The only gripe I have so far with that case (have had it for a couple days) is the fact it's only got 1 USB-A port on the front, along with the 1 USB-C. Other than that it's solid.

i just finished building mine! first build.. i moved everything from my nzxt streamer plus and i love it. all new corsair fans and cooler, she runs soooo cool now. my previous nzxt kraken pump failed so it would hit 205F watching youtube. right now im at 87F. i couldnt be happier
Hello,will i be able to add more LL120s fans to this case without buying anything else? For example 3 more fans. Dont i need to buy separate controllers for them or i just buy fans and connect to the stock core xt controller? Will i be able to control all the rgb and speed on 6 fans with stock controller? I love your videos Greg, but this one doesn't sit quite right with me. It would have been nice to know upfront how much the case costs given that it's a showcase video for that case; similarly with some of the other Corsair components you used. I've come away from watching this with no sense of the value for money of the case or any other element of the build - so yes, it looks nice but is it worth the money that I or any other punter would have to pay to replicate your build?
that is on you as the viewer to do your due diligence and research on your own time Gregs channel is not based around telling viewers the prices of every component he uses in these sponsored builds or any build he does for that matter unless its specifically titled to do so i.e. "building a cheap AMD/intel system" it took me a few seconds to literally google the case and see if it was in my budget and look at similar cases from corsair with similar features. anything you need to know about any part in this video you can lookup expecting Greg to always tell you that a build is worth the money is not probable because every user builds their pc around their needs
I really struggled with this build. The final result is very nice, but man, the non-removable part of the PSU shroud creates some real issues if you don't lay things out perfectly in advance (looking at you hard drive cage). What this leads to is some substantial reduxs and reworks. First time I've ever really experiencing that in a Corsair case. :/

I'm upgrading my system and came looking to see if there were any tricks I missed about this case when I built the first time. I picked one of these(white) a little over a year ago, used with 9 fans for $35. Love the case. Only issue is it weighs a TON, I would not recommend this for smaller people. You also need a lot of desk space for it. Nice job in this build, though I'm firmly in the camp of not doing a lot of cable management in the back. I find it makes it even harder to add/remove components, but to each their own. Nice job cable managing the front though! Not sure why you didn't just use the ICUE Commander that came with the AIO and pull the one that came with the case?
Great video but you didn't mention this case (at least supposed) have a little temp probe with it that you can connect with the gpu and have the case stay cooler with fan curves for high GPU temps rather then basing it off the CPU
Bought the 5000T six months ago and just finished building it a few days ago. Great case! Great airflow, thermals and customization! Hope Corsair comes out with a 7000T. I will definitely get one if they do.

This thing looks great. Very similar to the Be Quiet 802 which I love the look of as well. Sadly both are too big for my plans, otherwise this would've become hard to pick a favourite between the 5000T and the 802.

Yup. This feels like an updated 802. I had a build in an 802 for a little over a year, and that was my biggest complaint. It’s a massive case. I am now into SFF and very glad I did. Huge step down with same powerful PC components.
I have the 5000D this is making me thinking of getting the 5000T those doors are so easy compared to the screw doors on the D the white and black 😍 also
What I would change: aio tubes flowing forward instead of towards the rear, to fill some of the void that’s in the front of the case. I would’ve also used those white led ML120 fans throughout the whole build to create more continuity
my aero cool 300 is still doing the trick ( even though i shorted out a mobo with my cd-rom, which is now isolated on the backside with electrical tape ) lol.

This is a really nice case and I'm seriously considering switching from a 275R to this. The 275R just has a really painful front panel. Just fiddling with rearranging/adding fans was a bit more of a hassle than I would have liked. Maybe instead of a 7000D for my dream build I'll use this case instead.

Nice build! I was ready to pull the trigger for that case yesterday but couldn’t do it @ $399. Don’t need the fans or the commander core so I couldn’t justify it. I wish they would sell a bare bones case for people who don’t need that stuff but they clearly want you in their ecosystem…🤷♂️

Sell the fans and the commander pro. Ngl I can afford this, but I only had my Crystal Series 570x for about a year and I've made it into a black and white build with both the right and front glass panels being mirrored while the top and left side panels being the normal smoked look. I don't wanna let go because I love how this case looks and they don't manufacture it anymore but this 5000T looks promising, especially since im running an air cooled build.

That is a nice case and a sexy build. One point of catenation I have is I wish the led's on the edges was diffused. Simple fix tho, grab some blank receipt roles and cut a strip to length, add a bit of scotch tape and she's looking golden. Also wish the graphics card didn't have any blue on it/get rid of the plexiglass crap on it. Besides that, very sexy

honestly wouldve bought this over the 5000D airflow i have already but 5000D is my fave case and currently houses my properly functioning PC so i just cant bring myself to drop $400 on a case and while i have faith in myself to rebuilt it possibly risk issues from reassembling my PC inside the 5000T. this is like the 5000D and Enthoo Evol X if my two fave cases had a child.
To be honest this is basically a 5000D Airflow/X hybrid with an alternative styling and a hinged glass door (which is a nice addition tbf). But for the most part it's the same case with the same features and a few extra bells and whistles for $400.
I'm a bit jealous, I built a system and broke the bank, now I can't even afford a case to put it in. The system I built was fairly cheap, a prebuild motherboard Dell Optiplex 7040 MT for $19, the Intel Core i5 6500 for $74, a cheap LED CPU cooler for $14(because its the only one that I could find that came with a LGA 1151 backplate and the MB didn't come with any), 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133MHz RAM for $50, a High Power 650w 80 plus gold PSU for $45(because I would like to upgrade my GPU someday and not having to worry about PSU), the GPU I could afford is the AMD Radeon R7 450 4GB GDDR5 version for $78, plus I had to buy the 24 pin to 8 pin PSU converter cable for $8 and I salvaged a 1TB HDD from an old system. The problem I face isn't the initial price for the items, it's the custom charges my country implements. I live in Jamaica and we Jamaicans have to pay 60% to customs for any item over $50 USD, plus $5 USD per pound for any item we ship in. So now I'm stuck with my PC in boxes until I can afford to buy a case. Shopping locally is not an option because I couldn't find any store that sold PC parts to build a complete system, plus the prices here is mind blowing, not to mention exchange rates from JMD to USD

Brilliant case. It's a little reminiscent of the 780T case that I have. I love my 780T case but this case is worth the upgrade! Just gotta find a way to convince myself to spend $400 on this case. Just realized this case is very similar to the be quiet!'s Silent Base 802 case.

Beautiful case, but at it's pricepoint its just so out of reach. I grabbed a white 4000D the first couple days it was out for $80 and think I was super lucky as an "early adopter" for a new case series. I'm happy with my purchase and although this 5000T is a far more premium case, it's not worth 5 times the price at $400 in my opinion. Some day when I'm rich and retired I'd be all over this though!

@@SkateClipsAndTips It does have a full 3 x 120mm LL fans and a commander pro with a temp probe. That is about a 180-200 USD value alone. Combined with the design and build quality, and it's not that much of a stretch.
From my experience, Corsair’s 3-packs with a control hub are cheaper than buying 3 individual fans. Since if you buy a case like this or the x000X cases you get a hub included, they should also have a 3-pack without the control hub.

Corsair is the GOAT when it comes to cases, I'm still using my C70 in gunmetal black after 7 years and two previous builds.

10 fans? My current PC p400s only 5 fans. This case looks similar to Phanteks p500a. Too bad I only use Corsair RAM.

This thing looks great. Very similar to the Be Quiet 802 which I love the look of as well. Sadly both are too big for my plans, otherwise this would've become hard to pick a favourite between the 5000T and the 802.

Yup. This feels like an updated 802. I had a build in an 802 for a little over a year, and that was my biggest complaint. It’s a massive case. I am now into SFF and very glad I did. Huge step down with same powerful PC components.

What I would change: aio tubes flowing forward instead of towards the rear, to fill some of the void that’s in the front of the case. I would’ve also used those white led ML120 fans throughout the whole build to create more continuity
Not a fan of the AIO tubes blocking the view of the RGB Ram. Especially if you purchase nice sticks like the ones in this clip.
Whats the problem with the aio tubes flowing towards? If its go forward then the LCD not looking cool + you block the rbg ram too

This is a really nice case and I'm seriously considering switching from a 275R to this. The 275R just has a really painful front panel. Just fiddling with rearranging/adding fans was a bit more of a hassle than I would have liked. Maybe instead of a 7000D for my dream build I'll use this case instead.

can you install 3 fans on the side next to the front, but i'm assuming you need to remove the plate first sad that he didn't show how to do that.
I’ve built one first build with most Corsair products, and they have a customer for life. I wish I had the patience to cable manage because I have a rats nest in the back of my PC 😂

Nice build! I was ready to pull the trigger for that case yesterday but couldn’t do it @ $399. Don’t need the fans or the commander core so I couldn’t justify it. I wish they would sell a bare bones case for people who don’t need that stuff but they clearly want you in their ecosystem…🤷♂️

Sell the fans and the commander pro. Ngl I can afford this, but I only had my Crystal Series 570x for about a year and I've made it into a black and white build with both the right and front glass panels being mirrored while the top and left side panels being the normal smoked look. I don't wanna let go because I love how this case looks and they don't manufacture it anymore but this 5000T looks promising, especially since im running an air cooled build.

That is a nice case and a sexy build. One point of catenation I have is I wish the led's on the edges was diffused. Simple fix tho, grab some blank receipt roles and cut a strip to length, add a bit of scotch tape and she's looking golden.
Also wish the graphics card didn't have any blue on it/get rid of the plexiglass crap on it. Besides that, very sexy

Have a black 5000D Airflow coming today (along with remaining components). I agree, their fans are great! SP120 RGB Pro fans going in it.

honestly wouldve bought this over the 5000D airflow i have already but 5000D is my fave case and currently houses my properly functioning PC so i just cant bring myself to drop $400 on a case and while i have faith in myself to rebuilt it possibly risk issues from reassembling my PC inside the 5000T. this is like the 5000D and Enthoo Evol X if my two fave cases had a child.
To be honest this is basically a 5000D Airflow/X hybrid with an alternative styling and a hinged glass door (which is a nice addition tbf).
But for the most part it's the same case with the same features and a few extra bells and whistles for $400.
I always wonder what do you guys do after building the pc sponsered by someone..Please answer my question gerg

I'm a bit jealous, I built a system and broke the bank, now I can't even afford a case to put it in. The system I built was fairly cheap, a prebuild motherboard Dell Optiplex 7040 MT for $19, the Intel Core i5 6500 for $74, a cheap LED CPU cooler for $14(because its the only one that I could find that came with a LGA 1151 backplate and the MB didn't come with any), 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133MHz RAM for $50, a High Power 650w 80 plus gold PSU for $45(because I would like to upgrade my GPU someday and not having to worry about PSU), the GPU I could afford is the AMD Radeon R7 450 4GB GDDR5 version for $78, plus I had to buy the 24 pin to 8 pin PSU converter cable for $8 and I salvaged a 1TB HDD from an old system. The problem I face isn't the initial price for the items, it's the custom charges my country implements. I live in Jamaica and we Jamaicans have to pay 60% to customs for any item over $50 USD, plus $5 USD per pound for any item we ship in. So now I'm stuck with my PC in boxes until I can afford to buy a case. Shopping locally is not an option because I couldn't find any store that sold PC parts to build a complete system, plus the prices here is mind blowing, not to mention exchange rates from JMD to USD

Brilliant case. It's a little reminiscent of the 780T case that I have. I love my 780T case but this case is worth the upgrade! Just gotta find a way to convince myself to spend $400 on this case. Just realized this case is very similar to the be quiet!'s Silent Base 802 case.

Beautiful case, but at it's pricepoint its just so out of reach. I grabbed a white 4000D the first couple days it was out for $80 and think I was super lucky as an "early adopter" for a new case series. I'm happy with my purchase and although this 5000T is a far more premium case, it's not worth 5 times the price at $400 in my opinion. Some day when I'm rich and retired I'd be all over this though!
Odd Lian LI has the Lancool 2 amd Lancool 2 mesh usually find them just under $100 and has almost everything this case does minus the controllers

@@SkateClipsAndTips It does have a full 3 x 120mm LL fans and a commander pro with a temp probe. That is about a 180-200 USD value alone. Combined with the design and build quality, and it's not that much of a stretch.
From my experience, Corsair’s 3-packs with a control hub are cheaper than buying 3 individual fans. Since if you buy a case like this or the x000X cases you get a hub included, they should also have a 3-pack without the control hub.
