Have gone for them 5 times during the Christmas holidays, successful three times. Absolutely wonderful birds to look at. Just as happy seeing them the first time as I seeing them the third time.
Excellent, thanks for sharing. We walked up and down for ages in the pouring rain, decided to get lunch and they appeared in the trees opposite the cafe! Hot choc whilst watching Waxwings, what's not to like!
thats the dream I bet the cafe are happy with them
Nice to see vlog on these awesome little guys, i have been watching on sites for the last 3 mths moving across the country through scotland down the midlands then east of country then down to the south & west, I was blessed to photograph some here in devon last week my first ever siting of waxwings, all i can say was they are beautiful creatures of nature & made my day. wish i had done some video of them, great job on the video captures.
Brilliant
A friend and I had the pleasure of seeing four in South Wales
That was enough for me
Absolutely brilliant
Thanks for the video
Cheers Matt

An amazing sight Jack, not sure I’ve ever seen a waxwing! They are certainly a beautiful looking bird. I enjoyed your video of underwater barbel at the Barbel Society show last June, magnificent photography, thanks!
thanks harry yes they are stunning birds!
Thanks for the great footage, they look loverly. How about some Woodpecker's or Jay's? Seen a few greens in the last couple of week around Lutterworth, Harborough area. And Jays east of Harborough.
Woodpeckers would be good
Wish they would come to notts

Excellent Jack! Now how about finding a drake Smew?? 🙂
That would be special
It certainly would be. They're decreasing in numbers sadly 😥
