We left Hawaii many years ago. We picked Reno to be close to Tahoe and basically the west coast. Its all about the road trips here!!! Utah is amazing too. So close to Moab, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Glacier NP and more.

What a good video! As a Christian as well, I have been praying about relocating. I wanted to move to Hawaii or California so badly, but I have been given an opportunity I SLC, so I am exploring it and seeing what comes from it.

Salt Lake City is a great place where many Pacific Islanders have moved to. The Winters are cold, but Spring, Summer and Fall months are great. Cost of living in Hawaii is too high for most islanders. Good luck to you both! "Growth through changes..."
summer is here and we are loving it! winter wasn't too bad but it can get tiring being in the snow every day for sure
UT is awesome! There many Poly’s here and some Hawaiian restaurants. Aunties Hawaiian Kitchen is one of my favs in Riverton. I live in Herriman, the southwest corner of Salt Lake County. Love it here. Been in UT on & off about 7 years. Originally from SoCal, used to surf & play beach volleyball. Ironically Newport Beach is my fav to visit in SoCal. Lived in HB too. I’m not a fan of SLC to live, but there are so many other really nice, more friendly places in the suburbs. South Jordan, Day Break, Riverton & Herriman are newer, nicer areas, but lots of nice areas everywhere.
we love it so much! We're not in SLC, too much people haha and we found an amazing hawaiian restaurant.

Been to salt lake before ( former truck drv) they have a winchester rifle factory, a large open copper mine, a large airplane museum, like ww2 planes?

Yeah that's back when truck drv was fun I saw both good and bad spots in the U S a lot I will prob never see again in the next 4 vacations ( retired now)
Not far from there is where the east/ west RR met those old pictures where then president drove the final stake

Idaho has WAY cold brutal winters, CO has outragous taxes if thats what u R trying to get away from
so far utah was definitely the best choice
