The bolt carrier group uses yst bolts to hold the gas key. The bolt carrier group also doesn’t use a chrome lined bolt carrier or gas key. The castle nut and end plate are mild steel. ( Extremely soft.) The charging handle is 6000 series aluminum. It also uses a smaller diameter spring. Which is on the weaker side. I upgraded the latch on mine with a Strike industries extended charging latch. I could not use the spring that came with it because it was to large of a diameter. I have install this lever four times before. Never had a charging lever that wouldn’t take the larger spring. Flash hider has slots cut all the was around. Will kick up dirt if you lay prone. Saves money because you don’t have to time the muzzle. And you don’t need a jam nut. Castle nut isn’t staked. Mim parts used in lower. Buffer tube is also 6000 series aluminum. I like mine. Personally, I've always considered the "higher end" manufacturer's prices to be excessive, even if they are 100% manufactured and assembled by Americans in the United States. Considering that the vast majority of manufacturing AR parts is done by automated CNC machines, there's just not that much labor in the making of an AR-style rifle. Any decent armorer can assemble most AR-15's in 30 minutes or less. And though it does take a talented machinist to set up the tooling to manufacture rifle parts, a single operator can produce MANY parts in a day, so the labor cost is greatly reduced by today's modern machinery. It really comes down to who is willing to sell for a lower profit margin. It is absolutely certain that some "lower end" parts and rifles are of lesser quality than similar higher priced products and in most cases I believe them to be imported from manufacturers which do little, if any, quality control. Of course there is no excuse for hiring illegals to save a buck when Americans are more than willing to pay a bit more for a product that is 100% Made in U.S.A. by Americans.

Actually they weren't busted, the illegal workers were. Bear Creek had their paperwork in order.
Just shows how accurate our government checks are because their paperwork cleared at hiring
I never saw the point in staking a castle nut, the castle nut is something you want to be able to remove, so why stake it?
Because soldiers had them come lose in the middle of a fire fight and caused catastrophic failure of the rifle now you and me are not going to be doing that but it's really not a big deal some people just are paranoid when it comes to things like that and in truth anyone can steak the castle nut with a hammer and cheap punch set from the hardware store
@@dragoneye6642 I was in the U.S. Army Infantry and never heard anything like that before. Unless you're talking about before my time in the service
