Regarding the Second Coming we need to be patience and have calm perseverance. No one knows the time of his coming so be ever watchful. But take care not to rush and remember to pause. Take time to stand still.
"...the wheat will GROW..." We must be willing to put in the effort to always be growing. It's a daily, hourly thing! I tell children that we pause to pray to help us focus on the beautiful things of life and all that we have been given by a Father in Heaven who loves us. And just as the moon reflects the light of the sun, we, too, can reflect the light of the Son of God as much as we get to know Him and love Him. It takes effort and consistency, but it is possible.
I heard a long time ago that tares are poisonous. It's wonderful that we are seeing the Church speeches from the Brethren on YT. Last General Conference I viewed the Saturday Session on You Tube. The Sunday Session I saw on TV I don't use face book or twitter. I am 82 years and I'm not very good with technology.
I had a dream in 2017 if anyone is interested in hearing. Where a giant eagle could not escape the grasp of the river monster. And as the people on the shore watched it get taken down into the depths, it shed it's feathers trying to fight itself free. The people on the shore ran in haste to gather and preserve the feathers from being lost and ruined. As they knew the many feathers to be so sacred and had such a power as to allow the eagle to rise up to our Heavenly Father, acting as a channel and messenger between the people and Him. And the people were able to preserve those feathers and use them to bless their people and the earth. Takeaway: Go to, and obtain as many of these feathers as possible. And keep them and use them well and in holiness. For the very sake of humanity and to preserve the connection between our Heavenly Father in fulfilling his work and his glory. Else the heavens be shut upon us. 🙏

The same Jesus Christ that was born in Bethlehem, died on Calvary, and rose again the third day. Can some of you help me understand why the world looks forward to a second coming that Jesus, the apostles, Josephus and at least 4 respected first century Roman historians say happened in 73 AD? Are we sure that we are not looking forward to the third coming of Jesus Christ just like the book of Revelations says we are?

I’m sure you are accomplished and proficient at scripture study. Let’s start with Matthew 16. In M 16 Jesus began to open the eyes of his 12 special disciples as to the near future (a future they would be integrally involved in). Read verses 19-21 carefully and contemplate the foretelling of the conclusion of this first Earthly mission, including Jesus’ death and resurrection. Then read verses 27-28 and contemplate Jesus return “in the glory of the Father…with His angels (not the Father’s angels)…and reward man according to their works”. (Three distinct aspects of the second coming.) Then Jesus says to His disciples SOME of them will live to see the second coming. Not one or two, but some. If this peaks your interest, I will show you more tomorrow night.
