is so good and he knows so many things and is ready to stand for his opinions even though everyone else is disagreeing! Like, More rake is better
If he folded KKs in that spot, then it’s probably close to one of the biggest pre flop folds ever... just because of the spot
The dude in the red hoodie with the face mask look like he just escaped a cult
Daniel is the best
That European asked negraneau “what do you do for a living “
don’t see why this is considered that great of a fold. dnegs cold 4 bet this deep is showing massive strength of a hand. mckeehan shoves all in on top. at very best, they have the same hand (AKo) and at worst daniel is done for and main event dreams crushed. i remember this tournament, mckeehan was getting great cards and capitalized to win.
The guy who folded jacks full deserves better credit. AK is foldable against a 5 bet shove pre deep in a tourney. Prolly flipping at best.
Sucks to fold AK preflop, but you're likely behind his range and ICM should cause you to be a bit nittier. I'm a station and even I'd fold here
Kid poker greatest ambassador for poker ever! He knew it was an easy move but created the drama for the audience. Good man.
I agree!
this is called greates fold ever in these days...
This was a great fold by Daniel, but I wouldn’t call it the best fold EVER.
HAHAHA the title - the ratio of like/dislikes - the comments - LOL
Greatest clickbait ever
Dealer: $8.32M
Player: $9.81M
Just off by a small $1.49M or 15% of his stack.
Wow he folded Ace high lol
I've never seen anyone who can fold like him.
Hellmuth is the GOAT at folding big hands when hes beaten
He also gets bluffed more often
@@-dopeamine-5772 That's true. Hadn't thought about that. He still comes out fairing pretty well.
Greatest fold would be KK preflop. Means you put your opponent on the only better starting hand
You can fold AA pre in rare satellite bubble and some obscure ICM final table situations.
Great fold considering the stage off the torrny where the blinds are high don't think anyone else on the table folds eathier I would have called.
Greatest fold would be KK pre flop
Lork Lorkman had to reply. I always thought that user pic was dumb, but for the first time, I actually blew at my phone. Felt so dumb. Lmao
Dneg commits just under a third of effective stack then folds a hand that is standard to call off so even though not a big fan, he did well on this occasion.
Greatest fold is Texas Dolly folding KK against Chip Reese's AA pre-flop in the WSOP after Doyle raised the big blind and then Chip re-raised Doyle!!
THIS!? Someone once folded a full house at the main event and was right...THAT is the greatest fold ever.
James Obst
That's a tough fold, but he had to have more information than Negreanu had here.
Also Roberto Romanello did, an Even more spectacular fold than Obst s
@@lemurcod2 against Ruane's straight flush
@@AltoFasoPoker the Obst hand was a key hand of the tournament, with a big big pot in the middle
It sucks to fold that hand but Daniel 4-bets to find out if the guy has a monster hand. After the shove he immediately shows that he's most likely gonna fold IMO
Correct title: ''Standard ICM play dictates AK is a fold to a 5bet shove, especially when its from a guy who never plays outta line.''
One of the easiest folds you can make. surprised negs took so long to do it (ofc, can't insta fold, gotta showboat a little cos tells.)
His fold on the nut flush vs rivered full house was a way better fold
may be a re raise here by the guy would have helped him to win more chips from daniel. or just a call may be coz a slow play after daniel reraised him would have made daniel might reraise after a flop.
How much did Daniel have behind is another question and payouts but not many fold there I wouldn't
What would hellmuth do?? I wish to know
Snap fold. He's a "feel player"
Daniel quickly folded, probably so he didn’t talk himself into calling.
Went with his instincts🤔
Still a great fold considering the pot odds
Well the title is “Greatest fold ever?” not “greatest fold ever”
Daniel has definitely folded better hands. this one didn't even make it to the flop, his options were short anyway. It's all gambling to call the all-in when you technically have nothing
If Daniel really was that good, he would have folded AK preflop.
just a bad comment here.
Hellmuth's fold with a flush was more impressive
Snap Call in a 60$ Donkament. Snap Fold to a 5 bet in a 10k with millions up top.
It's never a SNAPFOLD with AK pre.
and then McKeehen went on to win the bracelet along with $8 million
Not even close to the best fold ever. C’mon A preflop jam w offsuit AK. That’s not a tough decision. If Mckeon has 22 hes a dog. Easy fold.
Lol if ever there was a live tell.. 1:01 would be it...my god. Especially if he hadn't been doing that all tournament
How do you fold AK wow. I would have gone broke.
pcosta816 that’s why you will never play for real stakes AK is simply a draw hand
Rob Klimowicz lol. Ok tough guy. It was a casual comment on how it was an impressive fold. But does it feel good cruising RUclips making condescending comments trying to feel superior about yourself?
@@robklimowicz2274
how many tournaments have u won?
did we really the drama speech beforehand??
I don't think that was the greatest fold ever. Daniel's thought process after the dude ships all in very late into a tournament:
He wouldnt do it with air or a marginal hand. He either has AA KK or QQ or maybe at the very worst AK.
To all of the above the best situation he is in is a coin flip against QQ.
And against the other 2 he is dominated.
Easy fold for a pro like Daniel. I perhaps may have called that but would've likely found the fold too.
I wouldn't say easy fold. But I do agree, the worst hand he put him on is AK. But that's Daniel, a lot of other pros would've probably snap called
sick
Greatest FOLD EVER??!?!?! Not even close
How much harder can we ride Dnegs thought Poker Central
greatest fold ever? not even in the top 1 million probably. what a stupid title to put.
Greatest fold ever? Are you kidding? How can you even put that question?
Pretty standard coz he is at best a coinflip.
why not call? maybe flop threeKings or fourKins。i has hand AK vs AA flop threeKings river fourKings got 2k doll
Title should be called "Gayest Stare Ever?" 1:01
Gave me a boner honestly.
If dnegs had kk this would've been a much sicker fold
I mean, daniel is thinking that in best case scenario he has QQ, which makes it a coin flip, so a good fold but not the best ever
Does he fold jacks full to kings full, nope Roberto Romanello holds and will forever hold the greatest fold of all time
how is this the greatest fold ever i'd fold to a 4bet with AK off never mind a 5bet
It's clickbait. Daniel and PhilH are clickbait leaders.
