Hammersmith Odeon at Xmas this was the best night of my life was only .15 years old & White queen just blew us all away that night Very blessed to have been there & to this day it’s by far my fav queen song . Glad you’ve found it too xx 💋
Every time listen to this it's like hearing it for the first time. I get so caught up in the piano and guitar section. It's like the piano and guitar are communicating. Unbelievable.
You’re description of the piano is exactly how I felt when I first heard this. Iv been a Queen fan since the mid 70’s and had never heard this song until last year. The instrumental section is musical perfection. It’s contrasts with the screaming guitar and the ominous tones Freddie uses on the piano create a haunting sound that still gives me shivers. Without wishing to sound morose , I want this played at Max volume at my funeral!! Brilliant reaction. Thank you
Yes it stirrs the soul !!! One of my favorites I just found ur reaction to this today 5/29/22 an you did this a year ago I have been watching u for well over a year now God Bless you Cancer man David you are the BEST 💯🔥💓🌼❣️🌹🌹🌻🌻🌞♾️☮️
A Brian May composition, supposedly about a girl he admired but couldn't get up the courage to approach. Looking for lyric video? Have a look at 'Death on Two Legs', it's about an early manager who was robbing them blind - Freddie was NOT happy and this was the result. The lyric video allows us to appreciate the full venom and vitriol of Freddie's feelings about the guy.
Queen have always been an album band..the majority of tracks have been what u havnt heard on the radio or in the charts..the true gems of the queen catalogue..
Hi David this is when I got in the queen I was 13 how 61 and these are the most of the 70s I listen to so dark and how Freddie plays the piano. But you need to start listening from the first album you’ll love it 🎹🎹🎸🎸🥁🪕🎤🎤🎤
Hi there Brian May wrote this. I would love you to react to You take my breath away live at Hyde Park. Absolutely a beautiful song written and performed by Freddie.🙏
You must react to Death on Two Legs....I had it on today and it reminded to tell you. Freddie wrote it about their first manager who was royally ripping them off. Freddie at his most vicious. Nobody messed with him! Do the lyric video if you do it so you see the words. 😂
Queen and Freddie's voice were at their peak in the 70's, for me the last proper album was The Game, after that in the 80's something was missing that early albums had, that edge.
Brian wrote this song in the 60's about a girl he didn't talk to but loved very much. She left and he never had any mental closure. This song is about unrequited love. Young man sees a beautiful woman in his town and never has the guts to talk to her. She left the town never knowing the the young man even existed.
I don’t mean to be contrary, but it’s not accurate to say that the past wasn’t rich or updated to this kind of songs. Think of Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin in the early 70s. Unfortunately Queen had to wait a little more due to choices they had to make in their lives. They are still exceptional. But back then the music scene was something that we probably hardly ever can imagine. (I was born in 1981).
Fun fact; my favourite LIVE performance of a Queen track. Loved this vibe so much!
Please react to journey Stev Perry
Ahh you found the track that greets you on your way to Heaven
