Austin, I’ve got 7 million meters on my Concept2 rowers and just restarted my regimen after a year of inactivity. Found your channel and wanted to say thanks for these first two days. I’ve already corrected two technique problems. Know there’s lots of different teaching methods and even techniques but yours is the first that helped me uncover small issues that could have held me back before. Excelsior!

Really enjoying rowing along with you in the video, so much more helpful than just following a written workout!

Loved this! Thanks for all the coaching on technique. Helped me see where I needed to improve. The main improvement was to keep my wrists straight and arms back in correct position.

Thank you for this! It was nice having the pauses incorporated so us newbie’s can get a ‘feel’ of the correct row motion. Go slow so you can go fast! Might just be me, but I got the giggles at first, as I could not help but think of Elle Wood’s’ ‘bend and snap!’ I know it’s NOT what was being taught but my brain went there! Lol! This is my second time through this series and still love it!

This is just the workout I needed. I’ve been rowing on my erg for the past year and have fallen into some not so great habits. I have a feeling I’ll be coming back to this one!

You're welcome my friend! I do love the Aviron rower - but the Concept 2 is ALWAYS a good choice!

New to rowing, purchased a Concept2 a couple of weeks ago. HR consistently ~85-95, regardless of SPM. Realized after watching your video that my form/technique was completely wrong. Seems intuitive (erroneously) to primarily use the arms in rowing which isn't the best cardio workout ;)

Thank you so much for this row 20 training videos. Started working out again and found your day 1 of 20 videos 2 days ago and your videos are the first to really capture my maintain my attention through a full virtual workout!! Will be starting day 3 tonight!! One question is are your training videos similar to the ones on aviron? Debating on upgrading from my last gen nordictrack RW 700.

I’m so glad you like them!!! So actually, on Aviron you have access to this full series as well as 10+ other series just like this that I’ve made! You can also find all of these and more on my app, Just Row (App Store) for $11/month

Austin, new to rowing machine and love it - have purchased a concept2 erg machine. I’m also loving your coaching. I’ve just one question: what is the best damper setting for your workouts?

  • @ThePwnerdude

Question! So I am experiencing some wrist pain on my right wrist when pulling back. I’ve noticed it happening even when I’m conscious about keeping my elbows back and out. Is there any other motion that could be doing incorrectly that would be causing this?
