Again with the best reviews on RUclips. Very helpful thank you.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice review, I like Ur style. Never change man you rock.
I got the might FET drive, and lately the Modified, both seem to be very versatile pedals!
Custom badass and the Sugar Drive sounded the best
Thanks for showing neck pickup above the 12th fret, literally most demo people dont bother to do that
Nice, choice of pedals is cool, no reviews like this online
I have all of these except for il Diavolo. I tried it. It didn’t grab me. I only sound from it that I liked was when the gain was way down. I love the tonal flexibility of the Modified OD. I love the small footprint of the Sugar Drive. I love the clean boost-low gain sound of the il Torino.
Every one of these pedals, I think I can “play” very nicely just by changing my pick attack and strength as well as by using the variations on guitar’s volume control.
I’dike to try the il Diavolo again with my own stuff, and see if I can find my tonal happiness with it.
Go figure! I have the Badass and a modded SD-1: virtually the same pedal. At least I'm consistant in taste :P
Has the Badass still got the mid hump with the boost disengaged, Or is it relatively flat and engaging the boost takes it into SD-1 territory with the mids?
Il Diavolo sounded sweet!
What happened when Clint Eastwood drove his Grand Torino too much? It became ill.
il diavolo FTW
Tastes vary, but I personally like the more organic and the milder il torino. It breaks up a bit more saturated, but can be a just as tight in the mids. Sounds special, too bad not in production anymore.
I hope they bring it back. They released the "dynamic OD" this year which is also a MOSFET circuit. That might be similar.
I liked the Custom badass OD the best, 2nd place for Il Diavolo and the Sugar drive, I didn't like Il Torino
First!
Custom Badass Modified OD for me. It's basically a Way Huge Green Rhino Mk2, isn't it?
With the Bump switch engaged, it gets you pretty close I'd say
No, it is based on boss sd-1 with some mods.
@@mikekashaev The custom badass O.D. is to the boss sd-1 what the green rhino is to the tube screamer
@@mikekashaev Damn didn't realise that it was an sd-1 definately need to try one, modified sd-1s are my favourite pedals in the tubescreamer/od-1 type (soft clipping op amp pedals)
@@JimijaymesProductions yup i think it has the sd1 vibe within
Custom Badass - so tasty!
thnx for review \m/
I liked the Modified OD and the Diavolo. Which would you suggest for using on an already overdriven amp?
I can vouch for the Modified OD..I owned one before... with the bump switch engaged its kinda like a TS type pedal...without it engaged its kinda like a SD-1...
@@MusicBlissMalaysiaTV It's like a TS808 with a "more" switch. Really pumps up those mids.
Modified. For sure.
@@MusicBlissMalaysiaTV Thank you for the reply and the information.
@@mattgilbert7347 They both sound good and have their own advantages with their controls. I'm not hauling my amp and cabinet two hours away to a music store so all I have to go on are videos and the opinions of others. Lol. Thanks for the advice.
0:19 fair enough :D
Excellent video
I love the torino but I got a question, when playing live will I be able to activate the boost with my foot?
No chance in hell, unless your foot is the size of a finger.
Or maybe you have fingers instead of toes...
Solid.
sugar drive is clon centaur ?
Klone but with its own character
And the winner is il diavolo.
