Yeah, it's only "northern Sweden" for people from the big cities in the south. To the rest of us, Sollefteå is pretty much smack dab in the middle. I lived in Kiruna a few years, and Sollefteå is almost exactly the middle point between Kiruna and Malmö.

Wow! This was nice to see. From my hometown Sollefteå where I live. "Multråberget" (The mountain of "Multro" (A kind of berry typical of Sweden)) is clearly visible from the town of Sollefteå. Everyone who lives here has it as an excursion destination, from the time they go to primary school and also as a family excursion. The house you saw is actually more of a shelter where you can sit if it rains. Otherwise, it was a workout in Sollefteå, where there are several places to choose from. I recognize the other places as well and they are also well-known excursion destinations. The festival is an annual event. In Näsåker approx.: 50 km from Sollefteå. An incredibly popular music festival where people from all over Sweden, but also outside Sweden travel to, many have it as a regular event in their lives every year. "The night of fire", which is the opening of the festival Those who have been part of it will never forget it. - Go there! :)

Hello, Dwayne! You're absolutely right! To meet new people from all over the world is the best way to learn new things, to broaden one's horizons and to get rid of prejudices. Besides, nothing is as interesting as another human being, his or her life experiences and the emotional bonding, the uniqueness of each separate individual and yet the realization that we are all members of the same human family.
Dwayne, you are such a great and positive guy with an equally great sense of humour. Thank you for brightening up my day!
Btw, I'm a subscriber from Finland, one of those Swedish-speaking Finlanders, and you're the nicest and most positive British youtuber that I know. 🌹

Yes I have served in the Swedish military for 13 months. But since Sweden at the time only had a defense force we was not at the time involved in any conflicts, but I learned a lot in a very short time. I got educated in radio, medic, explosives, how to survive in the wild, navigation, and how to handle a weapons and much much more.

When you invite 50 different people who like what you do, I think everyone is happy to finally meet their *youtuber*. I don't think you care about the weather then. of course sun is a plus. As a follower, I would try to make my * youtuber* feel good that she/he chose the right person to meet. And then these places they visit, WOW! Who wouldn't feel good about them regardless of the weather? Sweden is very beautiful. Good reaction as usual =)

It would have been interesting to see 50 random people - who didn't have the same interests or were fan-boys do the trip. It would probably have been a very different video where we got to experience the other sides of human nature.

The rock carvings have been filled in with paint so they're easier to spot. Similar carvings and other marks, like circles and round holes, can be found near rapids and other flat rock beds all over Scandinavia.

I spent my childhoods summer and winters in the northern part of Sweden, and I have seen the northern lights light up the whole sky in the winter and with the nature around you it is kind of magical you get a feeling this can not be real. And we have in Sarek national park one of the few wilderness in Europe that have not been touched by humans, and that place is magical but there are dangers in there and you must use tents to camp there so you need to be an experienced outdoor person to survive in Sarek. Yes I have seen Sarek and it was one of the best experiences I have had in my life. Sure it was hard walking for days but it was so worth it in the end.

As I told you before .... Sweden are very different in different parts. We have very many and different landscapes and also different citys.
Also the weather and the seasons is very different.
Like in Skåne (the south of Sweden) theres is earlier summer longer autumns or late summers. And lesser winter thats usually more rain based.
In Norrland (the North) its more snow longer winters etc. And also peoples mentality is very different and the Difference in Swedish accent and so on.
And every one or thing is beutiful in its own way.
Thats also why theres so much to experience in Sweden. Its very many different people and places. And we are very proud of our nature, heritage, citys and so on.
And we love to share it with people who appreciate it and share our values or have respect for them. As we want to have with the different minded.
Hope to see you in Sweden in the future.
As you see you may have go several trips to visit more places :)
I live in our beautiful capitol Stockholm. But as said all Sweden has its beuty. And Norrland (the North) is for me among the beutifullest....

Kalle Flodin, who invites 50 people, does not live as far north as people might think, but more in the middle of Sweden, in the town of Sollefteå. I live in the city of Kiruna which is 746 Km (463.54 miles), north of Skollefteå.
So the nature they saw and were shown down in Sollefteå, is not at all the same nature that is up here in Kiruna. IN
In Kiruna there is a real mountain environment with bare mountains, where nothing grows. And there is a big difference in the air between Sollefteå and Kiruna, as Kiruna has drier and healthier air.

Almost half of Sweden looks like this :) I visit the mountains every summer with my family. We are not al fit but at the same time is obesity not so common either. Our helfcare is actually very cheap btw :) I am at hospital alot and its almost always free (for me). Its because we have a law that helfcare is free in a year after you have paid an (quite low) amount of money for helfcare.

8:09 Well... Cannot say that everybody is going to the gym for a workout. But a lot of our fitness comes from taking long strolls or walks, and running in the many natural reserves dotting our landscapes. If that's not of your interest, we still like to go out in nature to just think about something else than work or our own life to appreciate what has always been, LONG before we even existed on this planet, and this goes a long way.
Maybe it's just me who's thinking like that... But my point is that we always tend to take so many things for granted that we forget the much simpler and natural beauty that our planet has gifted to us. :) We must learn to think less about our own interest and start seeing beyond.

if you like seafood you should visit Smögen and eat some fresh seafood and Skagenröra, Gothenburg and Stockholm are 2 very good big citys to visit with lots of stuff to see and do. up north you have really great nature and in the winter you can go skiing, ride dogsled and snowscooters. if you get the chans you wont regret seing the northern lights :)

You should watch to "Travelling to the northern wilderness - 1 week in Swedish Lapland". I am not trying to gain anything from this, I just thought it was a really cool video. I already commented about this on another video of yours and you did not respond, so I figured I wait until you drop a brand new video to increase my chances of you seeing this.😁
