I really like the way you do these redesign videos. Asking about story and what people want kept and changed isn’t something I see that much. I think it really leads to a redesign that the original artist will like. Love the art and keep it up!

actually in the first one, blue is a really good option to the kinda green palette, it makes it looks more natural, i would sugest this colors: that green-ish color, the kinda dark blue was really
good too, the purple in her eyes were exelent, the corset, pants and gloves could be more off a dark purple color to match the palette of a spiritual like, i sugest the colors you used there u could maybe desaturate them a little bit more? i feel like it would suit her more, also the turquoise was perfect ^^, in case u didnt notice the scarf thing and the skirt had a galaxy pattern, it has potential,
something i would keep is the hair, u kinda change the feeling of the character now it looks a little more farm like?? kinda apple jack feeling. (lol sorry for the long ass essay, now to continue with my 5 homeworks i have to present on wednesday) oh also i just read that you go by they/them sorry if i missgendered you ;-;

Something I think is important to take into consideration for the first design, as well as for anyone who wants to create a character with vitiligo, is to RESEARCH VITILIGO!
A lot of people create characters with vitiligo for the aesthetic and because it looks unique and such, but I think it's important for you to research vitiligo and really take into consideration how people with vitiligo feel, how they experience life, because having vitiligo is not a cute aesthetic thing; a lot of people with vitiligo have experience bullying, isolation, trauma... And vitiligo itself is a condition that isn't just random; there are different types of vitiligo and different things to take into consideration when creating a character with vitiligo.
This comment isn't meant to be harsh or anything, just genuine critique and recommendation!!! I know a lot of people with vitiligo want people to portray this condition accurately, not just randomly, and I think that's important to spread :) I don't have vitiligo, but like I said, I've seen people with it talk about how they wish there was more accurate representation!
I did research dw :) The type of vitiligo I gave her was generalized vitiligo, which means it's large patches that appear all over the body.

For future reference, vitiligo is actully pronounced more like vit-ill-lie-go, also the vitiligo is not quite represented exactly accurate, though I think that's more on the original artist then you. Cool video though! I like your art and designs (:
