I love the Caterhams. A lot of fun to drive with a shifter and manual clutch. 1.6 is around the corner and fixes the slip angle issues that made the game feel arcadey. With the current version 1.5 there are two classes with early 1.6 physics, F-Ult2 and Stock 24 The BMW M1 is quite an experience to drive, try it at Nordschleife
@daifuco Caterhams are a blast.. I'm waiting on stock for a shifter and pedal set, then I might try an online race in a Caterham class if that's possible. New update sounds good 👍
@ribasiba8726 I generally read good comments on it? I just personally didn't gel with it. Admittedly I played for about 6 hours on it yesterday and had a great time!
What 7900 xtx do you have? Im currently using the AS rock 7900 xtx Tiachi white OC edition.. I struggle to get it to work well with some sims. I get shutters. Idk if its something in my settings or what. I turn off most of the adrenaline options except for sync. Ive tried default, ddfault OC, Vram OC and custom where i underocked it a bit. Compared to my old 3080ti it just seems less smooth..
@rankisdumb214 I have the saphire nitro!.. I get quite a lot of stuttering in ACC with it also! Definitely smoother on my old 3080ti system and I tried it on the 4080 which it ran smoother. I might try look into it and find out if it can be fixed 🤔
Id rather spend $500 in iracing than $100 in ams2... i bought the base game and it sucks xd physics and feedback are bad compared to iracing, servers are dead, ai isnt even as good as people say it is, graphics only look good in a very few weather conditions making it often look super flat and boring. in iracing i expect to spend money because its a competitive game but ams2 doesnt feel the same. i was super pissed finding out what i have to pay to get actual drivable cars and not just some weird shit noone cares about anyway.
@_leymo Doesn't iracing look worse?, or does everyone playing it just play low settings? I'd like to try it, but as someone more casual the subscription seems like it's catered more to hard-core?
@@Spratty-wb3is I wouldnt say it looks worse, it just doesnt look "fancy". every modern game has way too much saturation, sunflares, bloom and stuff like that. iracing definitely has high res cars, super clean textures and realistic reflections especially in the rain. its just not over stylized. i feel like you can make the game look super good by just taking out almost all of the saturation using reshade making it super realistic. its not supposed to look like a game. and yeah its not made for casual drivers. it does cost alot of money but im unable to go back to any game other than iracing because everything feels weird to me. iracing feels way more responsive and the tires have actual grip. almost every other game feels like im driving with those Wii wheel things where you put your controller in. LMU and rfactor2 are ight but AC, ACC, AMS2 and Rennsport feel like im constantly experiencing aquaplaning. Using the entire Asetek Invicta set.
@@Spratty-wb3is oh and, yes i feel like most people are playing on low settings because the optimization is pretty bad. i hope they fix it with their graphics update. as im playing on a single 1440p monitor with a 4080S i could play the game at pretty high settings but chose to disable things like foliage aswell simply because graphics dont matter after you really start focusing on your race.

Bro, with 100$ you don't even get 5 tracks and 5 Cars in iRacing plus subscription to be able to use your purchased content lol. I love AMS2 and ACC.
@EdisonArias Yeah man I know!
I'm torn on the subscription for iracing but I'd like to try it
