The thin chocolate-slices are meant to be put on a sandwich (maybe with butter under it), not eaten by itself. It says chocolate-sandwichspread in Danish on the package.

I would say that Sweden and Finland are more known for licorice than Denmark.

yes torskerogn is cod caviar eggs. i like to roast a slice on a pan and use as topping on top of that ryebread. then also some remolade on top. serve it warm.

the basis of remolade is normal mayo, and some super fine chopped veggies in it like carrots etc. what makes it a bit yellow is a bit of curry in it.

Only ONE problem with Cocio ~ they dissappear to fast. :D It is just Milk Cocoa. Wait what is wrong with their tastebuds? Bubbelgum? "Snøfler" is just a thin layer of cocoa, and with a biscuit like filling, it is sweet but very good to most.

LOL no that "remoulade" is NOT a spread. It is to put a top of meaty product on the bread like from bottom and up: Bread, butter, ham, remoulade og maybe some spring onions on top af that. ALL meaty things for bread can be used. And "Torskerogn" can be eaten as a spread, but normally it is cut on the long side and put on bread (butter between), it can also be cut in slices and roasted on a pan before put on bread. It is good for me. And yeah it is "rogn" meaning fish eggs. A slice of if normally fit a piece og bread fine, larger one needs 2 pieces. A little Mayo on it and a bit green and perfect.

Salte Fisk is salt and salmiak licorice, but if you only put it in your mouth without thickening it, it only tastes of salt.

Remoulade is half mayonnaise, half crushed white cabbage, with dragon/cilantro, vinegar, and yellow spice, mainly curcumin and curry. But you can put more vegetables in it, as mentioned, cucumber, carrot, pickles, and capers. For french fries, battered fish filet, cod roe, salty salami, roast beef (with deep fried onion, horseradish, capers).

And if youre old enough you put some brandy in the Cocio.. Then it is even better..

Torskerogn is not something I have eaten since I was like 11. It is mainly given to children in my experience.

Torskerogn is Cod roe, it is lightly smoked. you can fry it and serve it on rye bread with remoulade on top. Remoulade is pickled vegetables in a curry/mustard sauce, mixed with mayo. Remoulade is an important part of a Danish hotdog

A couple of slices of toskerogn fried on the pan put ontop of a piece of ryebread and topped with remoulade and a squish of lemon.

Dereks pronunciation is terrible. Usually we're told by our Scandinavian cousins, that we sound like we speak with a potato in our mouth. But to us Danes, the way Derek pronounces our streetnames, this is how it actually sounds like when you litterally speak with a potato in your mouth.

I don't know where you live in Thailand, but if you live near Pattaya/Jomtien, there is good bread in soy Whitehouse in Jomtien, a place called "Bryghuset" fresh Danish bread, its a bar but the owner is a baker from Denmark and bakes bread every day
