I had actually just built a mATX system (5800x/3060) for a friend and looked at this case but ultimately opted for the CoolerMaster 320ML. In retrospect, this case would have worked great too. I love the removable frontside PSU section. Usually that space just gets jammed up PSU cables where you can't organize/control where/how they sit. Since you can't access from the other side. Might have to pick one these up next time. Thanks Nick!
I saw this one, have used the Cougar MG-120 G and it was actually fantastic for such a cheap price. Figured this one would be good too, but wanted to wait and see. Appreciate your coverage on it! Cougar seems pretty competent at making budget cases look great and not too flimsy.
One thing that this case has that not enough other cases has is a direct cut out in the PSU shroud specifically for GPU power cables. Sadly only the white version of vented front panel is available in the USA currently. One annoying thing is there isn’t a completely black version with the vented front panel.
I have a Cougar Panzer, its way too big for my needs, but was a nice buy for the price at the time. Having 160mm CPU cooler clearance is great in the MG140. Surprisingly stylish for the price. Also looks like Cougar is still tinting their glass, I can confirm this looks nice in person.
I don't need an ATX board. I don't need the extra PCIE slots. So i don't need to spend the money for an ATX board, nor lose the desk space. But I don't want to spend the money for ITX. I priced out my current build, but used ITX pricing, for the board, the case and the smaller form factor power supply, which would have added another $300 to the build.
just saw this on our local store, just wow me by the looks.. and then here I am watched your review, that removable shroud can really be helpful tucking the cables. I'm a matx user ever since and I see manufacturers do atx then itx they skip matx so sad. thanks for the review!
3 included ARGB fans, plenty of storage options, removable psu shroud, included argb hub with motherboard passthrough, and its cheap, thats pretty sweet for what it is ! great option for a budget build !
I had that case in my Mwave basket for my new build but changed my mine come check out. Swapped it for the Lian li air so glade I did not that much extra and an amazing case that fits an atx board.
It's a nice case. I think of mATX as a "larger" mITX rather than a "smaller" ATX. With high power ITX cases taking up so much room with their VRMs, leaving basically only water cooling as an option, an mATX mobo is way better, even if it's meant for use with 2 DIMMs and 1 PCIE (like a mini-ITX). This is why I like the fact that this case only has the 4 slots rather than the 5 which the Define Mini has. The GPU has breathing room and so does the CPU and so do the VRMs. Really wish mobo manufacturers would experiment more with the mATX form factor.
I know how it is to not subscribe. You want to make sure it's a good channel, that it's not annoying or anything. That it's actually the type of content you want and not that the few videos you've seen are different than most videos they put out. But this is a good channel! Not annoying. They are regular, they are nice people and very consistent with what type of stuff they put out. *SUBSCRIBE!*
I like this case, it looks cool and the price is great. To bad u dont KRUX in Australia (its a Chinese brand, but its heavily pushed in Poland). They have an interesting cheap alternative for the Lian-Li O11 cases. They call it KRUX ANTA. To bad that just the shipping to u would cost as much as the case.
Cougar have definitely made some amazing cases in the more budget friendly to high end price range over the past few years which is great to see 🥰🤩🤯! I think more coverage on other brands rather than the usual lineup of Corsair, Fractal, Lian-Li is something I and many others would love to see more of! Great video Nick and great job on the case Cougar.
maybe try this budget Antec NX410 White, Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Case, Tempered Glass Side Panel · 3 ARGB Fans Included : 2 x 140 mm ARGB fan in front & 1 x 120 mm ARGB fan in rear.
It's a nice looking case, but for budget builds its impossible to go past either the Matrexx 55 or the Fara H1M Pro, both of which are quite a bit cheaper than this (the H1M Pro includes 3 ARGB fans and a controller too).
I don't know why anyone wouldn't subscribe because you usually give honest no bullshit reviews and they are very entertaining .. SO EVERYONE SUBSCRIBE!!!!!!!
You really do a really good job. But the reason no one is talking about it is because if you gunna spend $100 on a case then you might as well spend a little more and get something else because your going to have buyers remorse with this cheap little case. 😂
no joke, just saw this 3 days ago and was trying to find reviews and builds for it on youtube and found almost nothing, Perfect timing guys, thanks :)
Will upload some pictures of my build and send them to you. This case is pretty awesome.
A good clean more budget oriented build is always a welcome sight

This case has always attracted my eyes since 1-2 months ago. But cant seem to find a proper video showcasing it. Good job mate
We need more love for the mATX form factor - ATX is just too much for the majority of people.
Reminds me of the NZXT H510 elite. With out all the bells and whistles, but with more practicality and functionality
Cougar are way underrated and receive next to no mainstream techtube coverage. Awesome build!
Недооценены? Серьёзно? Cougar, это ребрендинг когда-то легендарных корпусов Ascot!

I just had mine arrive today Cougar MX430 Air RGB Black ATX Case, and i found your smaller build defs made set up easier as this is my second build
Case looks really good, two tone is something different - its got a hint of the HP Server look to it.
Thanks for the MATX love. So refreshing.
I also recommend to check out the Raijintek Thetis and Ophion M Evo cases.

Very Nice MATX case. thank you showing us this case! love your videos!

Wish cases included more cable management holes on the basement/psu shroud.

I bought this months ago, I really like the design, I am all about the aesthetic. I like how the glass totally hides the PSU shroud.

Thanks for taking the time to review. It's surprising why this case got no coverage.
I like matx builds. This case has a real premium look and cougar cases aren't bad generally, this one looks a really good option.
I love these cases where the glass side panel only reaches to the ceiling of the PSU shroud, not all the way down.

Great review ! Do the fans plug into the hub or do you need a fan splitter? I have rgb but the fans don’t spin. Thanks!
Fantastic video fams. Very decent case for the price.

That case only show up rarely in my country
Any chance to get Cougar Dust 2 as well, Nick?
A Cougar ITX case other than QBX.
I'll see if I can buy one over the next few weeks
open mesh panel at the front and top I dont see a problem and its quite nice in appearance
I'm a big fan of cougars, but I suspect I mean something entirely different.
😎😎
you should move the front fans up a tad to sit them more inline with the front cutout 😀
Awesome video fams, that case looks awesome
Case looks pretty cool!!

Great video as always. I clicked the u.s. link and of course the case is currently unavailable LOL
Just placed an order for one, building a m-atx R7-5800x setup in it next week!
new intro idea: "hey nick, im gearseekers"
Thats a nice little build.. looks great.
what are your thoughts about the aerocool trinity mini rgb v3.
don't know if it exist in Australia, but one of the cheapest micro atx cases
maybe try this budget Antec NX410 White, Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Case, Tempered Glass Side Panel · 3 ARGB Fans Included : 2 x 140 mm ARGB fan in front & 1 x 120 mm ARGB fan in rear.
You have the wrong url for the Amazon US case link. 👍
It would be nice if the case supported the radiator at the top.
This case looks great, and the value seems to be there as well.
Can you do a review about the Mechanic Master c28?????
What cable combs are you using in this build? They look similar to the Corsair ones.
So can i use pwm splitter/hub for that 3pin fan?
Do you think they will make a medium pc case?
Yeah it looks quite nice and yes for a budget build its not too bad.. there are some nice options in the under $100 mark.
Oof the track during the b roll is 🔥🔥🥵
I saw the title and thought we were gonna be discussing a murder mystery. 😔
😂😂
The aesthetic is gorgeous, budget or not. Would love to see top rad support but oh well
Great looking case for the price!🔥🔥
Interesting.I'll be waiting for Phanteks take on this though.
So this case wouldn’t fit a 240mm aio with fans on the front and 2 120mm fans up top??
It will
same, i was looking for review when this case came out and had NO REVIEW AT ALL
Case looks nice, but it's way too small for me.
This case reminds me a lot of my Cool Master NR400 🤔
Looks like a great budget option to me!
When the premium version comes out…I will be throwing my money at it. What a case 💪🏻❤️
Also, just subscribe..it take seconds…You have been advised 🤣💪🏻
Will I be able to fit 320 mm gpu
also look at the New NZXT 510 Airflow case. looks almost identical but even better and $99
ruclips.net/video/YsYucgn2hqk/видео.html
It’s £50 to £70 on Amazon
NZXT H510 Flow vibes
new cases should just have top mount AIO mounting capabilities. its a good looking case too bad it doesnt have it. doesnt beat the lian li 205M for me
Who doesn't love cougar?
Good job
looks good but fractal just needs to make a meshify 2 mini !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Subscribed! Cheers!
Thanks for joining us!
I LOVE CASES
With Lian Li, Fractal and Corsair in the mix, there's really no reason to buy anything else.
It's a nice looking case, but for budget builds its impossible to go past either the Matrexx 55 or the Fara H1M Pro, both of which are quite a bit cheaper than this (the H1M Pro includes 3 ARGB fans and a controller too).
Both of those cases are more expensive with the Fara H1M being about double the cost of the Cougar
H510 flow cut copy and restyling
Uh no! This case came out 4 months before the H510 Flow.
I don't know why anyone wouldn't subscribe because you usually give honest no bullshit reviews and they are very entertaining ..
