I bough the same sprayer and nozzle recently..and I ran out liquid in tank for 1000sq.ft in like less than half way 😅 I was surprised how quick they consume! Great vid! 👍
great job jimmy i just did the same thing hear in so cal inland empire soil temp is 85 now the heat is on thanks for flowzone tips keep up the great videos
I don’t know if you’ll ever see this comment but I have Mineiro 2F, would you also put down 1.6 oz per 1000 on that too? I think it’s the same active ingredients
Jimmy, not to plug someone else on your channel, but I have a Flowzone Cyclone sprayer too and I bought it through GCI Turf Academy. GCI Turf also offers some custom nozzles called "Nozzle Buddy" that looks very similar to what you were showing here and the nozzles are one piece, quick connects, not three pieces. I don't know how the prices and availability compare to what you showed, but it's worth checking out. Nice video, Jimmy. Happy Independence Day to everyone!!!
Thanks for doing this video as I saw the new nozzle and was curious about them. 1. I did have a question about why you go with the new blue Lesco nozzle now instead of a wand/teejet nozzle? 2. Does it matter what kind of Flowzone you have? I have the one that goes up to I think 60psi, is that enough for this kind of nozzle? 3. Do you use this same nozzle for every application or just things where you want larger droplets to get down to the soil more and not on the leafblade itself? So maybe a misting teejet for foliar apps and the Lesco for soil ammendments and things such as that?
1. I’ve used both. I’d put it to personal preference and I’m open to trying stuff. 2. This nozzle is for higher flow rates. 3. I would use this like you said only for products that need to get into the soil. Then more if a fine mist tip for foliar apps.
Same in Tennessee yesterday was 102 and today started at 99 but the rain we just got helped cool us back down and gave us some benefital natural water so my sprinkler system didn't have to go off but my Kentucky bluegrass definitely needs some hydratain but I will put my turf titan hydro holder down to help.
Jimmy this spray nozzle was posted by the Pest and Lawn Ginja about 2-3 years ago and you didn’t even give him credit for coming up with this idea🤔 shame on you…
This is a common setup in the industry, neither one of them came up with it or invented it. He is just sharing information on what he is using, he's not selling it or saying he designed it himself.
Luckily we don't live in Europe and I hope it's killing the insects and pest it says it does or I want my money back. Not 100% sure, but this is a product that is watered into the soil after the application on turf grass, and not sure how it would affect the Bee's if it is watered into the soil. I could see it affecting bee's on trees and other plants if you used it on them.
@@Blubaugh5it's in a class called neonics. In the lawn it won't effect the bees. It's even questionable how much of an impact it actually is having on bees compared to herbicides leading to a lack of food source (mostly caused by agriculture). However, this may kill beneficial bugs like ladybug larvae, earthworms, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will be trying this way see if helps keep chemical vinyl off white fence

Just bought this setup from your links. I'm excited to give it a try
I tested this setup out on another brand of sprayer. Didn't seem to work so well with 45 or 60 PSI. To bad, I like the setup.
Jimmys back!!
That’s a great nozzle setup. I’m guessing you don’t use the same setup for foliar applications or do you? I like the look of it. Well done.
Thanks! I use a fine mist tip for foliar apps
Love this type of content! Thanks!

I feel like with the knozzle he includes its no need for the knozzle budy. Only one you will need is a fine mist t jet and your set.
Did you mix all in one tank?
Microgreene is typically recommended to not mix with anything? Thanks.
Good vid bro. What footwear are you wearing in this video? Thank you! Good work.

I like the setup. Confirming you tank mixed all four items together for a single application?
Confirmed
@@JimmyLewisMows I appreciate it Jimmy. Have a great rest of the week.
What psi setting ate you using for that nozzle? I ask because I have the cyclone and it doesn't go as high as yours
Why did I think you moved to Florida to work at Yard Mastery with LCN. Looks like you are still in the mountains.
Is the hat you're wearing available anywhere?
Which pressure setting (black dial on the side of the sprayer) did you use?
Highest
Nice video!
Love the glasses
First Aussie 😁 Jimmy, great advice 😎
Is this nozzle for soil apps? What nozzle would you use for foilar apps?
For foliar apps you’re going to want a fine mist. I like this one:
amzn.to/30pSBPT
@@JimmyLewisMows I use that one for foilar. So the Lesco blue nozzle that’s only for soil apps?
Correct it produces large droplets. For foliar you want a mist of smaller droplets that will cover the most surface area possible of the grass blades.
Jimmy, when will be the next eTimemaster video?=)
Soon!
Heatwave!? That’s not a heatwave. It was 108 yesterday June 30 and going to be 106 today here in sunny Sacramento, CA. Now, THAT’S a heatwave!

We will get up to 100 it’s just been a quick transition and I’m not acclimated yet 😅
Jimmy, are you still affiliated with Yard Mastery? I was wondering why you were using the Flowzone instead of the Yard Mastery sprayer.
Ya still affiliated. I use the YM sprayer for weed control.

There's no way 2 people both came up with using quick connects, outrageous

Jeez I don’t like how you are spraying high up with bare legs …. The bug spray is banned in Europe …it’s a bee and insect killer = nasty stuff
