  • Matthew H. Kulke, MD is the Chief of Hematology/Oncology, Co-Director of the BU/BMC Cancer Center, and Zoltan Kohn Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Kulke is internationally recognized for his work in the field of neuroendocrine tumors. He has led or co-led both early and late-stage clinical trials leading to the development of telotristat ethyl, temozolomide, sunitinib, everolimus, and peptide receptor radionuclide therapy for the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. His work has additionally included the characterization of neuroendocrine tumors at the molecular level and has resulted in over 200 peer-reviewed publications.

    Thank you for being positive! The anxiety is a major problem for me when I am feeling brave I listen to these messages. I have had surgery for this Dr Pommier at OHSU was amazing he is also very positive. Thank you to Dr Williams my oncologist and his PA Sarah for referring him to me. I went to several Drs for years trying to find out what I had. I had flushing,diarrhea,allergic to anything fermented.It was found through a colonoscopy.

    I get Octreotide every month and a B12 injection. I ask why I need to have B12, because at times my b12 levels are high and still get the injection.
    Please let me understand this part.
    Increased B12?what brings it about?
