There was bullshit. The secret calico spice. What the hell was that? No container. No brand. Just some magic dust. How am I supposed to duplicate his recipe? This is the second video I've watched where they use secret ingredients.-
@@mrgregw the video was made for people with a functioning brain .. how the hell would they know what you like for a sauce .. everyone is different ..
I prefer glass😂 great video short and to the point thank you
Thanks Chris
For telling me that so quickly I went to other channels and they dragged it out this was a fantastic video thank you so much. I did know how to cook long ago used to watch all the cooking shows I couldn't even boil an egg it's amazing how much you learn on those cooking shows you really have to go to school for anything unless you really want become a professional chef. How do I love these smartphones makes my whole life a lot easier
Thank you. 🙏
If you can't buy Calico spice why are you telling us to use it?
Needs a half teaspoon of fresh lemon juice also...
What can I use instead of apple cider vinegar
Measurements really help. 😁
Oh awesome, a recipe with ingredients I don’t know that I’ll never be able to make 😂
I was thinking the same thing! You are doing a recipe on how to make something but keeping some of the ingredients a secret? Hahaha what a crock of crap
Lol 😆 made a How to Make video and kept the ingredients secret... I'm gonna try that,, I'm gonna make a how to get stains out of Carpet video and leave out the most important chemical ..
Super secret😂
Measurements???
Okay how the F do we add ingredients from a recipe video If we don't know what they are!!! FIRED!
Thank you, it was great, could you please write us the name of that seasoning!? thanks
Could you write the ingredients please .
Wow!, this was 10 years ago! Here's what I did: I had a bag of shredded cabbage, dumped it out and chopped it down, I shredded 1 large carrot and chopped 'fine' a small sweet onion, added those in the bowl with cabbage, grab another bowl and add some mayo, 1/2 to 3/4 a cup (I just eye'd it), add some vinegar about a 1/4 to a to a 1/3, (apple cider vinegar is better), squeeze some lemon juice, I just used what I had left about 2 tsp., add some sugar (I use raw), about 1/2 a tblsp., I just prinkled on some onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper to taste and a couple shakes of nutmeg, mix up real good and then add it to your cabbage, mix good! Note: I used a 14 oz. bag of shredded cabbage, which had some carrot already. That is the first time I made that! The taste had me coming back for more! 😄 Make it your own, add a little more of each if it's not the consistancy you like.....Hope this is helpful.
You should get your own channel and do whatever you like. Don't come on and crap all over someone else.
Nutmeg?
I love you 😭
I'm just going to throw in my grandma's super secret spices but you guys use whatever you want & if it doesn't taste that great then oh well.
looks delicious...
Amount?
Title: "How to Make Coleslaw Dressing" Instructions: Mix in secret spices that I can't tell you about.
*A little bit of this A little bit of that A little bit of some of these. NO MEASUREMENTS!* 🤣
Useless. Fool has a secret recipe on RUclips.
I was just about to say.
You should never call anyone ah fool, regardless!💕
What if he wants to just show it with the world out of the goodness of his heart. He surely doesn't deserve to be called a fool because of that.
i agree
Amounts would help.
It's not that hard to see the amounts that are used here. Make it to taste, if you want more of one flavor add it and mix well, or add more or less next time you make it. Often the measuring utensils 'keep' half the ingredients anyway, it's a waste to use them, I'd rather have the spices in the dish than have to wash them off all the measuring utensils. You can create some great dishes by varying amounts of ingredients, and that is the fun part, and you can proudly call it your own recipe. My dressing is probably different every time, and really good. Most of all though, I love, love love Jimmy's Cole Slaw Dressing, but it is not available here.
Can you please write down the ingredients in the comments 😊
Coleslaw dressing
good video man, apple cider fa sho, suga fa sho. you got it.
A how-to recipe video where the chef won't give you all the ingredients. Gee... thanks!
Just the last part with the crap in that plastic container is not needed. Pointless to even say anything
Yeah, that’s bullshit
Coleslaw on BBQ sandwich? Why? Never have done that and i don't see any reason to do that.
You aren't giving the amounts of each ingredient!😢
What’s a point to make video tutorial if you don’t share all ingredients 😒
Ok so you make a video about a recipe wish you can tell the ingredients , nice thumb down, let me tell you my mom jalapeño sauce, add some jalapeños water, and herbs i cant tell you because is a family recipe, but there you have a fantastic jalapeño sauce
secret ingredient ? MSG
Another cool thing to do is to simply add the ground up cabbage, or whatever it is, to thicker soups, stews, or to softer veggie or meat dishes in your meal. You get the fiber without any extra trouble which is good for cleaning out the gut, and removing toxins, and wiggly things and doesn't affect the taste of your softer cooked foods much, in fact it increases taste in a good way. It's nice to eat all salad stuff at one time, but if you're short on time or teeth, this incorporates a salad into your main dishes and you don't need to worry about salad dressings. It's a real boost for people with bad or missing teeth as they tend to eat only soft, mushy foods which can ferment and create toxins and homes for parasites in the gut which is now being linked to cancer. In some videos, people are using dog dewormers to get rid of cancers as the theory, which was popular over a hundred years ago, is that Cancer and other illnesses are caused by worms. Raw fiber such as cabbage scrapes parasites off the stomach lining and gets rid of em. Sorry that the subject is a bit much.
I agree with edhunley, why bother posting this video if you're not going to reveal ALL the ingredients. Is your other videos the same?
So much for cooking guide channel 😅😅
No evidence of coleslaw but mere words of how to make one.
What’s the point of the recipe if you can’t give all the ingredients?
Just what I wanted... a recipe with one missing ingredient. Why???
Bcuz it’s not even needed. His own conglomeration thrown in at the end in that little plastic container. It’s a great recipe and he shouldn’t even have uttered a word about that crap at the end.
Why put this on if you can't say how to make it?
WTF LOL
Lol here's a coleslaw dressing good luck...
A recipe channel where the recipe is a secret! 🤣🤣🤣 Good joke!
Here is what I will be making:
Finely shredded cabbage, some grated carrots, very finely sliced green onions, fresh chopped coriander leaves.
Mix Apple Cider Vinegar with honey. Taste. Add more of either one till balanced out as sweet/sour perfectly.
Mix Mayo with vinegar mixture, and this should be barely runny. It will get more runny as cabbage wilts from the salt.
Take mortar and crush some black mustard seed finely and it should be pungent. Toss into Mayo.
Crush some black sesame crudely and toss into Mayo. Not fine, but very coarse.
Add black pepper, sea salt, finely crushed annatto (achiote) for color, fresh grated or powdered horseradish (just a tad for zest).
Optional is dillweed leaves - fresh is always better than dried. Not sure of the flavor profile with dillweed, so taste a bit first.
Balance out the flavors of salt, vinegar, and honey. It should be slightly sweet, with a mustard/horseradish tang.
You don't need oil since mayo has lots of it.
Why would you publish this? A recipe where you don't give the viewers all the ingredients....
How are we supposed to make it
When you don’t reveal the ingredients 😂😂😂
Just add stuff. I can't tell you what, it's a secret.
Why would someone share a recipe and not the "secret ingredient"....WTF
👎Where’s the recipe?
Typical arrogant "chef", secret recipes, not wanting to cooperate, superiority complex attitude
You know what'd be cool. MEASUREMENTS OF EVERYTHING. YOU FOOLS!... *flips table*
Thanks for nothing
Why the frickin hell do you post a recipe if it’s some national treasure and some closely guarded family secret??? 😏😏😏
If you won’t share the “secret” ingredients, why post an incomplete recipe?
Don’t call it a recipe if you’re not gonna share the ingredients. Very cute though.
Here is the recipe sorry I can’t tell you the ingredients 🤡
BS. CHRIS
Did they seriously make a cooking video and use "secret" ingredients? Why make the video if it's such a secret? So stupid.
Let me show you how to make this recipe, but let me not show you as well
Don’t make how to videos with secret ingredients. Useless
“You got a nice little coleslaw” except for you can’t make it because Chris won’t tell the secret ingredients! WTF bull time suck is this?
Secret recipe? Why f’n bother.
Thanks for nothing Dude! Here is a recipe but I can't tell you, the ingredients.
Well thanks for the secret ingredients…total waste of time
A recipe with secret ingredients. Waste of time
This was a respectful waste of time to watch. 👎🏻
You can just hold onto your secret ingredient between your knees. Waste of time watching this. Not a good way to make fans.
Why in world would you offer a recipe yet hold back ingredients, hahaha. Secret, then why bother! Geesh, You lost me! Never to subscribe.
You really should give all the ingredients if you want people to follow you. Just saying.
Chris, save your breath if you can't tell us the recipe. This was a glorious waste of my time!!!
