Also, Elechik searches Divine Runes, just gets you Khione for Nexus Banking right away, swap out a Jolten maybe, becuase you have Jolten, then two Mountains.
I was playing Elechik for a bit, but I had to cut it for deck space. I could drop some counter runes to increase consistency, but since the meta is all around counter runes, I didn't want to do that. The issue with this deck in my opinion is that you desperately need to get to Khione and Mountains or else the deck does nothing, so maybe 2 of each of those cards is the way to go.
@@BaconTWO123 Another Nexus option is Circle The Sky, if you don't get Frigicub out, and even then, it's still card draw AND a Nexus for Catarant or whatever, so it even paus for itself
@@Fluffal_Enthusiast You know, I didn't even think about doing that. As I said in the video, one of the biggest issues I have with the deck is consistency because there are just so many pieces that you have to hit, but since Circle The Sky draws a card and helps facilitate the deck's gameplan, I think I'll try including that. Speaking of which, I made a couple of other changes to the deck since uploading this. I've put in Astrabbit and Elechik to grant even more consistency. Another note about Elechik is that while it does search Khione, I've removed the rune hate (Lavalith and Blizzard), so Elechik is a decent way to try and eat the backrow. Everything else I did was just increase ratios of certain cards like Khione and Mountains, but I have also included Circle in the deck. I haven't had the chance yet to test any of the changes, but thought I'd let you know about them.
@@BaconTWO123 Astrabbit was a great choice, I don't know how I didn't think about it, I play it in every other deck, except the one that needs more consistency.
@@BaconTWO123 Yo now that Daybreak is out we have Brumalynx for all of our Rune Hate needs. It lets you nexus, just STOPS your opponent from casting their face-down runes, AND it's a 1 cost, so it can be revived with Emphrostix
What a coincidence, i just wanted to build a frost nexus deck, thanks for the video!
For daybreak format kryovyrn rhinosect feels like the most viable frost strategy, frost does so much cool stuff for set 3
You're probably right, but Frigicub is my baby so I'll milk it in decks until it's good :)
@@BaconTWO123 shiveroar is one of my favorite elestrals, I just wish it was more viable as a deck
But to be fair the kryo line is probably my number 1 favorite lol
