In Guatemala the currency is called Quetzal named after the bird
That's so cool! 👀
I almost have all of Guatemala’s currency.
And they can’t be kept in captivity 😮
The feathers were considered a currency to the Maya
If this were a Pokémon, its power would be its ability to dazzle the eye of any human who saw it!
Quetzal's are pretty elegant looking birds. Good video by the way.
Many thanks!
I didn't know that's how you pronounce Quetzal in English. I have always pronounce it (k-salt) spanish since I live in belize near Guatemala.
Quetzal is a not ENGLISH. So you can’t say it in English. This man isn’t pronouncing it correctly.
These little beauties are just so lovely to hear about. =)

Would you guys mind if i request something? I think a really cool idea would be to do a series called “paleo fact files” where you cover prehistoric animals from the past and also recently extinct animals
Once we reach our Patreon goal we will be doing this! Thanks so much ❤️
@@AnimalFactFiles you’re very much welcome 😊. Also i edited this comment to say both prehistoric animals from the past as well as recently extinct animals so that you guys could talk about two of my favorite extinct animals: the North Island Giant Moa and the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker.
