Real talk though, Mega Man X 6 has always had one of the best soundtracks of the franchise, and you've made part of it new again. I'm so happy with this.
What an intro! Gave me a real, "Are you not entertained?" feeling! The sense of grandiosity mixed with a feeling of nihilistic angst produces such a refreshing perspective compared to other Mega Man X music!
Funny, I had Mega Man X6's soundtrack stuck in my head this morning :P I swear you're a mind reader. Another fantastic job here. The intro segment's trumpets make me think of Captain America's theme from Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, and it still sounds like The Final Countdown, so that's an A+ handling of the intro. The rest of the song is just as good, especially the guitar section at the end; combining the guitar with the high synth made for a really great sound. Yep, another one to the favorites playlist :P
