Solid build! I don't think we should mind you reusing the same cable extensions, so don't worry about it. When I first saw this case I wouldn't have thought it could look this pretty.
I don't understand why everyone keeps knocking the price on this thing. If you fitted a 5000D Airflow with 3 x LL120 w/ Lighting Node Pro, 1 x Commander Core XT, and 3 x LS100 350mm light strip kits (6 strips) - the total would be around $100 USD more than a just buying a 5000T with all the same kit pre-fitted as standard. The 5000T may be based on the 5000D, but it's an improvement in both features and looks... for $100 USD less.
3:29 Does anyone know the name of this soundtrack? I loved it, that is the summer evening chill music I need in my life. That was gorgeously done with the B-roll of the case (which is beautiful btw).
The price actually makes sense. £169 for average case these days, £25 per pack of two led strips so in this case three of them for £75. Pack of three fans £96, commander pro £55 total £395 in uk as of todays prices
I love the aesthetics of this case, but that price is just ridiculous! It should be $199 at most, IMO. It's still awesome because it's a throwback to the 600T case, which I loved, but with updated internals and quality.
The fans themselves are $130 if you don't buy this case, so the case and it's included rgb is about $270. The 5000D that doesn't include any of this, and has a less expensive design, goes for $180.
I was inspired to build in the NZXT H510 Elite case when I saw your build video. To date its one of my favorite videos, the song used in that one also my favorite. Had been looking to do a new build in this case when first announced and here you with this absolute banger of a video and said favorite song! Once again I have been 100% inspired to build a new rig. Keep them coming Nick and Claire! 😁
You should test thermals with top rad but also utilizing the fan slots on the side. I feel like even just adding one more exhaust fan at the top would improve thermals.
late to this video as been looking up this case. I deffo would not use the LL fans on the radiator, the static pressure is rubbish and would have stuck with the AF fans or now the new QX fans both have much better static pressure on the radiator.
If you wanna build in this case and go all in with 10 QL fans and an aio 360 i wonder what motherboard you´d need since i heard you might run into trouble with all the fans and the 4 front usb
This is Michael. No, it's not far too expensive. Figure that you're getting 3 LL fans, A commander controller, quality construction, an R GB controller for case lighting, and wiring. It's also one of the best and easiest cases to put a system in, so stop cheaping out just because you want to sound cool. You get what you pay for.

I’ll be transferring my Dark Hero mobo from the crystal680x into this new case!
It would be bice if you used the antec df700 flux in more builds, but using different fans like the QL fans. Its a nice case but there aren't many builds using different fans
Questions, the only complaints i've seen on reviews is the limited space on right side for cable management, and price. Also the hard drive cage, taking up space needed for power supply. Was that a issue on install? Is that ripple effect on the AIO lcd come standard with the corsair software, or did you download this? Is this possible to load custom graphics on lcd screen?
Yah its expensive, but its a hot looking case IMHO, did not think I would like all the RGB bling, but its growing on me. I think the HAF700 or 5000T maybe my next build... nice video keep up the great reviews.. you are always at the top of my pick list.
So, you have the 3 AIO fans in it's own commander core, and the 3 front and back fans in the one that comes with the case, can you control them together in icue as 7 fans? Could you have them race in order from bottom front up to the back fan?
Hello, will i be able to add more LL120s fans to this case without buying anything else? For example 3 more fans. Dont i need to buy separate controllers for them or i just buy fans and connect to the stock core xt controller? Will i be able to control all the rgb and speed on 6 fans with stock controller? Thanks
Thanks, great Video..... And yes, it is pricey, but consider the price of a decent RGB Keyboard, AU$180.00 and that Motherboard, AU$570.00 that's AU$750 alone! So in the grand scheme of things what are this other items without that Case....???? Oh, I nearly forgot - I just bought one. In black!
200-250 is possibly the max I would ever go , but too much money going into a case like that when it better spent on other things like a better cooler or cpu .. Corsair always expensive af smh
it is scary overpriced, but given that it has 3 LL fans and the Commander Core XT in it can kind of justify the price. LL fans costs almost $100 with the Core XT at $60. Wonder if Corsair will sell jus t the case and for what prices?
Another solid and beautiful build! you even managed to make me like gold, which I am not a fan of. If you're looking for new custom cables, check out Yokai Customs, got mine from them and they are really nice. Would be nice if they came out with a version without all the RGB fans and controller but I doubt it would be that much cheaper. Compared to the D and X series, their RGB versions were around $50 more than the non RGB, the T series price jump can only really be justified by having to tool all the plastic moulding for the top, front and bottom pieces. Corsair probably knows they wont sell as many as other cases, so cost reflects that too.
@@GearSeekers when I add this case in PC part picker, I get a note saying that "A USB 2.0 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 header adapter is required". I have the same z690-e motherboard. Were you able to connect all 4 IO USB ports and the USB-C to the motherboard?
An insane price, for sure. I do, however, plan on doing a built in this case next year when I upgrade my system to DDR5. I think the RGB is nice and subtle.
I know people who pay that much for dinner 3 times a week! saying very very expensive to a case that would probably last 3 or four builds isn't logical, fine things in life tend to go expensive, if you can't afford it some people can, but don't talk from your pocket, to some people 400 is pocket change!
I’ve been eyeing that one and then I think “But then I should switch to QL fans while I’m at it.” And then I’m like wait do I really want to drop $400-500 bucks for aesthetics!? The answer is yes but when I finally do so is yet to be determined 😂
