I just wish they would build these without the stupid little 1500 watt space heater. I quit heating with electrical resistance long ago...it's too expensive. I just want the ambiance of a fire. That should reduce the price of these in about half.
I just bought this one but unfortunately the heating is not efficient, the heat blows from the bottom and it aims down and heats up my floor more than the living room... other than that it’s ok

Not really.. have you priced standalone space heaters? you can pick up a 1500W one for about $15

Weird, mine blows from the top up towards the ceiling. Heat rises anyways so you would think the bottom would work.
It should not matter which direction it blows. It should still heat the room.
the worst thing is to mount the TV way to high on the wall !
thats why u gotta get front fan, so you dont worry about the heat damaging your tv
